So is this film an analogy for how we split we are today as a society (or societies, not just in America)? Just curious. I saw "In Bruges" over the summer for the first time. I wasn't into it as much as my friends, but I did appreciate how well Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson interacted with each other as characters. There must be something deeper in their actual relationships.

This film could be viewed as an analogy for the division in society. Although this film focuses more on the futility of holding personal grudges.
