    Ian the best part of Guess Who's Back is Cheryl is back. Big choppers always worry me, always watch them closely when someone is flying one. Jeff in LA USA

    Defenitly true, way different in real life. The fear factor is high in real. Those blades are very intimidating😂

    Ha! When i saw the thumbnail of this video, i pretty much was sure it would be related to that 'someone' who flied 500X recently, haha. Nice to see you had to fly this one :) You are right, even simulator doesn't prepare for that intidimation factor. I actually flied mine on MSH Brain 2 unit, so i guess it made my setup process kinda easier. On other hand, Microbeast probably can be plugged to a computer too, so i don't know which one would be easier. I just watched videos about Brain 2 even before having a heli, and was able to use a program in a demo mode without actual unit. So all that made my setup simpler. Btw i can't believe you didn't fly it for 7 months, feels like it was recently.. or maybe it was because i was re-watching some of your Shorts, which probably were old already :)

      Yes watching your maiden flight made me decide to fly my 500X, yes definitely 7 months since I flew it last!! Gave it a good check over and lubricated all the bearings and pitch sliders!! Felt as smooth as silk, thanks for watching and commenting Herman 😀👍

      @cutefox8319 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@IansRCExploits Wow i wouldn't even think that it can require re-lubrication! But probably it's just extra cautions :) btw i already had my second flight and wow, what i can say,, i was more confident. I will post it as soon as will figure out some stuff.

      Hi Herman, no its more necessary maintenance!! And can help you spot potential issues early, if you can imagine the stress those Heli parts are under, I would definitely check after a few flights!! Glad you're enjoying your 500X 😀👍

      @@IansRCExploits I see :) well for now what i check is only if screws are tight, grips are tight and especially if ball link screws on the swashplate are on their places :) heard of stories how someone before flight noticed unscrewed ball link, they felt good that they did a pre-flight check! What exactly else should be checked? I guess you mean that bearings can get damaged? Can't it be checked by just manual moving to see if it's still smooth?

    • @IansRCExploits
      @IansRCExploits  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes bearings, drive belt for fraying any cracks or damage to blades etc
