      Sherry Bullard I agree. I've gathered as much of his material as I could plus I belong to his group on Facebook just simply because he has helped me so much. It's beyond words.

    I’ve written a journal as long as I learned to write. My cellar is full of journals! I think thatcthe oldest saved one I wrote when I was 10 years old. Now I am 55.
    BUT this video gave me plenty of ideas how to do it BETTER! Thank you very much sharing this here, and thank you Jim Rohn for your wisedom!

      Oh wow!! Is it too personal to ask a question about your journals? Do you plan to pass them on to family or just leave them in your cellar until someine finds them? Ive wanted to journal but often worried about my most intimate thoughts being invaded if I leave them behind. I often wondered when they start to build up should I collect the insightful bits out of them and turn them into a book to help others, or should I just burn them or something.

    Perfect! No music! Now I can listen to Jim Rohn without having to endure the Chariots Of Fire soundtrack.

      Lol good point, but for some having the background music can intensify the message that Jim Rohn speaks. We are all different types of learners.

    I discovered Jimothy Rohn 3 Years ago at age 17.He inspired me to begin journalling reading, asking the big questions in the area of Personal Development & I am forever grateful for it. Looking back at my firs fewt journals only 3 years later it is fascinating to re experience the days that were so vividly captured on paper.
    Thank You Jim for an incredibly useful & beneficial legacy to humanity.
    I will forever look up to you & continue to strive to share the knowledge that is beautifully helpful to the ever so confused & unguided youth of todays generation.
    Teammates Forever,
    Matt Talsma

    What is so hard about journaling is the self reflection to dig into yourself with truthful evaluation.

    I've come across with many videos that give advices on how to keep a journal. But none of them encouraged me enough to make an action until I saw This amazing Video. I have kept a Journal for almost 4 months now - i must say it completely changes my life and improves my communication skills ALOT. Before i often got problems with expressing my ideas and showing opinions to anothers like i know what it is but dont know how to form it in sentence logically. Thanks to write it down my thoughts on Journal - keep track of goal and plans, I am now feeling more confident. Thank you Jim Rohn very much.

    To write things down is great, has a effect on Structure coordination and organization on a person's mind, When I get manic and depressed I will write things down goals and needs and go over them and check them off sometimes they're not done but I try to get everything done within at least a week and I do feel so much better when I achieve the goals I have 2 journals long term and short term goals and read both of them all the time.

    What do you think about the idea of taking note from meetings and work in your Journal and using that as a starting point for writing later? I have been considering this but also don't want my work notes to get disorganized any ideas?

    Thank you for this life changing teaching. What's your take on electronic Journaling ie using iPad?

    • @InappropriateShorts
      @InappropriateShorts  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think the iPad (especially with the Apple Pencil) are a great way to journal electronically. Only downside is it’s easy to get distracted with and it runs out of battery. I use this method along with a paper journal and a smaller notebook.
      I encourage you to try all forms of journaling until you find something that fits well with your situation.

    My biggest fear is that someone will find it and read it. I have some deep, dark stuff to unload, a lot about the people who many find it eventually. Also, I'm afraid that if I carried it around I'd lose it.

    Anybody write their journal in their phone? Anybody with experience good or bad?

    • @InappropriateShorts
      @InappropriateShorts  6 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Ben O Hi Ben. You can do it but theres something about actually writing with you hand. You can get some of the benefits on phone but paper is best. There are no distractions in your journal. No pop ups, no facebook or recommended videos on TH-cam. Try both and get back to us on how you like it.
