Instead of sending expulsion you coulda sent branded in white and at the end of sending retribution you shoulda brought white back to hand activate it and banish gimmick puppet and Albaz to make searing discard whatever make jade activate jade cl1 striking dragon cl2 pitch albion for cost that way you still set expulsion and when you activate expulsion ss gp to their field mecourier to yours and have a negate and lock them
so hypotetically if i succesfully summon this gimmik puppett on opponent field, and he tries to negate it with forbidden chalice he still won't be able to summon right?

Wow this is very powerful, i did Not like the ra/ ido lock that much because you had too play in such a fragile way too do it just too loose against 1 droplet or book of eclipse but this one is huge!! The card went up from 30cents too 7 euro in germany but i still ordered it instantly its worth the money lol
Glad a guy moved me one along with his Unchained deck. Shame I didn't buy them when the deck was $30 and the gimmick was $0.20 Instead I picked Unchained up at the unflated price, then traded it for the now inflated Pubk deck.
I must say I am really disappointrd with the direction this game is heading. It's sad to see Branded having to rely on cheap floodgate tactics. It used to be a really cool meta deck that won by having multiple interractions and good resource management. Now the top decks are just more floodgates and whoever manages to play their floodgates first wins. I wish konami would stop encouraging this kind of playstyle and instead give future meta decks more interesting and interractive playstyles. Of course I am not saying that you shouldn't play this, if you want to win the it's fine for you to do this.
Just play strings, dark strings and numeron strings is generic numeron is a better skill drain in some occasions and dark strings is a raigeki on legs plus burn plus draw one. Forces the trigger of mirajade and keeps the nightmare away plus with foolish burial goods you can send condolence puppet which then can be used to protect the strings from mirajade or even protect a Zeus that you manage to summon it. or just play grinder, decent removal, funny card, decent booty.
Obviously it's not new, but it's not the option people were playing before if they played expulsion. The fact it's both able to be sent by granguignol, and is a lingering effect where getting rid of it does nothing for them is what makes it a strong choice. It's also not a 40 or 50 dollar card like ido
The special summon clause of nightmare is not an activated effect it’s a condition of its summoning. As long as it’s successfully summoned to the opponent’s field, they’re locked out for the turn. Ra/Ido can be removed through cards like eclipse or e-controller, droplet etc to get out of it.
Oh god here we go again, you and everyone else who think Ido or Ra is better is just dumdum. Dark Hole, Econ, Eclipse, Droplet are all very relevant meta staples at the moment that solve Ido, and some of them will get you your Ido back and screw you up big time. GPN DOESN'T EVEN START A CHAIN. - it doesn't have to remain on field - since it doesn't start a chain, it can not be negated in any way, shape or form. As soon as it hits the field, you're locked into gimmick puppets.
God damn ….are we not a little sickened by the one trap flip and turn lock your opponent from playing yet ? Like it creates 0 interaction ….I understand all is fair in love and war but this is just another gross ol lock …..why does the sense of power in this game have to come at the expense of my opponent not being able to play the game ? Like look I’m not saying I’m above these play styles cuz I myself have done them to top tournys and take first but like this is just the same song on repeat here

Branded has been playing like this for a while though. Ra, Scythe, Ido, Kristya… ever since expulsion came out in POTE people have been doing this.
