Ha ha ha, I love that poncho of Andy's. It looks so funny over the his backpack. Regardless of the conditions you got great cloud inversions up on Helm Crag. Wished I could have seen it. Another super video Tracey. Thanks for sharing and say hello to Andy & give Billy Bob a hug from me. PS: I did your autumn walk parts 1 & 2 last Monday 21st. I also included Castle Crag. It was the day after the storm. The Derwent was full to overflowing. I got some great light breaking through the clouds from Castle Crag. It was quite a spectacle.
@davidburgess9058 I hope the colours in the rainforest were good , definitely this week the colours are really showing 👌 I bet you enjoyed yourself. Hope you didn't get wet feet , Andy did Castle Crag last Sunday, it's a good wee hill isn't jt
Morning Tracey, Billy and Donatello. 🤣 What a great little walk. I love that path up to Helm Crag. Done it a few times, such brilliant views to the south. I think the last time I did it there was an inversion all the way back down to Windermere. We set off from Grasmere in the cloud and by the time we got up to that first shelf there was not a cloud in the sky, they were all below us! 🤣 Have a great weekend, I’m out with the Mountain man tomorrow in Wasdale. 😀⛰🥾
@DAoutdoors I bet that was amazing to see , a memory never to forget ....enjoy Wasdale , we are off together tomorrow but gonna head near to Borrowdale for the autumn colours 👍
A really good walk. A lovely little fell is Helm Crag even in proper Lake District weather. Always enjoyed the ridge walk to Gibson Knott. Don't know if you'd done the scramble to the highest point of Helm Crag in the past but certainly that wet day was no time for it. Terrific views with the wisps of mist amongst the fells.
A very good walk this Tracey 😊 the lion & the lamb visible as ya go over Dunmail Raise making it something iconic to look out for, the drone captured more great views from the heavans! The sign saying 'No Cars' 😅😅😅wouldn't put it past someone in a Land Rover Defender trying to go up this way 🙄 😂as for Mister Andy, has there ever been a time where you have said to someone ' he's not with me' 😂😂😂he's a bloody star isn't he 😂regards to you, Mister Andy & of course Billy Bob 🐶🐕❤🎉
Hi Tracey, You mentioned the free parking, when we were there in September it was absolutely chocked, we've used the shortcut on many occasions, could glimpse sour milk gill in the distance in full flow. As for Quasi, judging by the noise his poncho was making I think you should call him Russell 😁. You beat me to it saying your Paramo is hot, think Russell had the advantage. Your mike sure was picking up the traffic on the A595. Now I'm trying to imagine you with a 1980s tight perm, but of course you'd have been at school in the south. Nice little route, maybe one for next year. Cheers Graham
@gberish602 thanks Graham 😊 Russell lol ....another name to add to his collection ...I've just bought myself the paramo velez for the summer and warmer days , atb Graham
Hi Tracy, loved this video , stunning atmospheric views albeit a bit wet for you Billybob and Andy. Glad to see you finally using the Halcon jacket, you mentioned you had bought it when I met you on Lords Seat a few weeks ago.
@jameslowther9792 hi James haha yes but oh boy it is a warm coat , definitely one for the colder months, I've just bought the limited edition summer paramo velez so I've got a good collection now...how do you find your Halcon coat??
@@Traceyattrill-Essexgirlinwild Absolutely love it Tracy. I wore the paramo Alta jacket for my last ten yrs as a postie and it endured many a wet and windy day and never let me down, in fact I have just purchased another Alta jacket. they are warmer than your normal waterproof jacket but you will appreciate it more in winter. Absolutely love your interaction with Andy you make a good pair.

Fabulous walk and video Tracey. Shame about the great British weather but some super atmospheric footage with all the low cloud about. Love Helm Crag but never used that zig zag path up or down but a good option to know about. I do love the walk through Greenburn Valley which comes out further along the ridge and onto Calf Crag. ATVB 🙂
@tonypilki3 thanks Tony I know the path you mean yes sometimes we descended that way from Calf if we can't be bothered with the muddy trudge to Gibson Knott haha 😜
Loved the views. Great drone shots. Amazing colours and atmospheric clouds
@@steveostler thank you 😊
