My mom doesn't trust me at all. It's like I haveno freedom she doesn't let me go out with my friends. She thinks I'm this horrible teenager that do the worst things and that's because of some really old mistakes I tried everything to get her trust back she doesn't understand that I'm a different person now. I feel so depressed and upset.
I dont live w my parents, I live w my grandparents. But my grandparents dont trust me to do anything bc of the mistakes my parents made, and its not fair 😥
my parents and I have a pretty good trust they let me go out a lot, for example I'm flying to Chicago to visit my cousins by. myself. this summer for a full week and my parents are totally cool with it. Yes my parents check my phone every once in a while if they think I'm being sneaky because in the past I have written things I shouldn't but I think now that I have matured and stopped the trust is a lot stronger. If I ever go to parties or am with friends and one friend that I drove in with is making me uncomfortable or I don't feel I just call my parents and if they don't answer I just stay with the person I feel most comfortable with and my parents will pick me later. IF they do answer I tell them the code word and they come and get me, its a simple plan that we came up with when I went an hour away with a now ex friend with sketchy parents and I could't get ahold of my parents because I didn't have cell service.
Doesn't work don't try it. Might as well do whatever you want because no matter how responsible I am... I can't get a snapchat. My parents say that the app is "sneaky" 🙄
