I haven’t been to St Kitts in over 30 yrs. At the time, there was only 1 hotel; the Jack Tar. One of the best beaches was Friars Beach & a guy named Dudley would grill u the best burgers. I’m sure it’s totally built up now. But we still talk about Dudley who treated everyone at Friars beach like we were his guests. One day we will return.

I’ve been there and stayed Fr nine months during the quarantine era.. it was an experience I even drove while I was there. Yes I remember some of these places when I was there..

I live in St. Kitts, been here the past 6 months now. Salt plage is one of the coolest abandoned beach bars similar to turtle beach though, great shallow reef snorkeling and a cool rusted metal reck if you go directly to the left of a rock coming out of the water. Great night life if you stop by the frigate bay strip on a Friday night. Really turning into a fine island, can't wait to see what this tourist season brings. Stop by orange cat Charters if your looking to get a private water front view or just want to chat about the lovely island!

While living on the island of Anguilla, we would vacation in St. Kitts once a year for 8 years. Always stayed at the Marriott: very reasonable prices. Great island great people!

Wow! Thank you for this video. I think I found the spot in this video @2:50 on google maps. The west side of cockleshell bay. Are you able to drive up to that spot? Looks like it’s right next to the Marriott. Did you stay there?

We're going there for the first time in mid/late March and staying at the Marriott. What's the best way to get around...rental car, taxi, local transportation, personal driver/tour guide, etc??
Hello, I think rent a car is the best option. We have been hitchhiking all around, very easy to catch a ride :)

Agree! We loved exploring the island. Very smart to keep the Cruise Port isolated on the south end so traffic is not a nightmare. Great roads, very clean and great shops. Kitticians are awesome people❤
