Luis Suarez is an unelievable finisher but not a technically gifted player. He is not good at dribbling and gets a lot of misses in terms of passes, first touch etc. I think his weapons are his finisher abilities and his work off the ball.

The reason why he is technically gifted, is because he has abilities that require excellent technique i.e his acrobatic volleys, his ability to weave in and out of tight spaces, his ability to bend free kicks like Beckham and so many other examples. I have never seen anyone else do that: running forward and being able to control a ball with the shoulder/upper chest while running and elude the goalkeeper in less than 2 meters. For me, Suarez is the third greatest player of this generation. Many people would contest Neymar, Lewandowski, Benzema, Zlatan or Iniesta but Suarez is the most complete CF I've seen in this generation. He is extremely skillful without being too flashy. When I was in my Chinese high school, Barcelona went to China play against Guangzhou football club. That was the first time I saw Suarez, and his volley that day was so impressive that I still remember that kick today. Suarez's volley is simply out of this world.

He could help any team with his class and he could go for any play or trick to defeat the defense by his own while Lewandowski more relies on teammates and is not known for his dribbling (though his touch is insane, as well). Coming from a Bayern and Liverpool Fan who watched both of them play every weekend. For me Suarez and Ibra have been the best strikes of the 21th century outside of R9.
This guy is a monster. He could/can make all kind of goals in a variety of a broad repertoire(Ajax,Liverpool,Barcelona and now Atletico). Many times coming back from an injury or sanction, being away for weeks and not even shooting penalties, could make more goals than all others competitors

I think his strength is mainly his versatility, which was highlighted in the good years between him and Messi where they used his versatility to the utmost; He is good at shooting from afar, hard to take off the ball, good acceleration, good at dribbling and also really good at taking the right position, as well as finishing from up close. Even though his acceleration is good, I would say his biggest weakness might be his speed overall, in a longer run you can see people start outrunning him a little too easily (even in his younger years too). One of the best strikers ever to grace the beautiful game. He lit every league and every team. I'm not a Liverpool fan at all but loved to watch their matches only for this man. He was simply mesmerizing and outstanding for Liverpool. He touched another level while in Barcelona. Though they had Messi and Neymar already this guy cemented his rightful place amongst them - MSN....a legendary troika. But his exits from Liverpool and Barcelona were a shame on the clubs part. Keeping his bouts of biting aside...he is one of the best footballers for generations 😊

For me, Suarez is the third greatest player of this generation. Many people would contest Neymar, Lewandowski, Benzema, Zlatan or Iniesta but Suarez is the most complete CF I've seen in this generation. He is extremely skillful without being too flashy. He has the vision for playmaking. He is great in tight spaces. He can score freekicks, volleys, overheads, long shots and even solos.
He had done everything for barca,now barca are thinking to get rid of him..this man deserve some respect and deserve to be a bar a legend too..

When I was in my Chinese high school, Barcelona went to China play against Guangzhou football club. That was the first time I saw Suarez, and his volley that day was so impressive that I still remember that kick today. Suarez's volley is simply out of this world.

He could help any team with his class and he could go for any play or trick to defeat the defense by his own while Lewandowski more relies on teammates and is not known for his dribbling (though his touch is insane, as well). Coming from a Bayern and Liverpool Fan who watched both of them play every weekend.

I think his strength is mainly his versatility, which was highlighted in the good years between him and Messi where they used his versatility to the utmost; He is good at shooting from afar, hard to take off the ball, good acceleration, good at dribbling and also really good at taking the right position, as well as finishing from up close.
Even though his acceleration is good, I would say his biggest weakness might be his speed overall, in a longer run you can see people start outrunning him a little too easily (even in his younger years too). Still a great player,
