This would be awesome, I just started D5 2 weeks ago, and achieved level 9999 on one character, but idk how to start up Carnage dimension and I feel like I'm missing a lot.😅
I'm on the last episode of the main story and thought I'd watch this video to better understand the grinding. Sadly I got lost at some point. It would be awesome if you could make a "grinding for dummies" that shows the best way for grind for the many aspects of the game. But still, I love your channel. It's the best (and probably the only) channel that actually covers topics related to this game. Keep on fighting the good fight!
So many of these guides are like; in order for you to do this, you need this, and for that, you need smth else. Oh to do that last thing to get this done, there is an optimal way which you may need this for and to do that, this other thing is required. I wouldn't say this guide is BS or anything, it's just that the game system is all over the fucking place with multiple ways to achieve the same end goal.
I have 0 statisticians and I can level up any character from 1 to 9999 while on Elite Four in a single Martial Training stage. I don't think they're really worth the trouble stacking. Maxing out all the subclasses using Geo Blast on 20 star Carnage Item World is very easy and gives you enough stats to level up with ease on Martial Training, to the point where you can kill the Carnage Boards at lvl 1 after reincarnating.
Staticians don't stack. Also, it's more favourable to seek out master innocents after you get the one statician stack Also, professional innocents are very handy as well.
@@airiakizuki5592 If you have curry with 100% crit effect, which is very easy to do, you just need to dump any 100 weapons into the curry, how is having 100% more damage worse than having increased crit rate when you're already maxed out? Also, I know where your profile pic and name came from. Nice taste. EDIT: Slight correction, any item you dump on the curry gives +1 spiciness, not just weapons.
One thing I would change in the guide is that not to max out innocent farm squad and stay at level 7. This way they won't be born subduded and you can take the newborns into the item world with any others you farmed, set exp weapon skill exp to max in cheat shop, go into innocent route (either by skipping 10 floors and not subduing or by entering an item which is already set to innocent route) and then subdue them for a bonus amount due to innocent route. Go back to the farm and merge with lowest stared ones. Another bonus for not maxing out the squad is that it gives you something to do while waiting for the innocents to be born / grow.
I'm 260 hours in, still don't have the 10 billion damage trophy. My Sage can't get any stronger with reincarnation. It capped at 1500 for a single stat.
Yep, I knew from the beginning before looking up guides the Sage class was going to be one of the top 5 OP disgaea characters. Oh, I know I'm a bit late to say this, but my strategy with sage girl is a bit different. I didn't just use her for LD, I also used her to pull off 6 tera spells a turn to beat up bosses. What I did was get her to reincarnate into the elemental witch girls, learned all the elemental spells, turned back to sage and power levelled her after that. This way, my sage can use a lot of "super effective" spells against the hardest bosses in the game. I did not always have to rely on land decimator, since she naturally has star spells and can use twin heads with it. Plus, with another sage girl and maid, I can pull off SIX tera spells with my main sage girl in one turn. There is another evility that can allow sage to attack 8 times in one turn, but its very hard to get working. This other evility is from the Nekomata which lets you attack again if theres is one enemy with 10% health left, which doesn't happen often. This 6 tera spells strategy I came up with is also how I beat protodark death. I also used this strategy with Carnage void and won. Surprisingly enough, Carnage void took me 3 tries, since I realized "Hey, I can hold up sage and other buffer characters (maid, magic boost boost Usalia) with weaker characters to prevent them from dying!!". The only other thing I have to do is beat baal and get the other ultimate weapons/armour. Have got the carnage trap and some carnage ultimate weapons, so it'll still be a while till I beat Baal.
@Thundersnow i would like to know if 1 statician cap of 900 on 1 char will suffice for whole team? or is it single char dependent, and possible to stack them with hogg all exp? :-)
Don't upgrade innocent farm group higher than 7, if they're born unsubdued you can subdue them on the innocent route with a hunter squad member and get one that's 8x better, or 16x if you're lucky enough to get the innocent geo square.

Did you perhaps manage to cap her INT? Base stats have a maximum of 10 million I believe. What is her INT without equipment when you notice it stops growing? If it's at least 10 million (keeping in mind some other stuff like extracts will contribute to equipment-less stats), then this is probably why.
If people who are confused like me just finished that main story like i did and just turn the game it because I really don’t want to wast honestly 120 hours on this game it was fun while it lasted
you dont want to max out innocent farm its much better to have it at lvl7, that way when you subdue them in the item world on the innocent route it doubles
I think Disgaea 5 ruined a lot of the systems I loved about the Disgaea series and I already beat all of the post game when it came out, but it’s been a long time and the post game grinding just felt so tedious and complicated in the range of mechanics I had to engage with. I’ve been thinking about giving it another chance and trying my best to see if I was over complicating some things and see if really the grinding wasn’t much more tedious then the older games and I just missed something crucial that made it annoying.
At this point im just trying to get better carnage gear and max out my stats, having trouble with that though as the item gods never seem to be carrying anything better even when im in a rank 50 weapon that I've leveled 100's of times. Its making getting those carnage versions of the legendary weapons pretty tedious.
Don't listen to this guy about the statisticians, you only need 1 lvl 900 on your equipment and nothing else, you won't get more boost after that, I just looked around for one on a random item, went into item world, killed it, transferred to the farm and went to play the rest of the game as it leveled.
I was wondering how long after first playing a new disgaea your first character reaches 9999; and mainly How do you get the initial large ammounts of mana fast enough (not hours minutes if possible) with out having to be a high level. I start getting bored with grinding at about one passage through 10 levels of item, I know there are more effective leveling up methods but I use item world since it generates money and better items than I get from stores. I basicly never get characters above level 150, since I get bored with repetetion quickly. If reaching max level blind takes for ever I was just wanting to know before following the steps to do so. Most of my enjoyment is through the story. How does one get sage early on?
first, have you beaten it yet, because i don't want to spoil anything... you can use the cheat character in the hub if you want to gain exp faster. i haven't used it, but i do have over 220 hours of play time before new game + and i've never made it to over level 500. i didn't know about his strategy till now, but my way of leveling faster was using usalia's transformation (basically Land decimator) on maps with large amounts of units, specifically the ones with up to 70-100 enemies. you can just transfer the exp she gains to someone else from all the units that die. you can also transfer all of the mana. the cheat character also allows you to change the difficulty of the game going from 0 stars (default) to 20 stars. the increase in difficulty can greatly boost the level of the enemies, making it easier to gain more exp from them and it's not really even a cheat. tbh, it can be a long grind and you don't really need to cap unless you want fight post game on a high difficulty. i will admit, i couldn't even touch the final post game boss and my highest character was level 1000. this was also at 0 star difficulty. my entire play through was blind as well, so i was never able to make it that high
I did beat the main story once (for D5); I found that getting to high of a level can make the game less fun because of challenge. I do know of the cheat shop from previous titles and usually max out exp and mana but that still seems to be not enough. What maps have 70+ enemies because I do not know any maps for the most part beyond the story ones so if I needed approval for them I never played them (exception is for extra characters like Logan or Prier.
yeah, in the main story you can become OP if you over level, but the level gap in post game is ridiculous... enemies will literally jump 100s of levels between post game chapters so you don't have to worry about over leveling against them. if the cheat shop doesn't seem to be enough, you can also triple your exp in the strategy assembly. well, the best one is a post game level where you unlock Asagi (i'm guessing she was from another game, don't know her character). i'm on new game + so i can't remember the exact name, but i think it was "Phantom Copies" or something like that. it should be the final level in that little chapter. i think there is about 100 enemies on that map or maybe a little bit less. they are all pretty high level, at least if it's your first time going there. a high level Usalia can literally kill like 90 of them just by transforming and then gaining 30+ levels at once (that's without using the difficulty changer or the exp changer in cheat mode). so if you go to the strategy mode and put who you want that exp to go to, you can probably gain 100s of levels for multiple characters in under an hour. i was able to hit level 300-400 after restarting from lvl 1 in a short amount of time. i'm sure you could go much higher if you do use the cheat system. mine was all on 0 stars and i still leveled very fast. i also think Usalia's transformation blast is more consistent than land decimator , but i could be wrong
All the things Voxel describes here are best learned in practice. While it's true that you have a Huge amount of information to absorb up front, in practice, you'll start by spending a good amount of time just Leveling your characters. Once that's done, you'll move over to the character/item world and grind out some evilities/item levels. Then you'll go Back to leveling once you're far enough to efficiently farm the next highest EXP map, and so on and so forth. Just move at your own pace. Having gone through a Rougher version of the grind this game involves back in Disgaea 4, I can see Noticeable improvements here, and reaching a high power level is Much more efficient thanks to them. I guess my bottom line is just to not Overwhelm yourself with taking in All this information all at once. I did the same thing back when, and I realized that breaking this process down to smaller, more Manageable segments will make your experience a lot more enjoyable :)
It's true, this series is mostly for people getting into the endgame, just enjoy yourself and come back here for reference later :) I will do some beginner guides eventually.
900?! So the Staticians have buffed up threefold each! I was able to get to level 9999 in 2-3 battles in Disgaea 3 with just stuffing my items with 300s (and the specific item buffing ones.) And In Disgaea 4 I could do it in 2 battles flat. With 900% statisticians, it must be 1-9999 in a single battle.
@@airiakizuki5592 in D5 once you reach the carnage dimension (postgame) the martial training 5 stage can get you to lvl 9999 in one battle by exploiting the statistician innocent on a equipped item and setting the cheat shop exp to 1000%.
Hellsing7747 its a skill that is found in the secret shop in the chara world. Oh and your mastery of your fist has to be i think lvl 85 but max it out to be safe
its not as OP as this but Toto bunny stage 1 is good for lower level sages with land decimator... about 100 zombies? good xp and lots of shards.. EDIT .. Also found it good to have an innocent sun bather on an item.. it gives a 50% chance to sleep enemies. great for when they are comin to get ya lol.

Well if you don't like the game, then yeah it will feel like a slog. But he is right that getting to level 9999 the first time is the slowest, while every time after that goes by really fast. You get as much as you put in.

At this point im just trying to get better carnage gear and max out my stats, having trouble with that though as the item gods never seem to be carrying anything better even when im in a rank 50 weapon that I've leveled 100's of times. Its making getting those carnage versions of the legendary weapons pretty tedious.
The rarity on the item has to be 80
Don't listen to this guy about the statisticians, you only need 1 lvl 900 on your equipment and nothing else, you won't get more boost after that, I just looked around for one on a random item, went into item world, killed it, transferred to the farm and went to play the rest of the game as it leveled.
I am going to see what post game options I have then. sounds fun.
okay. hope i was able to be of some help :D good luck
I'm about to reach the post game so I watch this kind of video but I'm completely lost...
It's true, this series is mostly for people getting into the endgame, just enjoy yourself and come back here for reference later :)
I will do some beginner guides eventually.
I haven't found a map in D5 to do 1-9999 in one battle.
I found a map to do it in two, thats almost as good.
@@airiakizuki5592 in D5 once you reach the carnage dimension (postgame) the martial training 5 stage can get you to lvl 9999 in one battle by exploiting the statistician innocent on a equipped item and setting the cheat shop exp to 1000%.
All i care about is leveling up etna and valvatorez!
Good choices there.
Laharl's my man but I can't fault a Valvatorez fan.
Do you guys know how to learn "no way out"?
Hellsing7747 its a skill that is found in the secret shop in the chara world. Oh and your mastery of your fist has to be i think lvl 85 but max it out to be safe
Troy Malubag thanks
Hellsing7747 no problem. If you have any other things about disgaea i can answer them
The max for 'mastery' innocents is 2400 I think. That helps
IT'S OVER 9000!!!!
The grinding in this game is incredibly tedious. I'm still having fun.
Voxel Star I just bought Disgaea 5 is there a way that you can help me get my characters like yours?
INTRODUCTION MUSIC PLIS
its not as OP as this but Toto bunny stage 1 is good for lower level sages with land decimator... about 100 zombies? good xp and lots of shards.. EDIT .. Also found it good to have an innocent sun bather on an item.. it gives a 50% chance to sleep enemies. great for when they are comin to get ya lol.
Ugh I’m not getting it. Helllllp me someone please
I just watched the video and have no idea what you're saying, how about just start from complete level 1 or are you saying we REALLY have to complete the game first?
kc 3182x ever play rotmg if so it's that type of level 1
No way, there are too many hours of play, maybe months to get to that result, i better give up
Well if you don't like the game, then yeah it will feel like a slog. But he is right that getting to level 9999 the first time is the slowest, while every time after that goes by really fast. You get as much as you put in.
@@blueskyrobyn I like it,not just a fan but i llke it enough to play the 4 main games and the d2 too.Barely reaches after many days the level 1000 with mao in he third title, but When you are an adult, the priorities are other, however, I recognize that this guide will be useful for those who have more free time as well as for young people, greetings
Pretty based.
i put a single pugilist max subdued innocent and i got the child with 5000 :O
Guide- Grind the shit out of the game for many hours.
There's no truly fast way, but figuring this stuff out and getting there is part of the enjoyment for a lot of people.
Very true though, it can take a while!
I am at lvl 9999 but my stats r shit, even though I'm using alot of shards and extracts
Perhaps you could reincarnate your units for better stats
@@ArthurKH358.2 I've reincarnated my character 25 times
Very informative
Got my first stack of 900
I need it written out.

I don't know where to start after watching this video -- three times. Get a Sage...???...Profit?
This is a pretty late game guide, probably best to get into the post game a little first. I do have a beginner guide to check out and plenty of class guides.
Thank you for watching!
