Another magnificent adventure! I was not expecting it but so glad you produced it. Terrific scenery, lovely background music and two very interesting people. And a great dog! Your spirit of adventure is nothing less than inspiring. Looking forward to the next one.

Love the memories flooding back from my diving days, I worked on a 50’ dragger and we did a lot of tiger prawns up in the inlets close to where you folks are in this vid:)
Thanks for another great video, a real treat to watch! My last trip to Kemano I was youngster travelling with my parents and a few other Kitimat Rod and Gun members, going to a trap shoot competition. We travelled on an older wooden Forestry patrol boat. I can’t remember the name of the boat but I sure remember the waterfalls! That trip sure solidified my love of the BC coast.
Great job on the video guys, love the waterfall clips. It was nice you got to experience that rare phenomenon at this time of the year, in the North Coastal region. Of course I am referring to that beam of sunshine and glimpse of blue sky….lol
Just a glimpse hahah lol. A brief moment in time 😆. The waterfalls are amazing. You can’t breath next to them. So powerful. Thundering down. It’s cool oxox
Lovely! Your "little" trips are so inspiring. Just bought some seafood today and the jumbo prawns (frozen) were over $6 per 100gr! You guys rock. Stay safe.
Wow 6$ for 100gr! Wow! I guess we are so lucky to get some prawns and eat them fresh when we go out ! Thank u for watching our little trips! We can only go out on weekends so we have to wait until summmer to do our bigger adventures!
Yeah it’s getting cold up north here. We don’t boat every weekend so are little clips are far between! But when we do go it’s so fun! Thanks for watching !
When I contracted the Terrannessa to Eurocan we were into Kemano every 2nd day. Truck drivers and emergency parts. My Dad was Crawley McCraken manager at the Alcan guest house, store & gas station. I often borrowed a Eurocan pickup, drove up for a quick meal.
Wow what nice memories! We went for a tour of kemano not too long ago. My first time. It was neat to see. Lots of bears there! They are slowly burning down the houses. They don’t want them there anymore
I was a young Teamster in 1956 when we were putting in Gen. 5 Years later when my Dad retired from the City of Kimberley he moved to Kitimat then to Kemano. I saw more of him then than when I was growing up. He was a construction Mechanic @@MVSKOOKUM1

Hi Derek and Jen I have a question seeing that the only prawns we get in Edmonton are frozen..lol...is there a limit as to the amount you can catch. Totally enjoy your videos keep them coming...
Yes (in possession)we are allowed 250 prawns each. We do have throw back the female prawns that have eggs. Sometimes we do good and some pulls we get like 10 prawns. It all depends. We like to leave our traps out overnight 😀😀😀
@@mrdns63 Each prawn we do have to clean and pull the head off.. Its alot of work! They are sharp too! Their tails try to flap on your fingers and it hurts,, so I usually wait awhile before I start cleaning them. Jen
@@MVSKOOKUM1 I have bought whole shrimp once before and they are a pain to clean ..lol now I only buy the clean ones... but those ones Derek is holding up look hugeeee!!!!!! and worth cleaning yum yum would be very tasty with an elk steak
You can call the Rio Tinto security and see if the have a contact person. 250-639-8273. I have heard most people just go there and tie up. When we went our friend that works in Kemano made the arrangements for us. Thanks for watching our videos. 😁😁
Great video…beautiful area, that shot underneath the waterfall was pretty cool! Dumb question, but do you ever get a seal jumping up on the swim platform while at anchor?
