Hello from the future, 11 January 2024. 14 years later, and this is still one of my favourite childhood games. I've replayed and beat the 1st and 2nd game back in June - December 2021. I spent 60 hours to complete the 2nd game, and it was so worth it

@LennoxValentine_ Nice! I played FF-X at my friend John's house in 2017, since he's a PlayStation person (I grew up with Xbox kek)
But yes, 2011 was when I discovered the first FF13 and I was pretty hyped for FF13-2 as a 12/13 year old. 3rd game, I never finished, because it felt empty and we barely see our main characters

This is such a nice little remix of the battle theme. The shifts in notation and rhythm are sometimes so subtle, but it makes an incredible difference!

Had a dream about this song even though I have NO recent involvement or remembering of Lightning or FFXIII. Well, it was the battle theme and I was Lightning fighting in a video game battle arena against Noctis who was currently winning. I wielded this cool curved Sabre and charged at him, then he casted an orange spell ball but I dodged it, and then I hit him back with a green spell ball that went a long distance that Noctis couldn’t dodge and then I won, did like a soccer player victory run like when he kicks a goal, and then I woke up :)
