One thing that is almost certain in life is this: PEOPLE AIN’T JUST ONE THING.
A person can be a GOOD FATHER, A GOOD BROTHER, and also a BANK ROBBER.
A person can be a GOOD MOTHER, A GOOD COMMUNITY ACTIVIST, and also a DRUG ADDICT.
A person can be a GOOD LEADER IN PUBLIC, and also a TYRANT BEHIND CLOSED DOORS.
NB: In no way am I suggesting that H.E. Kwame NKRUMAH was as the interviewee depicts him, OR AM I SAYING HE WAS NOT. I think most of US all here are learning history, one way or the other.
POLITIC IS A DIRTY GAME, period !!!

What facts did he have or knew when he was not a party man and was in detention shortly after independence in 1958 until 1967 when he and others were released? He was in the transport service prior to his detention, so what intrigues did he knew that were taking place in Ghana party politics considering his level of education and exposure among the political gladiators, apart from rumours, speculations and assumptions which were not necessarily true. All l can gather from his discourse, he must have belonged to the gang of saboteurs the British used to stand against Nkruma's ways and when the latter grabbed power he imprisoned him and his cohorts out of circulation in order consolidate his position in power. However, now that Nkruma is no more, he came up with these fairytales that Nkruma was not a Ghanaian but a Liberian whose parents were unknown. If at all he had these hard facts and they were true, l believe Nkruma's political opponents and the British authorities would have used them against Nkruma and thwarted him from getting to power. I believe it too late to rewrite history of Ghana at this material time. But be that as it may, he or anyone cannot never wash it away, Nkruma was an African who fought for the liberation of not only Ghana but Africa.

Hello, Folks. I started doubting this man the very moment I heard him speak of Kankan Nyame, "a so called Juju priest", who, he said, was from Senegal. The so-called Kankan Nyame(The God of Kankan) was an outstanding Quranic teacher of great reputation in the town of Kankan, in Guinea-Conakry. His full name was Cheick Fantamady Cherif, or Kankan Sekouba(the great Sheikh of Kankan). He was one of the wisest men the continent has ever known. He simply used to pray for people, not give them any "so called fetishes". People used to come from as far as Central to ask for his blessings; even the French colonial administrators of the day in French West Africa came to him during World War II to ask him to pray for the liberation of France from German oppression. In the early fifties, Nkrumah happened to be friend with one of the sons of the Sheikh of Kankan, El Hadj Iwah, a dynamic trader of the time. Through him, Kwame Nkrumah approached the old wise man, who prayed for him. That story, distorted a 1000 times became the basis of the ridiculous fables peddled about Nkrumah and his power. That is what this man is selling here: rubbish.

God gave you long life and good health for a reason, use that to clean your records if you want to talk. Why not talk about the reason you were sent to jail during the Acheanpong era? Talk about the coup you plotted with Nyaho & co. Nkrumah sent you to jail for doing nothing, maybe you were the most important person in Ghana then. You have a record of trying to oppose statutory authority. You opposed Busiah for chosing Akuffo Addo as Exec President and he arrested you, but for Nkrumah you did nothing. Go and tell that to extra-terrestrials.

However, he had hatred for Nkruma.

Just hatred, typical of an African man. He is not 95 years but in his late 80s. He would have been in his late 20s when Ghana got independence in 1957. If he claimed Nkruma was not a Ghanaian, he was an African who fought for the liberation of a place he term as his home country and known world wide. An ethnic chauvinist he is. Most of his stories about Nkruma and political development that took place from he was detained in late 50s to his release from detention in the mid 60s were hear say since was not on the political field more so not a politician.
