The best control out there
As an ex-professional jazz musician, this is the best of PMJ. I keep coming back to this video 8 years later. Audrey is truly one of the most talented jazz vocalists alive today and she is at the top of her game, here. The control and raw talent is incredible. You can tell she has put *years* into training her voice. Absolutely insane.

Well after a week...this song is still stuck in my head. I finally feel like I can sing it better now...go figure. Twas a blast doing this with you guys!
Yes, I know this feeling after a recording, but my experience is, that maybe the technique improves, but often not the expression like doing it "the first time". But anyhow, this number is once more again so wonderful: sung excellent, very cool trombone solo and finally very nicely acted :-)

I can't belive how incredible you are! I heared Aubrey singing and thought that I never heard that playful but at the same that accurate and clean tone ever! Everything seems basic, but that's the power of the genious musicians, adding their talent and work together by the plan that they composed, making some really good music. I just started to smile and wanted to listen to you all night. I know this song, but never ever thought that it can be this good, if good musicians strating to work with it!
The record, the scene, the musicians just perfect, practiced, and know what they want to hear, it's good to see that someone's finally taking the fun seriously :)

I didn't think a white girl could sing like Ella Fitzgerald. She did in parts, but in other places it didn't sound like Ella's style- it just turned into whatever fabulousness she is on her own :)
