I love when he said that too! I think I became more attractive because I started to be me and raise my standards. Someone who knows what they believe in and stands firm in it is attractive. I believe people respect people who have standards and find it attractive.

Wow literally my boyfriend and me right now 😭😭 we’re struggling because the long distance and we had a scandal last year and we just keep fighting on this but I have faith !!! I prayed every moment from meeting him to now, God wants us to win this battle!

I love it this I feel like waiting or being celibate is truly about taking control of your body and doing what you want when you are ready not society or anyone else.
Right! It's about releasing the expectations around you + learning Gods expectations. He just wants us to experience His love, freedom. joy, and abundance we just gotta make the room and invite Him in! And you can't invite Him in completely until you let go

@@Shanacee You guys did very well. I do believe you're leading in a new era for believers. Until we go back to the book nothing we'll really work. We have to start by stopping and it's so possible. Eventually a new generation will walk into marriage as virgins. You guys will be an example for your children not hypocrites. I'm 38 and celibate by the way and proud of you. Thank you for obeying the father. This is more helpful then you know.

Thank you for this video. I’m very nervous to ask my boyfriend of 2 years to go celibate with me. I consider us to be a serious couple. My FIRST SERIOUS couple. I am also falling deeper in love with God and HE has been shouting at me that this is something I need to do for myself and my soul. And I know it’s something I need to do. I’m scared. I’m gonna keep it real. I tried to bring this up early in our relationship but never went through with it. And he grew up in a Christian house hold, however does not practice his relations with Jesus. How did you start the conversation?
I just so happen to be up right now and can’t sleep lol so your comment came at the right time. Well, it wasn’t easy for me to start the conversation either because in this world it’s strange or a lot to ask of someone to wait for you. But I had to start choosing God and myself over any hypothetical outcome. I knew that if I choose God then every other situation is going to work out, even if it doesn’t work out how I hoped (Matthew 6:33). I told my bf about how I felt and that God was calling me closer and he respected it. I messed up a few times trying to stay celibate. But as I got closer to God the easier it became to wait. Sis and brother, thank you so much for such an insightful powerful video. May I ask a question regarding my relation? If so, here it is. I was with my ex partner for 10 years and we are both 23. During this season God convicted me and I finally realised and accepted that fornication was indeed a sin. In doing so, God touched me to follow him whole heartedly. I told my boyfriend about it and said I was becoming celibate. He immediately said we were not on the same page and broke up with me. (Expected) Two months down the line, he contact me and said he wished to ask a few question about my decision for Closure. This has thrown a spanner in the works as speaking to him reignited feelings. I’ve prayed, but wished to ask for your thoughts. God richly bless your union!
Hey there! First off thanks for watching and please subscribe. Secondly, thanks for trusting my advice. I don’t claim to have all the answers or to be an complete expert but I would say to guard your heart because like the Bible says “guard your heart because everything you do flows from it.”...so if you think him reentering the picture is keeping you from Gods path and process then break the ties. It’s not worth entertaining if you’re discerning it as a “spanner in the works”. If it’s just curiosity and soul ties pulling you back in then leave it behind. If you feel like it’s a divine connection then give it time and you’ll be able to tell for sure. Everything God ordained is tested and proven...but no matter the decision stay prayerful, honest with yourself, and guard your heart and don’t compromise your values....hope that helps.

I am a year into the journey. It was a pretty easy decision for me. I feel closer to God; Very proud of myself. Dating is difficult however; Smaller pool. ___ Question: Are there dating apps/events/etc..... that allow you to meet other people that are also on the same journey so that way making connections is a little easier ?
Congratulations Diamond for making this lifechanging choice!! I'm proud of you girl! And thats a good point not everything is super difficult for some ppl it. As far as the apps and events idk but hey maybe that might be something you can start!
I am starting my walk with Jesus Christ, I've been with my boyfriend for 10 years and we've been sexually active ever since, we have two kids
Now I want to become celibate and wait for marriage, I'm so afraid of telling him but this is what I want, God comes before everything, how do I do this, please help
Thanks for reaching out! My advice would be to pray about it, write down your reasonings for becoming celibate, and have an honest conversation with him about it. I know it's an complicated situation but you all can figure it out. It's so worth putting God first in your relationship because He will bless it in unimaginable ways!
