they're not as refined as the mk3, same way the mk5 golf is not as refined as the mk6 golf but they are pretty solid apart from having a weak turbo and pretty bad injectors HOWEVER in my experience doing over 100k in the CAYC engines in at least 10 different cars it's more negligence from the owner than an injector issue... USE GOOD FUEL ONLY and add some 2 stroke to the tank, don't run your fuel tank on reserve and in my experience you should never have a problem.
FUN FACT ABOUT THIS CAR. I bought a genuine kess v2 just to do a remap on this vehicle only [got it with a couple months subs dirt cheap] as I'm a cowboy and only have a Chinese kess 2 for the other bangers. shout me for maps init cuzzyyyyy. £100 backstreet specials $$$$

I had one of these mapped to basically 150 yep I remember it being this quick 😂 Also never had injector trouble with mine

Good fuel and regular filters you won’t have no trouble especially if u add 2 stroke to tank

@@Mr330d and use v power rather than supermarket fuel on them engines it makes a big difference and will also give u better mpg

@Mr330d or u can buy millers ecomax in 5l works out a tad cheaper but then u have to faff with mixing it with the 2 stroke etc
