Flattening the PDF is my favorite because I do book covers, and it makes the cover much more successful for uploading to Amazon or other print services.

Actually, I did see the option for "Flatten PDF" just a few days before this video and I was happy about it because usually, I create ebooks, and the option to "Create by importing PDF to Canva" makes it easy for others to copy it. However I saw when I use the "Flatten PDF", all my Links (Website, social media, affiliate links etc) don't work anymore. Do you know if there is a way to make the links still work after using this option to avoid the ebook being copied?
Hi Elis, I will have to investigate that with Canva… I’m not sure if links still work once pdf have been flattened. I noticed a problem with links not opening in regular PDFs lately, so it might be linked to that previous issue as well.

Hi Ronnie, Me again. I’m still having trouble with the background I added taking over the whole design. I have created a template with 6 squares and want to add a different image in each square. Unfortunately if I try to add an image that I have deleted the background and replaced it with a colour it takes over all the squares. Is there any way I can use the images that I have replaced their backgrounds as I have done this with about 150 images. I do t have any trouble placing images into the squares if I have not replaced their backgrounds. Hope you can help. I’ve tried sending emails to Canva support but no answer. Regards Sandra

What about the number of audio tracks you can put in a video? Do you know if it has increased? The limit was small, less than 10 if I recall. Thanks for the great info!
At about 3:05 you point to a "card" where we can click to find a video on organizing our Canva. But there is no card. Can you share the link to that video in the description? Thanks so much!
If we use flatten pdf, then we don't have to make every page a jpg and then put it back into a document of the correct size to prevent elements from being extracted? That would save so much time if so.
the feature that is needed the most is ability to export more than 10 pages to drive.. also for video projects we should be able to download each page separately because if u try to do that it gets downloaded as a single video.. download and export needs a serious upgrade...should be able to do that in a click

Hey Marina 👋 Unfortunately you cannot be that granular for rotation. I’d also love to have the option to input an exact degree, I’ve made the suggestion to Canva, let’s see 🤞
@@TeamRonDi Please, if you can help with the ability to numerically input values, that would be a huge help. I am just trying to put guidelines on 150px and it keeps skipping between 149 and 151 it is driving me insane, for 10 minutes now. I tried two mouses. I know I can zoom in but still. Also color the guidelines. i have grid so it would be great to color the main one to distinguish them easily.
The only thing I still miss in Canva is to empty the TRASH in once.. now you have to select the item one by one and delete it one by one .. it's so annoying.. I hope there will be a solution soon!! I love the Content Planner!

Hi Ronnie, I have sent you a few messages as I desperately need help with Canva and cannot find anywhere to help me. When I delete a background and replace it with a colour, the background colour takes over the whole design. Can you let me know where I can go to see if I can fix this.
Hi Sandra, when you add a colour into a frame or grid, it will colour your entire frame. So if you frame is as big as your entire page it will cover it all. Try to resize the frame/grid or simply delete it.

When I try to add the image that I have removed the original background and replaced it with a coloured back ground into one of the squares it takes over all the squares. I have removed the original background of about 100 images and replaced with my brand colour. I think I will cry if I can't use them in my six square template.

If it’s animated it must be exported as a GIF or an MP4 video. Therefore you cannot have it with transparent Background so far in Canva.

I'm not sure we will ever see layers (like in photoshop) in Canva.
Pro tip: if your presentation is exceeding 50 pages please rethink your presentation, unless it's a book then goto 200
Sometimes you might need more than 50 slides in your presentation. It really depends on what you are trying to communicate and how.
