- Follow Jeremy Swenson through a rainy weekend at Watkins Glen with GridLife Touring Cup. Watkins Glen racecourse has little runoff and close barriers on either side, making little room for error. One mistake can slide you into the armco: a costly mistake that can end hopes of a season championship. Jeremy fights for grip all weekend and has to decide what risk is worth the reward of weekend points towards his goal of winning the season.
Filmed at Watkins Glen International 4/28-4/29 2023.

Dude you are probably one of the very few, where the popularity does not match with the production values( in a good way ). Amazing stuff. Cheers and hope you get more spotlight.
This is amazing! Seriously, this Alex Freeman guy is a magician!
Hahaha
Excellent!!!
Very well done!!!
Oh this video brings such good vibes. Love it!
The B roll footage of the cars going around looks like the old school DTM racing footage. Nostalgic
This is one of the coolest things I've watched in a long time!
All those cars at about the 10 minute mark. Second race. Actually racing like gentleman, no big money, no agenda. Just racing what they built and don't want to have to fix or replace themselves. It is I do believe the last pure form of motorsports racing that anyone can get involved in. I'm trying to myself, still have a way to go but time attack and the format is the last form of real racing, besides of course straight up drag racing, but even drag racing takes big money to be competitive.
Awesome documentary! Beautifully shot, captured the emotions perfectly. I'm blown away man!
This is awesome! I was at the bus stop watching this race
This was a great GLTC and driver documentary. I have new level of respect for Swenson in choosing to withdraw from race 4 due to dangerous conditions. Come back to race another day. Amazing video and I felt the tension the whole time through this cinematic story.
Thanks dude!!!
Thanks for sharing! It's so great to have this content, as it's a really exciting hobby filled with talent and so glad ND is being represented by Jeremy.
Thanks! Alex is incredibly talented!
This was awesome! Very well done. The in car audio was amazing.
Thank you! Hoping to improve it further at the next race
Dude! I'm so glad I met you last weekend, or I probably wouldn't have found this. Incredible work Alex!
Thanks for checking it out man it was great meeting you as well!
Mr. Glenn this is beyond incredible...you ve captured the heart and soul of racing on film. (An extremely difficult task)
Please if you're not too busy I d like to connect regarding more work and collaboration in a similar regard.
Best,
M.Holmes
Not even a minute in and I have goosebumps. Incredible story telling. Jeremy deserves all the respect in the world for doing what he believes is best for him and sticking to it.
beautifully captured
"I'm good.. I'd just rather not."
This is one of the smartest things a race driver has ever said. Well done, friend.
Truly incredible documentary! You couldn’t have captured Jeremy any better! I love that guy so much and you captured him to a T!
Thank you so much! Means a lot to read that
Nice work! love the sound design!
Thanks for picking up on that!
Great doc. I watched the newer GLTC doc first and then came to this. Cinematography and music are excellent. I hope you can do more of this stuff!
Appreciate it man, thank you! I hope so too, making racing documentaries is living the dream for me. (Until I get to actually drive haha)
I second that brother. It is motivating and inspiring.
Truly exceptional storytelling. I hope we see you in the paddock again soon!
I'll see you at Gingerman!
I'll put this work up in the same category as "Road to Le Mans". Especially considering it likely done at a fraction of the budget. Thank You Alex
Thank YOU, I really appreciate that, i'm thankful my work is resonating with people. I hope to get to produce this quality of work with a quality budget soon haha
Dude this video is sick! I want more of em! Keep up the good work and I'm sure you're channel will explode!
Thank you! Appreciate the kind words, I've have a bunch of ideas for my next project. Also if you're looking for other films (besides my other doc on Swenson, "For the Love of Racing") check out the Gridlife official TH-cam and the "Gridlives" series of films I've been making for them.
Seriously great work stacked with some awesome filming! Well done.
Thanks man! Alex poured so much work into this. Netflix here we come!
THIS IS AWESOME!!!
Awesome video!! That track was downright scary in the wet!
I just found out today that they still ran in the rain. I didn't know they did. Really crazy stuff.

Thank you! I have some more docs planned for this year, will be posting more for sure.
Absolutely amazing content. Really hoping to see more from you!!!
There's definitely more coming! I'm thinking part 2 at Gingerman needs to happen
Wow such a great video! I have so much respect for Swenson!
Thank you for watching!
Please do more of these. This was flat out amazing.
Thank you man. There will definitely be more
Loved this, great work!
Thank you! Got some more coming soon through Gridlife this summer
Just saw you in the Nascar race, you did AMAZING BRO!!
Seriously recommend narrower tyre width for wet conditions. Those massive wide tyres in the wet are unable to generate enough heat to maintain any grip level. In addition, because they are so wide they’re ineffective in dispersing water & aqua planning becomes an issue.
If you can, get the softest compound (lowest tread wear rating).
Even look at running a narrower width dry tyre overall or for cooler conditions.
As the saying goes, sometimes less is better.
A wet skidpad is an excellent test bed to trial these changes in a safe & controlled environment.
Cool that's my dad
I’d love to catch this here in the future. Will you guys be running here in 2025? It’s my home nascar track and I’ve yet to see any sports car racing here sadly.
