Really nicely filmed and narrated. Gives me a good preview to my cruise in the future!

Great video, I really like your relaxed narration style. We are booked on a year tomorrow. Annoying that it’s the summer holidays, but that’s the joys of being married to a teacher! Thanks for the great tour.

Best tour on a ship ive seen concentrated on parts of the boat future passengers want to see and it's not about him trying to be the star of the tour

Great tour video of the ship, which will be a big help for when I sail on her this coming May. I would just like to ask you a quick question, what time of the day did you film the video?. I did hear you say good morning to one of the staff so taking it it was sometime in the morning. I noticed that when you walked past "The Quays" it was all shut so was that because it had finished serving breakfast and was getting prepared for serving lunch? or is it shut during port days?. Also What time of year were you on Arvia as you said it was at full compliment. I kind of chose to sail on her in May for 2 reasons, one it was a better deal for that time of year, and 2nd its after the easter holidays as well as the school holidays so hoping it will have less kids on there compared to say the 6 weeks school holidays. I know it is a family orientated cruise ship so not going to be kids free but would be nice to be a little quieter during my stay haha. Thanks again for a great video and an insight on whats on offer on such a great looking ship.

Hi Chris. We are on Arvia from 28th April 24 for 4 weeks so our paths may cross. In answer to your questions: 1) The video was filmed at 11:15 in port. The Quays was between breakfast and lunch so it would be opening on or by midday. I think it's open all the time on sea days. 2) I shot the video in April/May 2023. 3) There will still be children/teenagers on board in May but obviously, not so many. They tend to gather around the midships swimming pool so we just don't spend anytime there except to walk through. Personally, we just don't notice the kids and the majority are well behaved anyway. The quietest pool to sit around (if that's what you like to do) is the 'Adults Only) pool, deck 18 Forward. I hope you enjoy Arvia. We've spent more than 6 months on Iona (Arvia's sister ship) yet Arvia is our favourite which says something.
