a few years ago I broke my back in two places, fractured four ribs, cracked my skull, and had to get pins put in both my knees after a bad fall. sometimes i wonder why i was crazy enough to get back in the saddle, to keep on riding instead of putting all of this on the back burner... and it's videos like these, people like you who love this sport, this passion, as much as i do, that reminds me why. it doesn't matter how hard i fall, or how much i mess up and make the same mistakes over and over; what matters is sticking it out no matter what because this life, this crazy stupid horse loving life that i decided from a really young age that i was never gonna leave, is the one thing that i can show people that it doesn't matter how small i am, i'm still a goddamn winner and i'm never gonna quit until the day i die. thank you so much for making this video. i keep coming back on the days where my whole body is aching and it reminds me why i keep on doing this job: it's my entire life. so yeah, thank you.
This is absolutely amazing. I literally cried watching this. "and then suddenly as the old saying goes, we've got ourselves a game" This is still favourite video years later x
"Here's the thing that makes life so interesting, the theory of evolution claims only the strong shall survive, maybe so, maybe so, but the theory of competition says just because they're the strong doesn't mean they can't get they're assess kicked, that's right, see what every long shot come from behind underdog will tell you is this ; The other guy may in fact be the favourite, the odds may be stacked against you, fair enough, but what the odds don't know is this isn't a math test, this is a completely different kind of test, one where passion has a funny way of trumping logic, so before you step up to the starting line, before the whistle blows and the clock starts ticking, just remember out here the results don't always add up, no matter what they stats may say, and the experts may think and the commentators may predict, when the race is on all bets are off, don't be surprised if somebody's decides to flip the script and take a pass on yelling uncle, and then suddenly as the old saying goes "we got ourselves a game".
I watch this every time before my iea shows, I’m so grateful to be an equestrian. You learn a lot from it, you learn what being scared really feels like, what happiness is when you succeed, and what it feels like to succeed. You learn teamwork, and trust. It’s truly hard to be an equestrian, but when you are one there’s no regrets that come with it.
i watch this every night before i compete, this weekend ive been doing a 3 day show, ive got first and seconds everytime so far thanks to this, ive left my friends and the parties to do this. this video id really good, whenever it says "we've got ourselves a game" tears always come to my eyes, i just wanna say to pocozeph, even though you probally wont see this, thank you, good job well done :) xx
I love this, so true, I went to Pony Finals and I was an underdog after the first day i was standing 62 out of 79. The day of my Over Fences and rode my heart out and got 10th O/F and 19th overall! I moved up over 40 spots! You may be an underdog but as long as you have the drive and passion and want it more than anything you can achieve your dreams:)
This is INSANE!! I watched this, and I wanted to cry, this is an amazing and so inspirational!! It may be hard but I love it, and its who I am!! I am so glad I can share this amazing sport with ALL of you amazing Equestrians.
This is my favorite video ever. I watch it every single night - I kid you not - to keep my confidence up. To motivate me to not back up, and to not back down.

This is my friend Grace: hi Hannah what sport do you do ? Me: I do horse riding Grace : that's not a sport Me: have you ever fell 8 feet ? Have you trusted someone with all your life? 😠
Love it. I leave for an "A" show in the morning. Itll be my new horses first ever time to show, and our first show as a team. So this is exactly the extra "Bring It" that i needed to carry with me into our first debut as a team. Brilliant video! -Respect, A. & Cleave :)
Tha survival of tha fittest, is not granted to tha strongest, but it is granted to those that have tha ability to change. This is how we improve ourselves, by bein' humble and realizing we don't know everything, and no1 else does, either. By lookin' beyond what is "so far", and the willingness to take a chance on what others will claim is a failure. By seeing what may be tha common flavor of tha day, and yer realization that it is wrong, and tha willingness to go against that "flavor". c):~)
I'd love to know how you made this video because I'm challenging myself this summer to make a really cool video with me and my horse and it all started with my old favorite song. I'd just like to know how you put all of the clips together. LOOKS AMAZING!
This is wonderful- Love the music, love the pictures and the comments on the video are great! Well done- I admire you for doing such a great job- How do you make these videos? :) xx
you make AMAZING videos, you seriously should think about a apply for a job to make videos, but i really wanted to say is that when my horse flipped over on top of me, and i broke my neck 3 ribs, and my horse died, i would not get on a horses back no matter what for 3 years, but when i watched your video, i looked out my widow and saw my new horse i went out there and rode for 8 hours, thank you so much, you helped me through really hard times, and im not kidding, i mean this, THANK YOU!!!
It’s hard. You get there only to be greeted by flying hooves and a horse the other side of his paddock. You finally catch him and bring him his feed only to be thrown a side unwanted. Ears back anytime you come near. You groom him but get squished between him and the stable wall, no consideration for your space. After trying to pick out his feet, you get kicked. He won’t let you get the bit it. He tries to wattyiu alive when you tighten his girth. He skittles away from the mountain block so you can’t get on. He nicks and tears and spins and bolts until you are on the ground. But you are patient and you learn. You learn his quirks, you learn his weaknesses, you learn what’s makes him happy. And he learns. He leans that you love him, that you respect him, that you won’t harm him, that he can trust you, that he should love you

Even hunt seat riding is extraordinarily difficult ........and it is not even the hardest thing you can do on a horse!!!!
Ikr! That shows that equestrianism is hard, no matter what discipline. :)

I watch this video every time before I show
It’s hard. You get there only to be greeted by flying hooves and a horse the other side of his paddock. You finally catch him and bring him his feed only to be thrown a side unwanted.
