I enjoyed Zemo as a villain A LOT - it was a nice change of pace. While Marvel is good at making ordinary folks superheroes - Zemo is, probably, the first villain who is not grand, not mustache-twirling or whatever. He's just an ordinary guy with a certain set of skills who has nothing in his life to hold on to but revenge. He doesn't just want to kill the Avengers - the wants to destroy the idea of them, because this idea cost him everything. He could have released all these Hydra soldiers to kill them - but he didn't. He could have try to take over the world with his knowledge - but he didn't. He destroyed their trust in each other and tried to kill himself because revenge was the only thing keeping him from doing it before.

Agreed, at first I was bumed because he wasn't the "Baron Zemo" but Daniel's performance plus the character's motivation was pure class.

childofbodom1314 I wouldn't put Zemo THAT high, but they left a room for him to improve (and he probably will - I have a feeling that Civil War and both parts of Infinity War are supposed to feel as a trilogy since it's made by the same team, Zemo will probably have some part in it as well). Aside from Loki I loved Red Skull and Ultron, and they're both done, so...
I enjoyed Red Skull and Ultron as well. I haven't seen all MCU movies (haven't seen the Iron Man sequels, and haven't seen Iron Man 1 or Incredible Hulk since they came out) so I can't judge all MCU villains but I like them all to some degree.
I like what you guys said about Zemo. He was an extremely effective villain. Look at it this way: as nasty as he was, Loki brought the Avengers together. Zemo busted them apart!

2016 has been a great year for Marvel...possibly their best. Civil War and Doctor Strange were both fantastic.

Beautiful! Truly glorious review. I like hearing from the quieter guy in the hat, I think both have great points. I thought I'd bring up another amazing moment from the film - when Black Panther's chief bodyguard (part of the Dora Milaje) in all her glory walks up to Black Widow and says "Move, or you will be moved." Such a striking character, with an imposing presence. Amazing! I absolutely can't wait for the Black Panther movie.

Those Aunt May scenes... man... Marvel is in BIG trouble. Now they'll have to find someone hotter than Marisa Tomei for Spider-Man solo movie. Boner-wise she held her own against the likes of Scarlett Johansson and Elizabeth Olsen. Just saying.

The Captain was the biggest G, he done whupped Iron Man, I agree about Scarlet Witch, Cap' was lucky to have her on his side, cuz' she provided protection for the team and kicked multiple ass.
Spidey', Ant-Man, Black Panther, Winter Soldier, Falcon, the list goes on, well done considering there were so many characters.
Love M-Dogg (AKA Marvel-Dogg), but I gotta agree with 'the idol of millions', the Righteous Struggle Soldier about Iron Man being a "...bitch ass nigga." Cap set his ass straight though.

Guardians of the Galaxy will motivate the Avengers and team up back together to stop THANOS from fucking shit up
One hypothesis I concluded is all the marvel movies are coming together and climaxing into the one big final showdown movie, so you have the Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, Dr. Strange, probably even the X-Men too all coming together for this movie by Marvel Studios which I believe it will be called "Thanos and The Infinity Gauntlet". get ready for a Celestial God Showdown

you guys know it still continue in Black Panther
I'm hoping it doesn't I know what you're saying too cause T'Challa has given them asylum so they probably reside there most likely at least someone will show up in his film cause if there is some major threat and they are there yet don't show up it won't make sense. but the reason I don't want that is in will basically see it as "Black Panther: Civil War Part II" and it shouldn't be Panther can stand on his own, if it's something like 1 or 2 other Avengers in there, but unless they took their chances elsewhere which wouldn't make sense they're all fugitives with asylum in Wakanda I don't see how it could just be a black panther film with Klaw or other black panther villain without them getting involved if they're involved they can't just ignore the Accords and facts of civil war. If all that is involved it's black panther civil war Part II.

Gotta admit the introduction of Black Panther was awesome and such a great enhancement to the MCU. Loved how they used Ant Man too. In the comics, they explained what Scarlet Witch did to Vision. He has the ability to control his mass, hence he can make himself hard as steal or he can pass through matter. She used her powers to increase his mass to the point that the gravity of the earth just sucked him in. Keep it Real guys

Actually Iron Man was the one who defeat both of them because Iron Man defeat The Winter Soldier and almost kill Captain America.Iron Man was the strongest one.If you see this way when the battle starts:
Health of The Winter Soldier/ Captain America / Iron Man : 100%
Final Battle : Health of The Winter Soldier : 5%
Health of Captain America : 20%
Health of Iron Man : 20%
I'm saying that Iron Man only one person 100% needs to defeat The Winter Soldier 100% and Captain America 100% (200%).
Like Iron Man 100% - The Winter Soldier 100% and Captain America 100% (200%)
100% - 200%= -100
I mean Iron Man literally kill The Winter Soldier and nearly mostly kill Captain America.
So, this means Iron Man is stronger than The Winter Soldier and Captain America.
