Ikea do solid doors or drawer inserts and legs you could add to an Eket box and that would turn the box into more of a side table. You can also add legs to Kallax units (not the under frame thingies they also sell, but standard furniture legs) which would elevate the single cube beside your desk and make it look more like a side table
