@@annmimi_extraextra It's just the three people. But channels typically in group form rend to have problems inside the "company." I would do your own research if you wanna know more as not to construe opinions.
@@alexhough7653 There are probably at least 6 people. And quite a few more contributors. I don't see any reason to care about company politics. Just consume the content.

The title really seems like it would be shovelware, but it doesn't look too bad.
I hope after Super Rush they can make Golden Sun again. Those games mean so much to me

How do we know this isn’t from an alternate timeline when camelot was bought by capcom? How do we know this ACTUALLY came out and was developed in this one?

I've owned this game since I was a kid and didn't know how obscure it was until I saw this video yesterday. I had a lot of fun as a kid and unlocked all the characters, but not all the costumes or star versions from the opponent matches. What I can say for sure is that the game is legit fun, and still holds up today.
Gotta say, when Jon tweeted hinting at this video a few days ago I would have never guessed that he'd be talking about We Love Golf. But I am more than here for it.

I remember there were 2 Golf games by Tecmo that also had costumes based on their franchises like DOA or Ninja Gaiden, it was called Super Swing Golf, though obviously wasn't made by Camelot
they were console ports of an old online game called pangya! n i loved them 😭😭😭

Speaking of Camelot, one year before they made Mario Golf on the N64, they made Everybody's Golf for the PS1.

It's just like how Wii Party is technically Mario Party 8.5 but with Mario characters replaced with Miis.
I know it can never compete with Mario sports for profit, but damn do I wish Golden Sun would be revived :(

What happened was that I think in 2006, Camelot announced they were leaving Nintendo for some weird PC online service, and they announced for said service; I Love Golf. Things went south for Camelot during this period and these plans never materialized, and they apparently had to let go many people (but apparently rehired after). We Love Golf was evidently salvaged from this project. They said the two weren't related, but that was likely more in that the Wii game was built from scratch and not just I Love Golf ported over.
Can't help but wonder what would've happened for Camelot if they didn't do shit and just stayed put. I also can't help but wonder if their decline (IMO) was a result from that. They never recaptured their pre-2006 glory days. I heard World Tour is great so there's that. But Aces really underwhelmed, but I did like Open enough but it was a far cry from Power Tennis. Super Rush does look VERY promising so we'll have to wait and see.

World Tour is a great game but Open just looks dumbed down (though I've never played it so my opinion doesn't really mean anything)
Weird how Mario Golf always seemed to be less prioritized than Tennis yet it got the last laugh by having the better (by far imo) 3DS game
But I definitely get what you mean. I love how Toadstool Tour looks, the little easter eggs like the Pikmin hiding in the flower fields really make the experience (it's why I decided to pick up the game as my first legit physical GCN game when I found it at a retro game store)
This makes me wish more companies used their IPs similarly to Nintendo. This is a nice example, the game probably sold not too well the way it was branded. Call it Capcom Ultra Golf or something and replace costumes with other models and it's already selling much better.
And I'm sure I'm not the only one who would buy a Capcom Party game. Playing Minigames with Megaman X against Leon Kennedy, Phoenix Wright and Dante seems like a cool idea to me.

As Nintendo was probably particular on if third parties could use the Wii name it easy to see why We Dare, We Ski and more are named that way as they didn't have a license to use the name. Licensing is always the reason why things get so awkward or annoying.

You do realize these characters have an anime inspired design which would lend itself to being most likely Asian influenced in appearance, right?

And even then, an artstyle doesn't dictate a character's race, especially for a game that is being released across the world. That's like saying Disney or Pixar movie has an "American" art style and therefore only white people should be in them.

I still have this game that I got for Christmas back in 2008. Very underrated Golf game for sure. Haven't played it in a couple years, but played the hell out of it back in the day! I also own every Mario Golf game in the series & have been playing Super Rush nearly every day since it first launched last year!
RIP to Sony's Japan Studios who made the some of Everybody's Golf series.

Actually it's Clap Halz who made Everybody's Golf. But it seems like they're making their own Golf game without Sony anyway.

My Wii golf game of choice was Super Swing Golf, a console version of the MMO Pangya (and it came with Tecmo themed costumes)

I lawyer playing golf? That's original, Apollo.
There is a way to restart without resetting, you have to hover the Wiimote in the top left corner of the screen then a menu button will appear. From there you can restart.
I think Camelot also worked with the 1st Hot Shots Golf game, after that they went to work with Mario Golf.
This is actually really interesting and I might have to pick this up now
If you haven't tried Super Swing Golf on the Wii it's a great Mario Golf like game with great course environments.
Those target challenges are brutal in Super Rush. I don’t have the patience or need the XP that much…

I owned this game. Being able to play as Apollo Justice and Jill Valentine sold me. I sadly never got around to playing it and sold it MANY years later to help pay for bills.
No Jon, the VB's Mario Tennis game is called Mario's Tennis. So it's not the same series.

Mario tennis on Gamecube was the best tennis game of all time imo. Loved that game!

There is a pause button, but you have to use the censor bar for that, than you'll see a menu arrow, and then press a. I figured it out once I started playing in some minutes into the game.
I thought it was gonna be Hot Shot Golf.

The Wii is still my favorite system of all time and I didn't know this game existed! I played a lot of Pangya on Wii but never played this game. Now I'm really interested in playing it!
I believe this was a budget title in the US when it launched. And every Mario Golf expert knows that the power gauge for putting/driving is only for ideal conditions, with stuff like wind, rain and slopes not accounted for.
I love We Love Golf. I played a lot on Wii, it was one of the first Wii games I got Wii in 2008. I liked to play as Apollo Justice

I personally love playing the pangya games on the Wii. The second one I think is the best. I was really hoping we'd get the third and fourth installment but we never did. I think I played the third installment of the computer but it wasn't the same. Cecilia was probably my favorite character she had Rachel's costume from Ninja Gaiden 1 on the original Xbox. Axe and all. There were other costumes that were great like Kasumi, ayane, Ryu Hayabusa, even mighty bomb Jack. It did suck though that the costumes were limited to each character.
Camelot made the other tennis games? Good. Hope it's good

I'd heard of We Love Golf but just thought it was a popular low tier experience. As someone who still plays Wii games on my WiiU, this video has certainly elevated my interest in the title. If I spot it for a good price I might pick it up, though I'm more hyped for Super Rush on Switch as my golf title for the forseeable future (pending reviews etc) :-)

This game IS online still through Wiimmfi. There are easy ways to patch physical game discs to play online again. Or if you have a USB loader then it can do it for you. There are not any communities for this game that I know of. It would be cool to play this game with people since the wiimmfi does work with my test run.
Do You know if there's mods? Would be interesting to mod this Game and add Mario characters.
