    There’s another TH-cam channel that has three pros doing 55 bodywork full time with a spray booth in a dedicated shop, and your work looks just as awesome.
    Iam seriously blown away with what you are doing,……..
    In your garage!
    Pure talent!

    Looks good. Finish it and enjoy it before the weather gets cold then get the wife's car running for her.

    I’m definitely going with a cold air induction on my 55, going to see if I can run dual 3 or 4 inch. I think your mod on the original air cleaner is AWESOME!!!

    Even with a 327 the stock radiator and a fabricated shroud my 56 ran pretty hot. I don't think they even had a shroud when new but they also just had a 265. The 400 was worse of course. I never got it to run cool until I did it about like yours with a aluminum radiator and a electric fan.
    Cool air to the carb makes a noticeable difference in power and is easier to tune for. With a regular setup the carb will see huge differences in inlet temp on a day like today. 60 or so in the morning and cool start up to probably 120+ or more by afternoon with the outside close to 90 and the added heat from the radiator and headers under the hood. The factory has had all kinds of solutions over the years. Ram air, cowl induction, air grabber hoods. Even a lot of big rigs have the air filters outside the hood and for good reason.

      @haffrods7055  ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't like how loud electric fans are but I'll take it if it keeps thing cooler. Thanks for watching Walter.

    Maybe just try and trim a little rubber off the back side of the filter I think it will look better without the relief cut

    Can you shorten the filter instead? Leave the brace. You need a sponsor named ARP!
