The actor playing Isak was 17 while filming, it still blows my mind how good he is. After Skam i wached several of his projects, other shows, theater… and still can’t believe how talented he is at his age. Pure talent.
Tarjei is a wonderful actor..he can play anything being it Film, TV and Theatre...I also think Edvin will go far..they are both amazing actors..Edvin was as old as Tarjei was in Skam, but incredible...❤

I don't think my interest would have peaked as much if both shows featured older characters or older actors. 17 is such an awkward age, maybe the most vulnerable time in our life with figuring stuff out and trying to understand this grown-up life while still feeling like a kid at times. It's a time we all remember being full of emotions and confusion and that's why we can relate to it so much. :)

It would have been better first Skam then YR..they are both brilliant but Skam is slower..YR only had 6 episodes, so things went quicker..but you cant compare and Skam in my opinion inspired shows like YR . I just love both so much❤
They are both the best and most realistic shows until today..and yes, you cant compare anyway.. Skam ended in 2017 and YR is young and refreshing. One thing is obvious to me and that is that Woman have made and directed. They are both beautifully done.
One thing I love about Skam is the symbolism. Follow Isak's development with his problem with his locker. First(when he is closeted) it is stuffed and he tries to close it, but need a girl, Vilde, to help him. But he doesn't even look at her. Then when he wants to open it, it's stuck. But who comes along and help him... Also if you have seen Romeo+Julie you'll notice many references to it through out this season. When Even is walking across the school yard and Isak is watching dreamily is one..
isak and even definitely have a slow burn type relationship but it is soo worth it! their development is amazing and that’s what makes this season as good as it is. so glad to see you guys are enjoying it

They are not forcing the kiss between Isak and Even, and I really like that. Yes Isak is more open and himself around Even. I really like your laughs and enthusiasm, and when you try to predict stuff. Yeah Eskild is the gay flatmate, and I expected that kind of reaction, when you first saw Sonja. 😆
Sonya only has a couple of meaningful scenes. I was impressed with Isak's friends after he shared his sexuality with them. Unlike Young Royals the series ends upbeat. In season 4 Isak and Evan move in together. They continue to be all over themselves.
An important aspect to know when watching Skam seasons is that whoever is the main character is whose eyes we see the the other characters through. Which is why Emma might seem extra pushy and weird 😅 Isak is annoyed by her
eskild found isak drunk in the gay quarter of oslo at the end of the previous season and was hiding him in the apartment basement because isak didn't want to go home - and let him move in when the girl (noora) living in this room left to go to london. so eskild knows he is just trying to ease him into it.

Something important in this story are the Romeo and Juliet references, so yeah it's important that isak was watching that movie so concentrated ;) cant wait till you watch the next episode you will love it :D

Yes Isaks and Evens relationship is definitely a slow burn, but I love all the intimacy and tension that slowly builds between them, I also thought another awesome little fact was that the girl who plays Evens girlfriend in SKAM is also in Ragnarok as well she plays Saxa Jutel in the show can’t wait for Episode 3 reactions 🥰
i know everyone is saying to watch the season 3 of other versions - which i totally agree with but i think it would also be cool to see you guys watch season 4 of this version as well since you love sana so much! that season centers around her and isak & even make some appearances too :)
Absolutely love that you react to Skam! One thing good to know is that this was published in real-time. And the weekday and time before every scene was the day and time we godt that clip. So this season was released clip by clip over 10 weeks. But the ones that did not follow it in real-time would watch it on television every Friday. And then they got it the way you watching it. But at the kind of blog it was posted on internet we also could follow their Instagram accounts, and pictures where posted there, and kind of telling us a bit more about that was happening in their lives. And of course we also got the chat log between the seasons main character and that person's friends and closest family, in this season of course true Isak's perspectives. Really hope you like this season so well that you will decide to see the three more seasons in this show. Everyone is so amazing and authentic!!!❤ And the Skamily is a beautiful family to be a part of!!!❤
I remember how we were waiting for a clip or a post on Insta, and then when we discovered something and everyone stop what they were doing to watch the clip/insta or chat. I am still following the character on Insta, Isak still have 436 K followers, that is insane.
You should also watch Skam Belgium and France after this one. All of the different remakes have different vibes about this show. It makes you feel like u watch a different story. I am so happy about it and thank u so much❤️

I love the heart eyes 😍 in this episode! I think you might have been talking and missed it, but Isak looked up the director that Even mentioned he likes in the interview video, and saw that he had directed the Leo Decaprio version of Romeo + Juliet, so that’s why he was watching it. I also think he joined Grindr to try to find Even, since he doesn’t seem to be on any other social media. He remembered what Eskild said about the signs someone is gay - talking to strangers about sucking **** (remember the joke Even made about Vilde’s love game last episode), and having a Grindr account. Eskild was specifically referring to the guy he was chatting with, but Isak is applying all that to Even. Keep watching- stuff happens!
This, this, all this. This season is really very `blink and you`ll miss it`. I discovered so much rewatching season 3 and still do. Sometimes it`s just a throwaway line in the dialogue that later has you return and go `How could I have missed this?’…

I loved every episode of Season 3 for their own specific reasons. The party scene in Ep3 with the Robyn song is just iconic. Giving me goosebumps just thinking about it. ❤️

Sorry for making this a seperate post, but please please, include a reaction to the trailer for Skam S3 in your next or upcoming reactions!!! It is absolutely groundbreaking, and I'd love to see your take on it. Further I would like to say, as a newb to Skam myself, you should definitely react to S4, that last season was so incredibly amazing, I can't even. We see a lot of recurring faces, so don't worry if it's not strictly LGBT+.... it's so worth it. There's more Even and Isak in there to keep us grounded. Wouldn't have thought to be so in love with a series after finishing Young Royals, but Skam is absolutely incredible. And please do be aware, there is lots of potential for S3 to be spoiled with a major plot twist coming up, so be careful while reading the comments. I love this show and Young Royals so much, it's really a rollercoaster with both of them and I'm here for it. Can't wait for your next reactions.
Absolutely agree! That trailer is really something else. Did you know that Julie Andem said that it was inspired by some of the lyrics to the Penetrators 2016 song that was recorded for the show to use as William's bus song in earlier seasons? And it was sung by the guy who plays Isak. The line from the song that inspired the trailer was filthy, though, so I won’t write it here. But if you have seen the trailer, you can probably imagine!

Another fact is that the chapters were passed at the time that appears there, for example Monday 8 am and Wednesday 2pm, it was so that people were attentive. I love the heart eyes 😍 in this episode! I think you might have been talking and missed it, but Isak looked up the director that Even mentioned he likes in the interview video, and saw that he had directed the Leo Decaprio version of Romeo + Juliet, so that’s why he was watching it. I also think he joined Grindr to try to find Even, since he doesn’t seem to be on any other social media. He remembered what Eskild said about the signs someone is gay - talking to strangers about sucking **** (remember the joke Even made about Vilde’s love game last episode), and having a Grindr account. Eskild was specifically referring to the guy he was chatting with, but Isak is applying all that to Even. Keep watching- stuff happens!
This, this, all this. This season is really very `blink and you`ll miss it`. I discovered so much rewatching season 3 and still do. Sometimes it`s just a throwaway line in the dialogue that later has you return and go `How could I have missed this?’…

I loved every episode of Season 3 for their own specific reasons. The party scene in Ep3 with the Robyn song is just iconic. Giving me goosebumps just thinking about it. ❤️

Sorry for making this a seperate post, but please please, include a reaction to the trailer for Skam S3 in your next or upcoming reactions!!! It is absolutely groundbreaking, and I'd love to see your take on it. Further I would like to say, as a newb to Skam myself, you should definitely react to S4, that last season was so incredibly amazing, I can't even. We see a lot of recurring faces, so don't worry if it's not strictly LGBT+.... it's so worth it. There's more Even and Isak in there to keep us grounded. Wouldn't have thought to be so in love with a series after finishing Young Royals, but Skam is absolutely incredible. And please do be aware, there is lots of potential for S3 to be spoiled with a major plot twist coming up, so be careful while reading the comments. I love this show and Young Royals so much, it's really a rollercoaster with both of them and I'm here for it. Can't wait for your next reactions.
Absolutely agree! That trailer is really something else. Did you know that Julie Andem said that it was inspired by some of the lyrics to the Penetrators 2016 song that was recorded for the show to use as William's bus song in earlier seasons? And it was sung by the guy who plays Isak. The line from the song that inspired the trailer was filthy, though, so I won’t write it here. But if you have seen the trailer, you can probably imagine!

Fun fact: when they talk about kardemomme they were actually talking about waffles. Even asks Isak if it’s What’s needed to make it tast good, and Isak confirms. This was improvised, but they cut parts of it so it sounds as if they put «kardemomme» on the toast 😬😄
