    I had the opportunity to be coached by Peter Karlsson in a training camp. He's amazing. I learned so much from him. On top of that, he's gotta be one of the nicest guys. So kind and humble.

      Why? That would ruin the whole point. That would be like a BJJ black belt rolling 100 % with a blue belt. There's no point.

      @@szotakandrei no player would want their opponent to go easy on them. Earning a well deserved point would be more satisfying than winning a match where you know your opponent couldn't give you enough credit to even play seriously.

    Peter has such nice mechanics. That forehand swing of his is so smooth. Without ever having seen him before you could tell Dan was playing against a pro.

    I really enjoyed it! He showed how he can level and make Dan try hard to get his points. In the end he win of course but he made it very entertaining

    Hi Dan, great match, what poly ball do you like to use when playing matches and reviewing equipment?

      The Falkenberg club is sponsored by STIGA so we used a STIGA ball in this 1 set match. In reviews we use the Xushaofa, stiga or DHS ball generally. It actually also depends what event Tom has coming up and what ball is being used in that event :)

      I love the Xushaofa ball, Mr. Xushaofa was recently visiting NYC. I also like the G40+ butterfly and nittaku premium 40+, any chance you know why the nittaku ball does not have the word "approved" next to Ittf, i wish I could find the stiga ball, the one ball I have never played with.

    Peter only started trying at 7-10 down. BTW, the fourth point touched, so should have been 3-1 to Peter not 2-2.

    I really like your forhand topsin, your variety, your serves and your overall controll. But what i miss are these forhand long line counters out of the forhand cross exchange. Mostly you both exchanged cross, cross, cross. If you learn to counter this with a forehand longline you will score some easy points!

      Sweat just as an excuse, but the main reason in most cases is play some mind games on the opponent and throw their timing off. If you see some Chinese players including Ma Long, the able to wipe many times bevore the next point. It looks like the one wins who wipes the last, and creepy stuff like that. In my opinion it should be banned

    Are Dan's serves legal? Every video I see of his he throws the ball backwards into his body. Are you allowed to do that?

      I remember that server should not hide his ball when he throw the ball, but I think we got no need to care about it because this is not an official match.

      batuhan bilgen to dry off their hand if it gets sweaty. They do it near the net because usually the ball doesn't touch there.

      Jeo Smyth I think it slows the pace of the game for the players and calms them down. It also gets rid of the sweat on your hand. You don’t normally touch other places on the table because you don’t want the sweat to go on the places where you actually “use”

      The table has dust which when it comes on your hands give you an additional grip on the blade...!!! You will also see PPL dipping shoes in a puddle of water sometimes for the same reason
