  • I made this target markers mainly for scanning bended steel pipe and find their radius with CR Scan Otter, saving time on removing the markers sticker. The target is raised from object surface so it can be erased by using lasso tool in Creality Scan software.
    Here's the link to my markers collection.

    Markers glued to magnetic tape also works :)

      I made hundreds of them with magnetic paper. Just put them on the paper, then use a hole punch tool that has the same size as the marker. Fast to make. I use a bigger magnet to remove them from the scan object afterwards. Works like a charm.

      That's a good idea, removing with another magnet. What kind of magnetic paper are you using? The one I have is like 2mm thick and too hard to cut.

      When I scan steel pipe, I need to put some angle to the surface, flat markers will lose visual with an angle over 20-30 degree. But car body should work fine with flat marker.

      @@Payo-TensileCreator I've found 0,7 mm "paper" in A4 format. I've tried 1,5 mm thick tape but as you said, it is quite hard to cut.

      I can not post links here, without getting deleted. Google "Locheisen". You just punch them and get a perfect cut marker. It's super fast. Marker confetti 🎊
      Any printable magnetic paper will be fine.

    Can you do some tutorials on the software? How do you delete stuff so fast? Can the software export 3d models as step files, STL or other files?

    Hey Payo! I have received my Raptor today but unfortunately connection to my PC is not working because it's only detected as USB2 device even if port is USB3 capable. I am using Cr-Scan 3.1.40 and FW 1.2.1. Many other people reporting same issue. Do you have faced similar problem with your Raptor? Any solution for this?

    • @Payo-TensileCreator
      @Payo-TensileCreator  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have that sometime when it detects. What I did was just pull the USB cable out and put it back in again then it will show USB 3 speed. Sometime if I have many USB peripherals connect in many ports it also doesn't work in USB 3, I had to remove some of the connected cables.

    • @android4cg
      @android4cg 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Many thanks for your answer. With .30 version it does not detect the Raptor at all. Wirh .40 sw version it mostly only detecs as usb2. Sometimes with usb3 but only for few minutes then ir disconnects while scanning and detects only as usb2. Issue reproducable on 2x different PCs. Zero such issues when connecting usb3 high speed industrial cameras to my pc. Really very bad user experience on my side.

      I think it should work, but I can't tell if you will get full 50-60 FPS or not. You can try if you already have it. I think anything above 30 FPS should give you a good scanning experience.
