What I love is that they sound natural, Is not overly exaggerated reactions like other anime’s, these 2 don’t follow any kind of tropes, they actually feel realisticly human.

What I find cute is that despite Fern being so cold to Stark, she does genuinely care and likes him. When Stark proposed the idea to get her a different bracelet, she was adamant on keeping it regardless of the awkward meaning behind it of eternal love, and how quick she was to accept a dance from Stark, without a dishing out a sassy remark.
She is hopelessly in love with the sensitive crimson haired warrior, and she doesn’t even know it.
Oh definitely. It's going to be a gradual progress, but I'm sure Fern and Stark will eventually come to recognize their feelings for each other.

And I love how pure Stark is, like he really is the purest and softest of soul despite having the body of steel.
I love their dynamic as a whole. A mage and a warrior love story have always been a classic.
I'm like half convinced that the chosen Hero is the child of these two.

Stark already is the choosen hero, of you look well, it doesn't matter where he goes and what he do, people start loving him and some actually trained him on sight, there's around 3 characters that decided to train him out of nowhere, like if the world is preparing him for the charge

I mean, I feel like ep 15 demonstrated how much the 2 care/respect each other with how much work they put into the dance. So, I personally don't feel as though it will be a toxic relationship, especially with how much the 2 have bonded and will continue to bond in the future.

Stark is the type of guy who'd invest all of his xp on physical strength rather than mental strength.
Stark has that in him, give him time dude. We're not perfect at the start.
His job mainly requires physical strength so makes sense. Plus his backstory ain't a normal one. Trauma, survivor's guilt, PTSD are walking with him.
He is just 18 right now.
He has a lot of time to grow up.

This actually reminded of that one special ability of Aura where she can control an individual as long as her mana capacity is higher than her opponent but her opponent has a strong will power they can resist it. So basically Stark doesn't really need mental defence as long as he got that drive in him.
The ball room scene really shows how observant Stark can be when it matters, once he and Fern start, he immediately notices her discomfort and nervous expression, thus Stark picks up the pace, gently forcing Fern to focus on her movement while keeping eye contact with him, relaxing her as they fully enjoy their time dancing
I love their awkward unaware nature it's adorable but I adore how it makes a ton of sense if you stop and think about it. Both Fern and Stark have essentially grown up as recluses, both were orphaned by war at a young age and then taken in by eccentric individuals who played a massive role in their development, Eisen taught Stark to be a warrior whilst Heiter through Frieren taught Fern to be a mage. Other than those three people I don't think Fern or Stark have ever had a meaningful relationship with anyone else at least not until part way through the show, so it makes sense that their both super awkward and have no idea how to act around others their age since they have literally never had to do so. it's also adorable
when they meet the stubborn old lady, Fern does mention that their party is full of socially awkward members, they are aware of that lol

Yes altough I will argue Heiter was not that eccentric when he was older taking care of children like Fern in the orphanage. He was actually really kind and quite "normal" as a father figure and educated her beeing a priest himself.
Thats why she's less unaware than Stark is. Maybe not for everything as she's young and maybe not that used beeing with other people her age as you said but she's still educated, organized and stuff
In fact she's often more of an adult than Frieren is when she takes care of her and everything in the mornings 😂

It’s crazy how I really wasn’t vibing at all with their relationship before(mainly because of how Fern seemed to despise his existence) but now a couple episodes later I’m rooting for these harder than most couples on the season. That dance was like a turning point for me,ever since that they have become special.
At the start, I've been rooting for them, since they're both made for each other. One is a mage and the other is a warrior.
The 1 thing that ruined it for me was that first insult where she just randomly makes fun of his dick. I thought their whole relationship was just gonna be like that where she constantly insults and berates him and I wasn't feeling it at all. But I've come around to her more now tho I'm still not fully sure if I'm invested in their relationship.

Frieren is a masterpiece. The manga doesn't even focus on their relationship yet she manages to make their build up really sweet and rewarding. Kanehito Yamada is so amazing
stark is childish and dense as fk while fern hides her real feelings and is really blunt, the cute thing is we see how they mature over time and get to know more about each other.

Both are great written protagonist of their stories but I like the message behind frieren more appealing than chainsaw man. One thing i love about them is how both of them are chubby with round eyes. Same with frieren.

You know, I never really noticed it until now....
But you are absolutely right! Their faces are incredibly squishy and adorable, ha ha.
Isnt that kinda part of the artstyle in Frieren OVERALL? Young humans feel like they do have more round-ish faces (even irl I mean). Young Flamme, young Himmel also had this general look to them (kind of), and Frieren who stays young all this time because she's an elf of course.
Idk if they are meant to be "chubby" as Ive seen you say, but if I agree on one thing is that I also find them cute. It helps that their personalities also are (cute to watch).
I have also seen japanese people write something about "muscle face" I think it was regarding Fern beeing cute after she had an argument with Stark on her birthday ( might be mistranslation from Google idk I dont know much about japanese so the notions might be different and not enough about the culture to be sure ) anyways idk wtf they mean by that, but I dont think their facial shape is the necessarly the thing that makes the characters cute personally. They look cute in the first place but its in many more things, the faces they make; their facial expressions moreso than than just "shape". its for example in the eyes, in the little smiles, pouting, their behavior and basically who they are !
