Wow, Anna is such a brilliant, sharp eyed reporter. Finds every new bit instantly. I‘ve seen some of the DIY hacks from the mechanic as „new“ products recently. Seems they are not that new after all. The Exie hurt a bit because I tried to get my hands on one but I only could „preorder in autumn“ and had to divert to a Cannondale (which will no doubt be super nice)
@@gmbntech If you could get one of the Ibis Ripmos for a bike check at EWS, that would be a cracker. I‘m interested how they run it and how that compares to how I run it.
Anna, I’m not sure what they hoped to achieve with the machined lower pulley and precision fit bearing. Shimano spent countless hundreds of hours designing that derailleur and they purposely make the lower wheel have the ability to float a bit side to side. The upper wheel is the shift/guide wheel now in the newest equipment and should have no play, but the lower wheel is the tension wheel, and it’s intended to have some side to side play.
These nuance differences don't matter in a bike its all about how capable the rider is a bike is just a few metal tubes and wheels. No doubt a better rider could win a trail race on a carrerra sulcata 3.2 for £575 vs a less capable rider on the best specialized bike specialized makes for like £15k
LaPierre mechanic is on it. I just learned multiple new tricks, during that interview.
Could make a show out of that toolbag!
Yeah, that brake block to individually lube each piston was brilliant!
It looks like the dream tool box! 👍
The Lapierre Mechanic, has his toolbox well dialed. Pretty neat!
100%! It's such a well organised and compact tool box!
Brake rotor tool, nice!
@@irvsstella absolutly !
He is top lad! Wouldn't mind him to be my mechanic :)
One of the rare few channels now bringing good ews content
Agree… it feels like the “raw” style of the EWS channel adds too little production value to such an amazing event
better than the offical EWS YT channel
That guy riding to all the races was a real surprise ending
Yeah, it sounds like an awesome challenge! Best of luck to them! 👍
Anna is just so great :)
Great custom stuff 👏🏽
That bleed block 🙌🏽
That Forbidden-Tour ✊🏽
Great stuff 👌🏽
We're stoked you enjoyed this one! Thanks for the support! 🙌
Amazing mechanic. Get more mechanics like him on !!
That Giro Helmet placed there on the shelf as an "easter egg" for the keen eyed Anna!
Awesome from RAAW to openly show the prototype stuff, great work as always Anna, cheers
Thanks so much Andres! It takes a trained eye like Anna's to find new and interesting tech!
Absolutely love the bike package dudes. Epic adventure
Love those RAAW prototype parts.
Lapierre mechanic seems like creative guy. There is a lot to learn from guys like that.
I want to see more mechanics toolkits. His kit was 🔥
You know it's something when this is the best and longest content to come from the EWS yet
Discovery bought the EWS and is completely neglecting it. It's a real shame.
Eric, what a lad 👊
Craig is the man. More mechanic tips please.
The altered bleed block to work individual brake pistons is simply genius. I'm making one now.
Love this type of content
Thanks, Marc! We'll have plenty more coming your way throughout the year! 👍
A glimpse into the background that's where the story is and most times where the race real starts!
That bikepacking setup is sick.
It looked insane didn't it?! It's a crazy challenge that they're taking on, but best of luck to them. 😅
Craig absolutely love your tool box, u really sound very switched on, and living your dream big respect 🙏
The RAW mtb was absolutely gawwwgusss 🤪🥰🥰🥰

Thanks for the support, Christian! Anna smashed it! There was so much sick tech to look at! Hopefully, there will be more throughout the season! 🙌

Thanks for the awesome stuff
Both tech videos have been very good.

Beautiful bikes
Definitely! There were some really interesting enduro bikes to see over the weekend. 👍
@@gmbntech I currently do xc racing but would love to try dh or Enduro racing!
What have i enjoyed today: The 18kg tool box 6:06, the new Giro helmet 3:00.
Both look sick! 😅
8:44 Pure genius.
What the mechanic using to lube the pistons? Red rubber grease, dot fluid or something else?
Will there be a same type of series for the xc bikes of this season? The Pro Bike Check videos are quite old...
Good youtube channel here 👍
Thanks so much, Jordan!
Nice 🤘

I'll be bodging myself one of those piston lubing tools, for sure!
The giro dude that keeps stealing the microphone 😂
Haha! Good spot! 😂
Anna getting Giro rep into trouble :D
Hardly.....it's a set-up mate
Anna straight away spotting the new products! 😂
The lock-in grip collars for a cutting guide?! Fuckin brilliant! Thank you my dude
Looks like the pivot and chain guide are 3D printed! Nice use of quick proving abilities.
That derailleur really is a nice bit of machining
It looks incredible! It's so cool to see a press-fit sealed bearing in the lower jockey wheel. 👍
Can I ask a question?is the giant reign a good bike?
All modern bikes are good bikes
Can you guys get some 4k vids ? I'm spoiled now lol
Cortez Florida great content

Is gmbn just trying to be annoying calling it “gyro”? The toolbox part was great, could have been it’s own video
Schawlbe not schway-bald
