This car has aged well. Too advanced for its time I guess cuz it looks great now even still kinda futuristic. But when I first saw it I did not like the design language. Thought it was weird. But now. Wow. Looks great.

I just got an 09 sh awd. Non tech. 1 owner 97,000 miles. It needs to be faster, but drink much less fuel. 😉 you and one other guy are the only people that I see put out the most content on these 4th Gen's. Thanks for going through things so I don't have to. :-)

I had a 2012 TL with tech package and I fell in love. Getting a SH one soon
I think I was the first person to contact ktuner about the EGR delete for our cars lol. I ordered that EGR delete from P2R within a week of it being created. Once I contacted ktuner, it was added to the software two days later. This was like three-four years ago lol.
Just f.y.i. for those who trying to order the switchback on the link. Make sure it's the flat plug and play for the signal and not the round ones. I got the wrong one on this link. Also I've tinted out my headlights and taillights; don't recommend the headlights unless it's light tint. You lose your h.i.d. visual. It's not as bright. But it looks very stealth with the tint. That's why I'm updating all my l.e.d. front and back. I respect your work Garrett.
can you comment the correct link here? im trying to change mine out for the ones that don't hyperflash
Only l.e.d. Bulbs I changed out are the reverse, the back plates lights, the side amber corners, fog lights, and daytime running lights; oh yeah, and the blinkers on the side mirrors too. Anything more then that, it started hyper flash. I attempted the back taillight signals and it hyper flash. Also at first my front amber corners, one of them burned out.
This is so clean. That front and back body kit is perfect and for a white car it’s pretty much spotless 🤤

Just picked up a 2013 acura tl sh-awd 6MT for 8k with less than 100k miles. Interior is flawless and the dash isn't all cracked like my 06 Acura TL. I got airbags, a lip kit, and now I'm going to work on the transmission before messing with the engine. I love this vehicle. This TL looks sick.

it’s a beauty. I grabbed a 9th gen Accord Coupe 6-6 with low KM’s and regret not buying one new these Honda/ Acura V6’s in either that SH-AWD TL or the Accord Coupe sooner.
I mean it’s 2023 and that thing looks & sounds good especially sweet with what you’ve done to it.

front end kinda of has like 3 differrent whites seems like fender, bumper and front lip kit are different colors. clean build though. acura gang... i own 18 tlx aspec shawd

I really love your setup. I have a 9th gen V6 touring coupe. I just want to do a few mods because it’s already fast (for me). Looking to do a cold air like how you routed yours into the bumper, Rv6 J Pipe, and exhaust. Do the PCDS make you not pass inspection? Or can you fix that with KTuner?
Yes deleting your cats will make you fail emissions unfortunately but you can always put the cats back on for inspection

They gave the nice ass wheels to the 2010 TL but didn’t give them to the 2012 TSX. That’s fucking insane. Cool car btw
Seeing you have the ported runners, you have a lot of power to gain from a tune.
This car isn’t made to be modded with power in mind the auto trans isn’t great or fast shifting and with ivtec/vcm you can’t even turbo or supercharge this car unless u put in way more money than it’s worth

Modding this car is for funsies. We get what we can out of it with realistic goals.

Thanks 😊! I got them from USRauto.com but they’re currently sold out. They only sell the clear diffuser so you’d have to open your headlights to replace them

Your car looks nice man. All you need is either spacers to bring those wheels out a bit or different wheels with less ET. Honda and Acura stock wheels have really crap ET they are all either et55 or max et50 and are so tucked in there.

highway I get around 24mpg city around when driving it slow. City around 19mpg for the SH-awd. Front wheel drive I’m sure it’s gets better mpg

My TL's rpm fluctuates are around 1500rpm for some reason 😢. Like 1300-1700 rpm. I've seen it happen in all gears. It's an automatic

I just purchased a 2012 Zdx and I too have a rear oil seal issue , oil pump seal issue and it’s time for a new timing belt

@@kjprettyboi99 Time for the timing chain if it's high miles. It's all about who took care of the car. Keep synthetic fluids and use MOA.
@@TheJ4tg timing chain lasts a lifetime (if oil is changed regularly). Also, I’m pretty sure that the ZDX (or any other modern Acura)has a timing belt instead of chain. I think that the TSX (2.4L) is the only one with a timing chain.
All Honda engines will eventually burn oil. Lol
Thanks for this list. I'm about 1/2 way there. Mine is a 2013 SHawd Tech. I only got 89K (cdn) so haven't done the timing belt/water pump kit yet. Should I do it before 120Km (100k Miles)? Will do the P2R ported runners/thermal gaskets at that time. This spring, will do the Spec-D Camber kit already purchased. Thanks for teaching me The Next Mod!
I have an accord j35, I did the timing belt at 99k, it’s recommended before 100k however people have gone farther. ABC garage changed his belt at around 150k. But remember the consequences are engine fatality so you have to keep that in mind

I just had my 2010 TL done at 145k and cost me $1200 all in.
^ 2010 TL 160k on it. Timing belt, water pump and tensioners installed at my local Acura for 1200.
Really thinking of selling my 8th gen si for one of these. So hard to find the 6 speed in Toronto !

What happened to the caliper covers you installed? I was thinking about getting something similar
I had to remove them because the stock wheels would rub on the caliper cover and cause it to fall off
The newer version on the tein are Tein flex z . I have that set up
