Races around the island (or some of the gargantuan desert races) were fun as hell. Honestly not sure anything ever really matched the hilarity of this game. I always hoped they would follow this masterpiece up with the oft-promised GTA World with multiple locales, making it even bigger and crazier (and kind of unlimited in its expansion potential), yet here we are with the third generation of hardware, but the same title.
I played a race on the ps3 called "need for speed" it was a lap around the entire map, and after about 15 minutes running, in the end I even sweated with nervousness because it was very intense, and that soulwax radio marked me too much, walk across the map in big straights with an osiris, listening to soulwax
the background art is synced up to each individual track; some are even animated to fit the tempo, or match particular musical cues (drops, track reversals). impressive work 👏🏼

I usually stay away from fan mixes, but this one is fantastic. Transitions sound just like the main game. I think you and I have similar taste too, you picked almost my favorite soulwax tracks to add.
He's picked smart because of versions that were in Under the Covers, and probably also from As Heard On Radio Soulwax, which were my introduction waaaay back in 2006! I wish I was there when they did the Part Of The Weekend Never Dies tour... But the Dewaele brothers are just Gods in the industry!

I find with so many mixes there are a handful of songs I really like, a handful of transitions I really like. Often I want to skip to a part to hear what I want, then listen to something else. But this mix has bangers from start to finish, amazing transitions from start to finish. So good I'm still coming back to it for years!

deadmau5 had two songs in GTA IV on Electro-Choc, as well as his own radio station in GTA Chinatown Wars. IIRC Daft Punk was supposed to be on Non Stop Pop but got cut

man i've been listening to soulwax since the beginnings of gta v and also been a deadmau5 fan.
always felt odd that deadmau5, daft punk, etc. were never featured in-game.

deadmau5 had two songs in GTA IV on Electro-Choc, as well as his own radio station in GTA Chinatown Wars. IIRC Daft Punk was supposed to be on Non Stop Pop but got cut
