@@mitchadventurestv5842 yup I was going to say that’s his style and when he is on it is fun to watch! He always had a handful of loses even that year. Kinda reminds me of the Lock haven kid who made it to the finals vs Zain. Some guys are just dangerous and really good tourney wrestlers but I was surprised being a runner up how rough of a record he had the season at Nebraska
I saw a guy say Moisey gave up???? Giving up position to try and hit gator rolls while getting majored by the returning NCAA champ is ballsy but definitely not giving up lol. Maybe an old timer who doesn't know what a gator roll from front headlock position is(no idea how long the move has been around)? That's the only thing I could think of. But yeah I was impressed by Moisey's nut sack going for home runs while down big and I thought Spencer hasn't looked quite as unstoppable this year after being so dominant against the Rutgers kid (tip of my tongue) in the finals last year.
J F I have nothing to add to this comment! I just had to commend you for a great comment. Well done my man. I got a good laugh reading this. I hope others do too!
@@ws8061 EXACTLY! Zeke went for it and had way more responses to Lee than other opponents have. It was actually competitive! He pulled the trigger on some risky moves and gave Lee a lot to handle. Great match!
Didn't Moisey get 2nd at NCAA? Correction: Honestly, I was hoping this would be closer and hoping he would have fought more. Nonetheless, these young guns are getting so good!
He got ridden hard. It's hard to have much left in the tank after that. Didn't see a lot of retherford's opponents get a second wind after a ride last year.
Y'all are right and I do agree and what I mentioned does seem harsh after reading it. - I'm rooting for him, at the end after his final move I was disheartened after seeing him do as much as he could to go from that to just placing his head on the mat.
I'm telling ya... something is DEFINITELY off with him this year...don't know what...but he's ALOT better than that dude that lost to Rivera at the Midlands, then DUCKED him in the dual meet.
Jeez, how many times can you let him take the near wrist n run with it, bar it, turkey..? I don’t get it, Moisey is a good wrestler, a bit funky n go for broke, but still a good wrestler. Lee must have some freakish grip strength.
I wonder if Moisey is regretting that move to the Big 10. Took his lumps and will be a quick out in Big 10 & NCAA's. He'll face Lee, Rivera or Piccininni early.
Moisey is one of the better first period wrestlers on his feet and fun to watch......until his gas tank starts to run out in the 2nd and 3rd periods. He's an average wrestler after that.
Seemed like Hawkeyes recruited the best talent every year. But now Penn St is tops in the NCAA grapplin rankings. Anybody know why the top teams and talent shifted Eastward?
True, part of Lee's success could be attributed to his ability to run a chivken wing (illegal) without the refs stopping it (probably because he wears the black and yellow). In the rule book, I am pretty sure putting your hand up to the guy's shoulder when running a bar is illegal, not potentially dangerous.
I would run it too, if the refs lets me. I can't blame Lee. However, I don't think we can faurly underestimate the effectiveness (or near impossibility to defend it). You hips down from the bar tilt, it sets you up perfectly for the illegal chicken wing...but not necessarily a legal bar. I feel for Moisey. He has had his should fixed already and I am sure that did nothing good for it.
Lee after moisey's take down: okay time to start trying
Tru tho
Cowabunga it is
Yea he better get better on his feet. Or he's fooked.
Moisey's left arm will feel that for days.
I liked that Moisey was just blasting the big moves, going for it.
Mark Anthony i love someone going balls to the wall on a guy like lee, only way you'll ever beat em is if you wrestle like you arent scared
If I remember right he got a couple quick pins on his way to the finals. Both upsets

He really didn't have much of a choice. He stayed behind the whole match besides the first 30 seconds basically.
Jaw dropped when Lee got taken down in the first.
that double😲 but y'all need to give Moisey his ranking in the title, that's disrespectful
Jordan Burroughs white son?
Limping a little after the match. Hope he's OK
He's faking it.
John Smith dumbest thing I’ve seen
His takedown kinda reminds me of JBs in a way
White Fang well that is his coach
Joe smoe u right
Lee stopped wrestling there
Same Moisey that took second at 125 to Thomasello... in 2015... I think the weight cut hurt him... should've went to 133 and just got stronger
This was a little more competitive than I thought it would be
Paul Maldonado zeke was a ncaa runner up I believe
Won by 14 points and nearly pinned him several times though

Spencer Lee is awesome. Never a dull moment either. The Prince of Pain.
I think Lee is injured...he doesn’t looks slow and he is limping after the match
He could be. He's from Young Guns, though. One of them won a title last year despite being injured.

Moisey didn't give up. Spencer Lee is just that good at turning guys. Iron grip, solid technique is very hard to beat.

AA'd as a sr too
Yep, then his sr yr he got 8th, so 2x AA.
The yr he got 2nd, he beat the stud from Iowa (cant believe im forgetting his name)
Spencer lee is back baby!
Dam Lee better get better on his feet or he aint gonna repeat.

That was 100% a pin in the first period blind refs smh
Moisey scores 2 points. Lee: and I took that personally
Nebraska Coach should have thrown the brick on that early escape (no call)... Lee is a beast on top...
That first takedown got Lee mad, lol!
I'm not computerized the phone you both guys are great
Illegal arm bar at 3:49, he lifts it to off the back...good job ref!
lee is clearly injured
Moisey thought he could fake that cut on spencer and catch him off guard😂
Didn’t end well for him
moisey was pinned in the first easily
lee kept getting the bar you can't let him just do that to u when on bottom
Easier said then done
Ok then you keep lee from throwing a bar
Did spencer lee win
Moisey looked better as a Freshman than as a Senior.
Becuase of injuries
I'm confused you from New Jersey and Pennsylvania
I almost broke my neck
Spencer Freakin Lee Rules
Poltergeist teammates be proud Gene Mills would be proud
He went FOR broke early
What was that at 5:26? Russian Roll gone wrong.
Gatorroll
I’m a psu fan but the kid was pinned
I'm a Clackamas Community College fan I agree as well
Bullshit. Kid was pinned at 4:18
Not getting that one right away or them not giving it was huge

Is it just me or did it look like lee let moisey get that second takedown on him
Yo I’m pretty sure Lee got knocked unconscious there

Why didn't Lee go for superior? Only gave a 3 point team lead, 4 is much better with 1 to go.
I was in zekes apartment at WVU. Absolutely disgusting lmao

Moisey has been such a disappointment.

Illegal chicken wing by Lee. You either go over on your back or get a dislocated shoulder.
To be fair thats kind of the point of the move.
