- Here's our tour of an inside cabin on P&O Arvia.
This cabin is on Deck 4 and in this inside cabin review we share our thoughts about having a cabin on this deck and its location.
It's fair to say that this is a compact cabin but perfectly fit for purpose for two adults sharing.
This cabin has everything you need to enjoy a cruise at an affordable price. We paid £55 per person per day and when you think about everything that's included on a P&O cruise, that's pretty good.
This was a guaranteed inside cabin on Arvia cruise ship and so we did not choose the cabin number. Unfortunately, we would not recommend you to choose this cabin as it has crew areas on three sides. The noise was loud at times.
We would recommend Deck 4 cabins on P&O Cruises Arvia for the ease of getting on and off the ship during port days.

Thank you so much for the info. We are on that floor and was a bit concerned about not having a balcony but watching your review has put my mind at rest. I’m not worried about the noise as when I take out my hearing aids I will not hear anything!

We stayed in inside cabin 4647 which is only two away from yours and only had the rumbling late in the evening and very occasionally in the morning. Didn’t keep us awake and for the price paid I would not hesitate to book this area again. Great video.

Yes, it had its positives and negatives but I couldn’t grumble on the price. To choose our cabin would have been several £100s more! When we found out our cabin was on deck 4 the only feedback I could find online was that it was a quiet deck so I wanted to make sure people were aware of our experience. Great review. I have a dk 4 cabin booked for the wife any myself in July for 2 weeks. I think I will survive, but the wife may struggle in keeping it tidy! I'm disappointed by the crew only partying till 2am. Standards have dropped since I was an officer in p and o 😂🤣
Thank you, they clearly aren’t made of the same stuff these days! The cabin and the deck were fine, just our cabin location - but we took a risk. My mum and dad booked after us and got a better location on Deck 4 so it’s really lucky of the draw.
Hi, we came back from the Caribbean on Arvia in march, we chose a larger inside cabin which was lovely with a sofa etc we were also on deck 4 mid/forward I think the hospital was below us.

@@CruiseLifestyle Hi yes it was brilliant really quiet, I can get sea sick so always choose a cabin low and central.
Oh the lifts are a nightmare people get in a lift for one or two floors I don’t get that.
@@mirandacartwright9213 we had one day with bad weather (some upper decks/pools closed) but movement was minimal on Deck 4
@@mirandacartwright9213 we did try to use the stairs when we could. One day I did deck 4 to 18 - never again! 😂
We was on Iona on deck 5 about same position and had the same problem and found out it was dumpster bins being emptied including glass being tipped at 5am !! So my advice is don’t go on deck 4/5 inside cabins
That’s really good to know, thank you for sharing this. As soon as we found out our cabin number we were worried what was going to be next to us. The noise of glass being tipped at 5am must have been pretty annoying!
Great review I'm going on Arvia this Sunday for two weeks. Do they let you carry on you hand luggage. I will have a suitcase, plus rucksack and a carry on.(Plane size). I will also be on deck 4 so hopefully have peace.
Have a great time, you can definitely carry on your hand luggage if you wish, especially if there’s stuff you’ll need the first day.

We had bad weather on our return to Southampton and Arvia handled it very well. Probably the best. We never had an issue with getting a lift to the higher decks, it just stops on every deck on the way up!

It does, there’s a control panel on the wall next to the bathroom to control the temperature in your room.

Im on deck 4 this Saturday going to Norway i dont think noise will be an issue for me once im asleep i stay asleep 😂

Hi i just came across your video ,i am on the arvia for the carribean in nov with a lot a family i have one of these cabins for myself...could you tell me is there a recommended deck for inside cabins for minimum motion .cheers ..and thanks again for the info this will be my first 🛳 🚢 😅
The good news is that Arvia is big enough so there’s minimal motion but the lower decks definitely have less motion. We had one day of rough seas and it was much less on Deck 4 than the upper decks.

When I went on ijona there was No1 in the cinemas probs because film was rubbish.
The films being screened are around 6 months after cinema release at least but I suppose good for anyone who didn’t catch them

Far too small !
It is on the small side and is admittedly the smallest type of cabin on Arvia. This makes it an affordable option for those who don’t plan to spend much time in their cabin.
