+Ecomog Media Group As a person who grew up with the 90's cartoon, Jubilee start the whole thing. It was about her friendship with wolverine and learning how to be an Xmen. It's like six movies in and she gets like 2 scenes.
I loved all the new characters, I even liked Apocalypse (though he was completely underutilized), but the script sucked so hard, making audience graps at any justifications to what was happening on the screen. Old characters were kind of boring. Fassbender is still great Magneto, but his arc didn't have any weight to it, it came out of nowhere just to give him a reason to fight humans again (like Magneto needs a fuckin' reason, he ain't no hero). And somebody fire Hoult and Lawrence and hire somebody who isn't whining about prosthetics. Their human faces took me out of the movie (especially, since Lawrence's Mystique is not even THE Mystique).
I gave it a 4. The CGI was terrible and if the story had been better I wouldn't have minded so much. Only thing I disagreed with you all on is Cyclops - I didn't like him. I didn't mind him when James Marsden was playing the role, he has a certain charm that the new kid just doesn't. This movie made me realise why Wolverine hates him so much haha. The thing that bugs me most about Jubilee is that they're getting the actress to do press - poor girl. Cut her right out of the movie then send her out to do press... The biggest letdown for me was when the two characters I actually cared about - Magneto and Quicksilver - completely failed to have their big dramatic moment that both of those actors could have KILLED if they'd been given the chance. They better have an epic father-son reveal moment planned for the future! Re: Wanda/Scarlet Witch though - from what we saw in Days of Future Past, she's much younger than Quicksilver in this universe and not his twin. And since Magneto has no idea that Quicksilver is his son, presumably he is not the father of the sister in this movie.
Bro what was that noise around 10:45? LOL. A dog sneezing? Anyway I liked the movie. I give it bout a 7. Some cool stuff in it like Phoenix, Quicksilver scene and Weapon X. I kind of thought some of the dialogue was bad.
I thought the dialogue was extremely weak... comparable to X3. First Class and DOFP were a thousand times better. Even the character interactions felt flat in this one, there were no really great moments. When you compare the scene where Wolverine comes to the mansion to find Professor X in DOFP with anything in this movie - no comparison.
I like Nick Hoult but a lot of his pivotal scenes in this (if you can call them that) were opposite JLaw and she was making it hard for him to spark off her. You can feel the awkwardness between those two post- RL breakup
The summers origin story would be a much better movie than this piece of trash reboot, Alex older than Scott, Scott discovering his powers in his school? Prof. X telling Jean to unleash no holds barred!? Really? Bryan Singer has no idea what made the Xmen XMEN! Fox made one good xmen movie and that's deadpool, which they didn't meddle with with their dirty fucking cashgrabbing fingers.
I'm hoping the reason Quicksilver didn't tell Megneto his his father because they might be saving that up for the next movie and we could get a emotional big scene where Peter reveales to Eric his his son
+Tyler Watson Yea, maybe until Phase 4. As of now, I think the MCU is just too full, and it seems like they want to focus on certain debuts. If they go the route of killing off or retiring most of the original Avengers like everybody thinks they will after Infinity War, than it'll be easier to bring in other characters and franchises
Remember at the end of Days of Future Past, Mystique captured Wolverine disguised as Stryker and they took him away so that's how he still ended up there. Also the cg was only EXTREMELY during that shipyard scene, those crates were absolutely garbage looking.
So Mystique handed him over to the Weapon X programme? It doesn't make sense - if it was actually Stryker who'd captured him in DOFP then fine, but that Mystique reveal actually made this make less sense. I would argue that the shot from the fight scene with Psylocke which was in trailers looked fake as hell as well, it really put me off the movie.
I agree it doesn't make sense and needs more explanation, I imagine the real Stryker knew where he (Wolverine) was located and sent his people there and Mystique showed up disguised as him to find out what they were doing.
I gave the movie 7/10 Pros- 1. Scott, jean, nightcrawler, Charles and magneto were amazing 2. Action scenes alright with good some humor. 3. Quicksiver scene was great Cons- 1.Apocalypse was a generic villain who didnt really do that much. 2. The whole striker, wolverine and weapon x scene was unnecessary( they could have taking this out and put in the jubilee mall scene instead) because how many times are we going to see the same crap over and over again. Nobody gives a shit about striker or weapon X program. 3. This one took me out of the movie mystique hailed as a hero? What's even worse that everybody including Storm and Jean Grey look up to her.
Magneto and Quicksilver were amazing, McAvoy did his best with what he was given to do, everyone else was weak IMO but largely that can be blamed on the script. JMO
Just watched the blu ray version last night (I KNOW IM SUPER LATE) But i am glad i waited because this movie was total ass. The acting was bland and bad, the characters were dead, the motives were convenient af and everything was corny. Magnetos family loss plot was stupid and I felt nothing for them because they were random as fuck. Apocalypse was just horrible. Havoc died and Scott was just like awww then he was good lol. For a movie with the title Apocalypse they only used a few mutants in the battle and there was barely any real power shown. We watch X men to see powers not talking. The only 2 actors who did anything for this movie were Fassbender and quick silver. I did not believe that girl as a young jean grey, replace her now. It felt like a high budget youtube movie. Nightcrawelr was good too but his fingers were a little to fat, make em smaller lol. Overall we need to get rid of singer asap because he is killing Xmen and the potential.
i think deadpool in the changed timeline after days of future past thats maybe in the present day .. but i could be wrong that being said apocalypse strikes me as a thanos level villain that should of been left as a background player till a major event happens (age of apocalypse) because in terms of the mutant villians that where he is on the food chain( at the top) . they could of either introduce the dark phoenix, space and the shi'ar in this movie . hell you can even just use sinister as villian and do the mutant massacre storyline . both was major 80s story lines that outcomes leads to anything that happens with apocalyspe in the 90s ( scotts son being his major enemy , scott ending up with a clone instead of jean, sinister cloning jean , sinister massacring the morlocks which intern has angel lose his wings. angel going to Apocalypse and become his horsemen death. taking over the world when pro.x dies and create the AOA )... none of this would make sense when you place it in the timeline AFTER !!!( and apocalyspe is long dead..) but what ever great vid:D
He's just a scheming dude always from the dark corner of the room, maybe the most important thing he had something to do with is the character of Cable. Other than that, he isn't as good as Apocalypse which the movie unsurprisingly fucked up like all the previous ones.
Yessss! I was thinking about that and they should react to it, because they're also making a sequel. I wonder if they can react to a whole movie oh TH-cam
The film is really not that bad it didnt make me feel dead inside like BvS but its not great either , i think Bryan singer bit more then he cud chew still , he did the best he cud and it was a decent attempt , he shudnt feel bad about this film its not that bad its above average 7/10.
I like X-men, but it wouldn't hurt my feelings if I didn't see it. I think these films could have been MUCH better in other hands. Quicksilver was my favorite in Days of Future past. I never liked Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique and frankly I'm just tired of Jennifer Lawrence period. Rebecca Romijn was the best Mystique. I've seen all the other films, but for some reason I'm not invested in the characters. Great discussion of the film. You guys are the best.
I like JLaw but I didn't like her in this. Even in DOFP which I just rewatched, she doesn't have the lithe grace that Romijn brought to the role. Her sex appeal is not supermodel-esque which is what I feel like Mystique needs... I don't know. I think she's great but I hope she doesn't do any more X-Men movies because she's letting herself and the audience down.
I started out liking JLaw much more than I do now. The first film of hers I saw was Silver Linings Playbook and she was good, but I didn't think Oscar good. Now she's just doing too many films. She got committed to these franchises early in her career, but she was also doing other films across the boards. I just got sick of seeing her. I don't think her Mystique is badass enough to be a leader, but she makes the big bucks. I don't think she's chosen particularly great roles. I think she needs to take a break and re-access where she wants her career to go. She's made millions, more than most actors make in a lifetime. She can afford to take roles that really have some teeth but that might not be blockbusters or a franchise. She needs to slow down or she's going to burn out. She could be a really great actress if she thought more about the roles she takes. I imagine it's hard to say no when someone throws 20 million dollars at you.
Rose Ryan Yep I imagine you're right. The first thing I saw her in was one of her first films, Winter's Bone. She was awesome in that...I was disappointed in Silver Linings, I saw nothing special in that performance but in Winter's Bone she was hypnotic
I haven't seen Winter's Bone, but I know several people who have and they all agree that she was fantastic. I might need to put that on my list to see. Thanks for reminding me.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine was the franchise killer. It was so bad, Fox cancelled the other Origins movies, like X-Men Origins: Storm, and the then unproduced X-Men Origins: Magneto. Luckily, First Class rebooted the franchise as a whole with great success.
Yo..........what in the shit was that noise around the 10 minute mark? It sounded like somebody was beating a ducks ass And y'all didn't even react to it, did you not hear it? Sounded like a ghost goose gettin booty raped in the background. Freaked me the hell out Good review tho. I liked the movie, but definitely agree there was some big problems with it.
they made Apocalypse look like the good guy getting rid of nuclear weapons that way they can't destroy each other I am completely confused .apocalypse opposed to be the bad guy if he was the bad guy who used the nuclear weapon destroy every human being on the planet Earth and his name call apocalypse that's really messed up Bryan Singer really messed up X-Men movie once again that made him look like an idiot
when are you guys going to react to dc vs marvel the ultimate crossover part two? being waiting for days for your reaction. please do it. you guys are the best.
So far from the vids I've watched, this and Suicide Squad are pretty much only where we disagree. I thought SS was absolute garbage and Apocalypse is the best super hero movie I've ever seen.
oh yeah the cgi was terrible they need the team from civil war on that shit i disagree with m dogg. Cyclopes was good and to rehash on jean grey she was just bland, she cant carry that role with just her looks. Jean is a complicated charcter that needs a actor with a great range of emotion 5 out of 10 for me.
Mystique is only getting that much screen time because of Jennifer Lawrence. Mystique was NEVER a hero.
Actually, she got less screentime in this movie than in First Class.
If Michael Clarke Dunken was still alive he would've been perfect to play Apocalypse
Yall channel gonna blow-up trust me. I give it 2 months.
thanks man!
Struggle Soldier can easily get an oscar meyer endorsement.
+Ecomog Media Group As a person who grew up with the 90's cartoon, Jubilee start the whole thing. It was about her friendship with wolverine and learning how to be an Xmen. It's like six movies in and she gets like 2 scenes.
Quicksilver was dope
Yep, he had the best scene in the whole movie! It was worth seeing it on the big screen. His scene woke me up lol
I feel you both. This was a real review.
It was hard for me to choose between Magneto and Quicksilver in this movie
Angel died in a plane crash? Forgive me, I don't know much about X-men, and I didn't watch this movie, but doesn't he have wings? Wha?
Anjela yes his real name is warren Warrington 3 aka Archangel
lol quicksilver is not faster than flash
man I love listening to you guys talk about this
The X-Men apocalypse movie is underrated and weapon x kicked ass
I loved all the new characters, I even liked Apocalypse (though he was completely underutilized), but the script sucked so hard, making audience graps at any justifications to what was happening on the screen. Old characters were kind of boring. He is a hero in the movies it seems
Gotta hand it to ya. You guys know your sh**.
I gave it a 4. The CGI was terrible and if the story had been better I wouldn't have minded so much. Only thing I disagreed with you all on is Cyclops - I didn't like him. Civil War is on another level but Apocalypse for me is 10 times better than BvS.
it did have too much MK CGI at the beginning 😂
Bro what was that noise around 10:45? LOL. A dog sneezing?
Anyway I liked the movie. I give it bout a 7. Some cool stuff in it like Phoenix, Quicksilver scene and Weapon X. I kind of thought some of the dialogue was bad.

When you compare the scene where Wolverine comes to the mansion to find Professor X in DOFP with anything in this movie - no comparison.
Older Beast(Kelsey Grammar) was a better actor than the younger one. Like Quiets updated look. Maybe get some "Struggle Nation Hats"...
I like Nick Hoult but a lot of his pivotal scenes in this (if you can call them that) were opposite JLaw and she was making it hard for him to spark off her. You can feel the awkwardness between those two post- RL breakup
you guys forgot Moira MacTaggert she still fine as hell and also Apocalypse is first to ever have Stan Lee with his wife together in a cameo
Eduardo Lopez 3 , that was not Stan Lee and wife first cameo together.
The best part of this movie was the first 5 minutes. After that it went to shit. Although the Quicksilver scenes were good.
The summers origin story would be a much better movie than this piece of trash reboot, Alex older than Scott, Scott discovering his powers in his school? Prof. X telling Jean to unleash no holds barred!? Really? Bryan Singer has no idea what made the Xmen XMEN! I heard Jubilee had a scene but it got cut out.
Hopefully that makes it to the dvd then
Fox just needs to give everything back to Marvel honestly.
I wish, but it would be difficult. Just think about Quicksilver...
hopefully avengers infinity war can lead to a shared universe if done correctly
+Tyler Watson Yea, maybe until Phase 4. As of now, I think the MCU is just too full, and it seems like they want to focus on certain debuts. so this is batman v superman part 2 damn damn damn
best parts were wolverine and quiksilver

It really irked the hell out of me when Mystique gave that bs X-men speech at the end.

NOTCH COMICS ENTERTAINMENT I liked the movie a lot. but I agree with you
NOTCH COMICS ENTERTAINMENT for I liked it lol
NOTCH COMICS ENTERTAINMENT and these are the same guys that liked the dark tower
i think deadpool in the changed timeline after days of future past thats maybe in the present day .. but i could be wrong

React to marvel vs dc ultimate crossover part 2
at the end of the day, Marvel needs to get their IP back from Fox.
Who is Mr.Sinister? I've never know about him. Is he the most powerful villain? can you please tell me?
The most powerful villain? No, but type in mr sinister origins on youtube and their you go.
He's just a scheming dude always from the dark corner of the room, maybe the most important thing he had something to do with is the character of Cable. Other than that, he isn't as good as Apocalypse which the movie unsurprisingly fucked up like all the previous ones.
If Gambit was in future X-Men movies made by Fox it be too little too late.
yo guys PLEASE watch and react to The secret service kingsman or if u already watched it do a review on it since it was so good
Yessss! I was thinking about that and they should react to it, because they're also making a sequel. I wonder if they can react to a whole movie oh TH-cam
Still better than The Last Stand and Origins
The film is really not that bad it didnt make me feel dead inside like BvS but its not great either , i think Bryan singer bit more then he cud chew still , he did the best he cud and it was a decent attempt , he shudnt feel bad about this film its not that bad its above average 7/10.
Has anyone else noticed how he can’t give a review without the gratuitous cursing?
they should do what Sony did and have marvel do the xmen justice
I like X-men, but it wouldn't hurt my feelings if I didn't see it. I think these films could have been MUCH better in other hands. Quicksilver was my favorite in Days of Future past. Yeah..Rebecca was alot better..specially in X-Men United
struggle Ivan Ooze was bland asf
Terminator blew up a bridge
Apocalypse was alright to me
I would give it a 8/10 cause somehow the movie made me cry a bit cause a few scenes were touching and beautiful
Wtf are u pregnant? Going through your menstrual cycle? Bitch made? Cuz literally there's no scenes that could excuse u from crying.
AlphaKvngNova I cried because I wasted my time
Raheel Shahid lol
don't matter to me, play it.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine was the franchise killer. It was so bad, Fox cancelled the other Origins movies, like X-Men Origins: Storm, and the then unproduced X-Men Origins: Magneto. Luckily, First Class rebooted the franchise as a whole with great success.
Olivia Munn needed more scenes

when the trailer came out. I wasn't interested. especially with mystique mediocre voice, "you're X-men now".
can you react to morgan
Can you guys react to "one punch man" "Saitama vs Boros fight"
oh yea
dc vs marvel crossover part 2
Damm changed the thumbnails? Looks more professional
I decided to stop being lazy and start working on them, haha
So far from the vids I've watched, this and Suicide Squad are pretty much only where we disagree.
I thought SS was absolute garbage and Apocalypse is the best super hero movie I've ever seen.
I just saw it today and i loved it.
React to Daredevil and Jessica Jones !!!
Very mediocre in my opinion.
it was better than batman v superman
7/10 for me
this movie sucked
MisterFlytv no it didn't
I Hate this movie to
