Depp was asked about drawing a penis on a painting in the house and said he couldn't recall doing that. Heard's attorney later showed text messages from Depp showing him admit that he did draw on items in the house.

It seems to me he is someone who uses dark humour to cope with trauma. Not sure why the court isn’t seeing this and always take what he says and does so literally and at face value.
It's all they can do to attempt to create doubt but as Johnny has explained carefully it's a joke and that he plays guitar and would never chop off fingers as that would harm his ability to play guitar which is what he has done even before he acted.

This attorney sucks lol… he’s asking questions during cross examination for which he doesn’t know with 100% certainty what Depp will answer… he actually arguably helped Depp by giving him the chance to mention that his team tried to protect Amber by leaving her name out of it, which is where the false kitchen knife story came from.
"The false kitchen knife story" came from Depp. As a matter of fact so was the accordian door story and the story that he was protecting her despite his texts to Dr. Kipper where he clearly is not protecting her or blaming her.
I do believe this attorney is attempting to minimize the incident. Pathetic.

This is amazing new ground. A man who is a domestic violence victim who speaks up and is open about everything looking as suave as ever and being a class act the whole way. But he wasn’t a bad person! And when he was sober, he was usually very kind and relaxed. Alcohol does bad things! Drugs too! Everyone should stay away from alcohol and drugs!

Amber’s team play tapes of Johnny moaning and then argue about him drawing pictures and writings in blood, but none of that proves he physically touched Amber. My take away from his behavior is that he is a man who was severely abused by his mom as a child. Amber is abusing him and that rekindles old memories that are painful. Johnny’s way of responding is odd behavior, but it’s not abusive behavior. None of that is proving abuse.
Abuse is not just about physically hitting.

Alot of people do not know how to be in a relationship. It's trial and error but when drugs and alcohol come into the mix , it makes it toxic. I feel Johnny was broken from his childhood but persevered to do something great with his life. He's acknowledge that he's never hit a woman . His past partners had no problem in that area with him. Enter Amber Heard, a narcissist who added fuel to the fire. She is a bully, perhaps psychotic. They had no business being together. Johhny Depp needs to be redeemed on his part he played in this. He deserves justice and to further his amazing acting skills .

Absolutely it is. In this case he lied at the time and created a cover story so not sure (without him pressing charges) how they could proceed with a case. It is interesting though bcz In most domestic violence cases they don’t need the victims consent to press charges. I doubt the statute of limitations is up for any of her assaults. Might come down to the evidence they don’t have to support it. Very interesting though.

I find it funny how Amber Heard’s attorneys tend to throw a lot of “evidence” up on the screen to be viewed/read, but they rarely make a solid point about it. Often after it’s viewed/read they immediately move on to a new topic, or move on after one question that didn’t exactly support the point they were trying to make. Not much of a defense when you constantly leave people to draw their own conclusions, instead of expounding or explaining the relevance. I think they assume the “evidence” is more profound than it is.

The questioning by this lawyer shows clearly his frustration that he is getting nowhere with this line of questions. If Heard didn’t mean Depp in that Oped, why is all of this necessary? Of course the fights wouldnt have helped, but people with those genes dont need a reason to drink. They just love it. They do it when they are happy, sad, busy and stressed or bored...doesnt matter. I don’t usually watch court questioning, do they just ask questions and not discuss or ask why the person on the dock did something?
The trick the defence uses is to only ask questions that make the person look bad, or support their theory. By not letting them fully explain the situation it’s easier to manipulate the narrative.
