I love the drone fly-throughs! Brilliant way to showcase the interior. I've been to Sindhu about a dozen times but it looks like the menu has been refreshed... so now I'm going to have to go another dozen times more. Them's the breaks!
Iona is simply stunning. We enjoyed our cruise on her so much when we went to Norway in late July 2022 (G224). We booked a conservatory mini-suite and so benefited from priority boarding, lunch, Champagne and chocolates in our cabin. There's so much to do and enjoy. The thermal suite, while at a not inconsiderable cost is amazing and well worth a visit. Bar prices are comparable with onshore British pub prices. The Skydome offers an alternative to the West end quality shows in the theatre. the Quays is fun and quality. We particularly enjoyed Salt line and vinegar for top notch fish and chips.
This was the best ship I have EVERY been on!The staff were lovely and the food was 🤩.It was even better at Christmas as they had so much on for the children aka me.The kids club was amazing and I really enjoyed it!If you ever go on this ship trust me TRY THE FISH AND CHIPS!! 5 Stars for me 😊
Saw this on trust pilot shame on you p and o P&O Cruises Refusal of boarding My wife and I were booked on the Ventura with my son and family. We checked in on line as soon as it was available and I filled in our passport details as requested. We then printed off our boarding passes and luggage labels. I filled in the “On-board needs questionnaire” for assistance with boarding, as my wife is an occasional wheelchair user. On arrival at the terminal we had to wait for assistance, so the rest of the party were ahead of us. We registered the wheelchair, but at the next desk, we were asked to move to an isolated part of the embarkation lounge, as there was a problem with our passports. We were told the Date of Issue of both passports made our passport out of date and we were denied access to the cruise, even though our passports still had at least 8 months before the expiry date at the end of the cruise. We also still had valid boarding passes issued by P&O when we checked in on line with the requested details. We were then told that we had to make our own way home, at our own expense as they had no responsibility towards us. We were then abandoned, my wife in her wheelchair, and told to wait for our luggage. Two hours later we were told our luggage was not available and they would contact us when it would be available. We were then asked to leave the terminal. This was now about 17.00 the eve before Good Friday stuck in the terminal. At about 14.00 hrs I phoned my son, who, by now was on board, to tell him what had happened. He went to the on board customer service and they assured him that P&O would ensure we got home safely. They lied to him as we were left to our own devices! We live about 250 miles north of Southampton. P&O said it was our responsibility to ensure that Passports and visas were valid, even though they have known about this issue since Brexit and have chosen not to update their online booking requirements. We were given a preprinted sheet explaining it was our fault. There were about 8 passengers, in the same position as us, who were refused boarding. This must have been going on since Brexit, yet P&O have chosen to do nothing about it. Their Duty of care is nonexistent, and their actions are deplorable. The ABTA code states it is the responsibility of the company to keep passengers aware of any passport and visa changes the are required. They do not.
Don't trust peoples complaints on Trust Pilot, they are always fabricated. There was an issue with their passports and they were refused access. Nothing more to discuss, its border control that deals with the passports anyway, not even P&O, which makes the whole thing laughable.
Was on her in November. Keel & Cow was lovely. Olive Grove not bad. The Quays was disappointing with hook line & vinegar, boardwalk diner and fusion doing the same couple of dishes every day. Hoped for more choice! I Definitely struggled in the buffet, far too many fish and seafood dishes which I can’t eat. Came back one evening with an empty plate. Just nothing I could eat. Hoping it’s just a Covid thing and buffet choice will improve in time..

As opulent a setting as you could imagine, rich and handsome beyond anything I have ever seen on a ship... yet when it came to serving a fairly run-of-the-mill dish: 'Fish n' Chips', we see the paying guests will be limited to around a niggardly eight and a half - GIRDER sized - chips, grudgingly provided, in a metal basket. The fish also, was of a size unlikely to cause much stomach discomfort. All that hard work and they can't follow through on something as basic as a good tuck' in', not for me I'm afraid; But sadly not unknown in even the best eating places.

@@jim6647 Thanks Jim, every time I think about the passport my stomach does somersaults, I phoned them they said it was being looked at and its at Liverpool, I am in London,, agree about the ships they are hideous, like blocks of ugly flats on container ships, Aurora harks back to the time of elegance, artistic perfection, not the ugly brown interiors that abound now, atriums like shopping malls, I am quite sure they are getting so huge that one day we shall see another Titanic disaster, they are too top heavy, these architects egos, cram more people in we can make tons more money...I am getting more like Victor Meldrew every day !!! take care
It would be a good idea to make adverts and groups of Asians families to attend these cruises 7 day 10 day and 14 days. The Asians should be split up by religion groups to avoid fights and maintain high caste orders. And it would be good to even arrange family meeting games with Bollywood themed programs. Marriage linkups and introductions would be good enticements for the family’s. The entire industry could be thriving again very soon. Direct marketing through internet and Asian radio and tv Channels would be recommended. A quick recovery to the industry can be expected with a fantastic host of fun and laughter along the entire cruise. Through connections it might be recommended to even produce a Bollywood romantic film to start the process of inviting Asians customers to be encouraged on these trips. 🤴🏽🕉🔺➕
