    This is so beautiful... I entered the hard work zone this year and I'll be stuck for a very long time... This is my first year going to Oklahoma for the Morgan Grand National & World Championship Horse show, and eventually I will go all breed... I'm pushing myself so hard, and it won't stop... Just wait, you'll see me doing victory passes at the NHS Good Hands Finals, the USEF Saddle Seat Medal, and the open breed UPHA Challenge Cup Finals, and then in the Saddle Seat World Cup. I'll do it all on a morgan, a morgan I've worked hard to bond with and learn about. I can do it, I can do anything if I work hard. Great Video! These things help me so much.

    Too bad horses have to suffer for "our" dreams. The amount of pain inflicted on those animals in this video alone is revolting.

    • @ClassySkylar

      but these are the accidents. yeah, I've been in a few accidents myself. but not because I CHOSE to get hurt. I would NEVER, *EVER* intentionally put my horses in danger for a dream. they're my partners and without them I wouldn't be where I am today, as both a rider and a person. sometimes accidents can't be helped, just like car accidents. but that doesn't stop people from driving, does it? no, not usually. we would never intentionally put our partners in danger.

      Nataliya Klymenko Jesus crist there are to many people saying this sport is "abusive, stupid and not even a sport" well how would you like to get on an animal 7 times your size that weighs 1,200 pounds or more, trust it even though it speaks a different language, communicate by the way you sit and the position of your legs, fall off 6 feet from the ground and still get back on? Can you handle the adrenaline? Football players sprain muscles, gymnasts break bones but we, we equestrians risk our whole lives for an animal that can kill us with one move. So what do you think now??

    • @nat2901
      @nat2901 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      And how would you like for someone to come up to you, thrust a painful metal device in your mouth, vault on your back and force you to run around in circles, and if you refused, beat the hell out of you? There is a reason equestrian sports are so dangerous, while gymnasts, and football players know exactly what they sign up for and chose to participate in the sport, horses don't. Horses are forced, intimidated and bullied into it. The horse either submits, or is broken, or labeled dangerous if its sense of dignity and freedom is too strong, and is of course killed. But even a horse that submits is never 100% safe, because it is a slave and you are its slaver, and as history shows, sooner or later, slaves rebel.

      Do you have your info from movies? I am not saying that horse abuse is not there but its the same for humans. Like children abuse. We teach the horse how to do these things and sometimes like jumping the horse knows how to do it and finds it fun. We also when teaching them this and that teach them the right form. Horse riding is always evolving to be better for the horse. It is not like it once was where it was found pretty to force the horse to carry their heads high which makes the back go down and as a result the horses back doesn't stay healthy as long. There are also rules of how to keep a horse. The boxes have to be big enough, they have to always have water and etc. I dont know that much about how it is in other countries but in my country the horses have to at least have 1 hour outside a day unless the weather is that bad so it hinders it.
      I hope this was good info for you and you will leave us with our sport and horses alone and not go to videos just to say bad stuff about us. :)
      (btw. sorry if there are spelling mistakes)

      Do you know why doing circles and other exercises helps the horse? it helps giving the horse balance on both sides and it builds the horses muscle. Also I think if riders can they would do regular rides outside. And a training of a horse is done with the most variety as possible. And one crucial thing you seem to miss is what is there supposed to be done to horses? Should we just kill them all? so the wont be "abused"? Its not like they can live in the wild 1) because they have been living like this for centuries and probaply couldn't live there now 2) because there is no space for them. Humans have already taken over most of the places they could possibly live.
      And if we should just let them live on fields or paddocks they would get fat and that isnt really healthy for them. Due to horses nature lack of exercise would also be a problem. The little they would play outside wouldnt be enough.
      Also i have said this before but horses dont hate this and they are fast at learning. The way i see it horses rally enjoy learning and working with people. But of course if they are treated badly that is a real problem

    This clip is selling a commercial religion, a believe, equestrian myths, which are more lies.
    1. soft rider's hands,
    2. whips, crops, spurs, metal bits don't generate pain,
    3. equestrians love their horses,
    4. equestrians like horses
    5. the magical bond between equestrians and their horses,
    6. horse skin less sensitive than human skin,
    7. equestrian is a sport,
    8. riders are treating their horses better than themselves - look for clips of Christine Wels, a former German national dressage team member
    9. equestrian organisations are forbidding horse abuse and abusive training methods
    Most of them have not enough phantasy and not enough intelligence to invent riding new. It is more comfortable to repeat all the boring bullshit of life style events like shows, competitions, fox hunts over and over and over again and again and again. Many of them are not even able to understand that keeping herd and flight animals in stable boxes or even tied up in a barn cannot be the paradise. Many horses are living their whole life between boredom in a jails in incommunicado and painful labour under a violent rider, who is believing in the biggest mindfuck ever of a single objective real truth or realities.
    Riding knows many truths - the ones in the saddle and the ones under the saddle and the tow in and under the saddle will never match.

      Bernd Horsch go take your opinion somewhere else and how dare you basically accuse all equestrians of abusing horses. Byeee

    • @abbikyffin7390
      @abbikyffin7390 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I am going to say this. Get your facts straight before accusing us of "abusing our horses." Our horses would not do what we ask them to do if they didn't want to do it. Believe me I know, I've had first hand experience. Bits, Spurs and whips are not cruel unless used incorrectly. Please before commenting check your facts because otherwise you look like a complete and utter idiot.

    • @jessiesimp6303
      @jessiesimp6303 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Here is my opinion on this, I am a horse rider. I love horses and I have a close bond with one at my stables. But, using a crop/whip is fairly painful for a horse. A horse has highly sensitive skin, which is higher then human skin. I can imagine where this person is getting their thoughts from. But, I realise that there are SOME riders that do takepart in abusing horses, that's horrible and most equestrians don't welcome them into our community.
      With bits, people have different opinions. My opinion is this, for beginner riders. I would recommend not using a bit, I understand that it's easier to control the horse. But, the way people pull the bit with the reins, it creates tension and pain for the horse. Be an experienced rider to use a bit.
      In conclusion, you can use a crop/whip only if you LIGHTLY tap it against the horses stomach or back. And bits are okay for some people, but not all.
      Not all riders abuse their horses.

    What a stupid sport, making horses jump over poles and posts... History, tradition, etc etc... Still a bunch of tarted up asinine people making beautiful creatures jump over poles and posts. And guess what, you riding the horse while it does that doesn't make you amazing. It just make you the person who was on the horse when you made it do that-

    • @XxXBabyButtonsXxX
      @XxXBabyButtonsXxX  10 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      it really inst a stupid sport. Its a sport of skill but i wouldnt expect a judgmental idiot like you to understand. You have an opinion, fair enough but that does not give you the right to slate other peoples sport. Dont like the sport, then grow a pair and deal with it.You dont have to watch it.

    • @199diesel
      @199diesel 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well this judgmental idiot gives more to animal charities then you probably do. Not sure how judgmental that really makes me. They make horses jump over poles. Is there any way you can rearrange that in a way that make this anything more then making horses jump over poles ? And when they fall and impale themselves, I suppose thats all part of the sport. Your the idiot.

    • @DragonFire8745

      Have you even ever riden a horse before? It may look easy but it certainly isnt. You have to sit the right way, keep your feet in the right position and so much more. Oh and don't forget about giving the horse the right signal to do this or that. I would love to see none horse people try to ride a horse and make them do what they want. Easy doesn't belong in the sport of equestrianism. It is hard work, sweat, tears, victory, and so much more. I think foot ball is a ridiculous sport but I don't go around bashing on it and saying how "stupid" it is. That's because I respect others views and opinions of the sports they like. If you don't like equestrianism then move on from the video and go watch a video of something you do like.

      Shut the hell up because once you have had a stiruupless lesson of trotting and cantering the fact that horse riding is physically demading will get through your *THICK* head. Try jumping even 80cm without falling off. Or do a dance with an animal that you can only communicate with your legs and hands.

    • @InfinitiTackStudios
      @InfinitiTackStudios 10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ***** easy is not in the vocab of a equestrian.

  • @199diesel
    @199diesel 10 ปีที่แล้ว

    Allison delle- No I have never ridden a horse. I grew up differently then you did in France. I grew up playing the sport of soccer. And I'd like just say this : About " communicating with horses " ... Stalin and Hitler dragged hundreds of thousands of horses through the mud to their deaths... You communicate with horses when you make them jump over poles.
    You just do it in a different way. I believe, that an animal is not a sport no matter how you communicate with it. And 500 years from now if anything still stands, the horse will be extinct and images of people like you riding them at all will be the laughingstock of whatever may come of us.
