When I used to work in Gardner canal we would make a run out Trutch Island when there was minus tide and look for abalone when you could harvest them back in the day . Also when my mother was a kid growing up she lived at the south end of Pitt Island with her family where her father fished those waters .They called the place where there cabin was Wolf Point ,last time I was there the cabin was laying flat on the ground in ruin’s , just a little history
Wow we like hearing history! Thats really neat. Derek said it’s called Round Point now. Maybe oneday we will try to see if there is any pieces of the cabin left!
It’s in a little hidden bay at the south end , a family also logged in that area and their last name was Ring my mom always called it wolf point where they lived
Gosh Jennifer - that black rain gear set is pretty darned fashionable!! Derek is a lucky guy!! Our big pocch Willow sat and watched the whole episode - it's raining here too in SW Washington - and she DOES NOT like the rain at all, not one little bit! 🤣 Thanks for sharing your adventures with us!
Glad you managed some blue sky amid all that rain! Great score with all those prawns. I used to love being out in the rain, and then you get lucky and the clouds break and the sun comes out. It’s a special time to be out in nature for sure. Those breakfast sandwiches looked amazing Derek! Happy early Birthday wishes Ranger!🎉
So glad we got some blue sky! It makes up for all that rain lol. Makes it worth going out adventuring. I love the mornings with the fog. It’s so peaceful too 😍
Hey another great trip even if raining off and on. We were on our way to Kitamat to see the LNG Flare on our holidays but got turned around from getting there by the rain and high rivers. We will try again in the spring Thanks for the trip
@MVSKOOKUM1 Terrance BC..Kitamat and Prince Rupert were just to wet. We just came from the Yukon on our way to Alberta. Hey just a reason to come back again. Great videos
Sitting here with covid feeling sorry for myself and bang your vid comes up. It put a real smile on my face. stopped the vid to make my own bacon and egg butty and couldn't taste a bloody thing. Boy those prawns looked good, I honestly cant think of anything better than garlic buttered prawns on toast. Smashing vid thank you. ( love the new start ).
Awe you have Covid? Plugged nose? Can’t taste a thing. Must have been torture biting into your egger and no taste ! 🥹. Hope you feel better soon! This darn Covid is still lingering around!
Hahaha love your production company logo. Ranger is a multi talented pup for sure!!! So we bought the same AirKayak y’all have. It is our very first boat toy as we are pretty new to boating. We are getting ready to purchase the railing kayak mounts. For this kayak, do y’all have the 12” or the 20”? Love your videos!!!
Thank you for watching us! That logo was fun to make. Took some editing and playing around. Haha. 🤣. We love our kayak. It’s amazing. We use it all the time to adventuring around. So peaceful too. The width is 16 and the depth is 20 😀
