    Many thanks for this. Reminded me how delighted i am with my cabin. I'm going on my first cruise solo to the Carribean next winter, and I'm hoping to miss the school rush! 😅 Any tips gratefully received.

      Glad you found the video useful. I’ve sure you’ll have a great time. My main tip on Arvia would be to book any speciality restaurants you want to try (and regular restaurants) before the cruise (as I recall the pre-bookings open 2 weeks before sailing date). I say this because it makes it easier to go straight to your table every night rather than having to physically queue or join a virtual queue. It’s also worth booking any entertainment you’re keen to see in advance too. Having said that, some of the entertainment can only be booked once onboard, and for that I recommend booking on the app the day that you get onboard (or get the app support staff in the atrium to sort it for you). This is because some of the entertainment gets heavily booked up early in the cruise and therefore it’s best to book on day 1 to get what you’re keen to see. Hope this helps

    I recently cruised on Arcadia, and it's so interesting that they've refurbished the suites on there to be in the style of these newer ships.
    I think all of the cabins on this ship class are absolutely beautiful - they come across so premium!

    Thanks, I’m going on a cruise in a few months and I’m happy to have booked a scenic suite for myself. I’m rather looking forward to spending half my time in my room and the other half by the quietest pool I can find…😌

      @@CruiseRight I forgot to mention it’s my first cruise. I’m as apprehensive as I am excited..

      That’s definitely exciting to be going on your first cruise! If there’s one tip I always like to share with first time cruisers it’s to check out as much of the ship as you possibly can as early as possible in to the cruise. It helps you get your bearings and see what look like the best places for you to spend your time during the cruise. Every time I go on a new ship I do this - but I always recommend taking a lift to the top deck and then working your way down each deck using the stairs (cruise ship lifts can get busy so I use them to go up but not down, unless you need to use the lift.) On Arvia you can check out decks 16, 17, 18, 19 and then 6, 7, 8 as these are where are all the public spaces are.
      On Arvia I found the pools all got fairly busy but the quietest (and I use that term lightly) is usually the Beachcomber toward the front of the ship. If it’s a full cruise then the top decks can get very busy and when this happened I often went to the Promenade deck 8 which wraps around the entire ship and has lots of seating, sunbeds and a few hot tubs dotted around, so that could be a good place to try. The promenade deck also has a nice bar (the Sunset bar on the back of the ship) which is great for taking in the views. Hope this helps!

      @@CruiseRight Thank you…it’d seem I’ve over-simplified things in my head…something I’m want to do when I’m nervous about something upcoming. So thanks for the heads up…really. I’m taking it all on board (no pun intended).
      Conceding I’m quite more apprehensive than excited. And I think your suggestions are wise and kindly given, and I’ll definitely be bearing those things in mind in the early hours of my boarding ship. 😊😉

    Is it possible for a family of 4 to fit comfortably in any of these rooms?

    • @CruiseRight
      @CruiseRight  ปีที่แล้ว

      In a suite no problem, but other than that I’d personally say even a mini-suite is pushing it as it’s tight in the bedroom space and just has the extra conservatory section with the L-shaped sofa, although that section would help to some extent. Other than that a deluxe balcony might be the only other option as it has a bit more square footage than a standard balcony. I wouldn’t risk a standard balcony or standard inside as they’d be feasible for a family of 3 but not for 4. Hope this helps!

    Show balcony cabin front (pointy end) tiny entrance door (kitchen cupboard size) balcony looks out onto Glass dirty wall on gangway side no view for you but plenty for people looking into your cabin. Worst on 30 cruises

    With the inside cabin can it accommodate 2 adults and 2 kids with the sofa turning into a double bed?

    • @CruiseRight
      @CruiseRight  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The inside cabin you see in the video is just a single sofa bed (they sleep across the sofa rather than it extending out to make a double). But they do also have insides for 4 people with the main beds, single sofa bed and a pull down bed from the ceiling, so you can get 2 kids in that way

    • @paulsaunders2358
      @paulsaunders2358 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for your help, do you know where to the pull down bed is placed, above the sofa I guess?

      Can’t seem to find anything online with a video / picture of how this is set up.

    • @CruiseRight
      @CruiseRight  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think it is above the sofa. I just found this footage on TH-cam from Iona (which has pretty much identical cabins as it’s a sister ship to Arvia) and although it doesn’t appear to be a sofa underneath, this is what you could expect. Hope it helps th-cam.com/video/ScNm0vhoV-s/w-d-xo.htmlsi=BUtS67sPO4zmAt1p

    Why was an accessible room missing from this video 😡😡😡

    • @CruiseRight
      @CruiseRight  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for pointing this out. It was an oversight on my part, but I’ll remedy that in the future. Ultimately, it all depends on what rooms are free for me to film at the time but I’ll make sure I attempt to find accessible ones too going forward

    Cruised on Arvia in May 23. Not impressed. It's like the ship is too big for P&0's systems to cope with. Terrible queues for every meal. Excursions overbooked. Cabin cleaning missed. Insufficient busses to get back to the ship (departure delayed). Ship too big to use certain ports.

    Just come off the Arvia , never again massively over crowded and queues for everything ( even the toilets) and yes the room is nice but the children running up and down the corridors outside the rooms till 1am really prevents you from getting to sleep

      @CruiseRight  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It doesn’t surprise me to hear this. Our cruise didn’t have many children but the queues sound very familiar

      On cruises, I always prefer to head back to the cabin to use the bathroom. 😅
