That silver paint made it absolutely PERFECT!!!! I was drooling 🤣🤍🤍🤍 And I could listen to a 100 of them being unmolded, that sound is SO satisfying 👐🏻
Hi Julie, I’m currently dealing with some health issues, generally not feeling well and the depressive feelings that accompany acute and long term illness, and some other struggles including trauma. I’ve got insomnia and have had a migraine all day. But, this isn’t really about me, rather you. I’ve practiced the act of 5 gratitudes on and off for some time now, which consists of taking time away from the sadness to focus on blessings, big and small. A repeating one for me is Hot Water🤣 Simple things we take for granted or big things like our kids. Just depends on the day really, but it is full of things I cherish in life and use to try and stay positive. Tonight as I lay here watching your craft (art in many mediums) I added you to that list. All the work you do to prepare execute and teach, I appreciate that. The filming and narrative, usually very thoughtful of us, your viewers, is very cozy and has brought me solace many a day and night. Just wanted you to know your art has helped me and I hope anyone reading this that’s struggling or hurting in these crazy times will give the 5 gratitudes a shot. I haven’t started my art journey yet, but you inspire me to get well so I can. Much love Julie! Thanks for being you, sharing your work, and making my world a better place to heal from. 🙏🏻💝😇
I bet I'm not the only one who talks to the screen when you ask our opinion!! I LOVE the way these turned out! I would use the crystal side as the top. I agree that it would catch the condensation. When you asked about putting the sparkle in, I was saying yes, yes, YES!! SO beautiful! Thanks, Julie! Take care and stay safe!!
Gorgeous 3 on 3 3 bottom 3 top either way they are still gorgeous And when hold it a certain way the sparkle glitter gives it a little hint of shine as well
I love them so much. I love lots of bling! Beautiful outside. You can see all the crystals I love the birds as well. How wonderful to hear those sounds everyday. 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍
I have just came across your videos. Oh Julie you are a very good crafter, & teaching us as you go. I have trouble sleeping and your pouring your heart out has kept me company as well as given me the want to try doing some these. Thank you so much for sharing
Lovely 😊 both sides, depending the circumstances... I would love to see how sparkly and pretty these would be against the window, during a bright, sunshine’s morning day 😊 ☀️ like a sun rays catchers! I want one! Beautiful 😻
These are beautiful I love the simplicity of them and the silver added value. The only thing I take into consideration with clear resin is how quick they will yellow in 12month but if they are going to be appreciate now they are lush. Bling bling all the way.
@@PouringYourHeartOut yes it does I am afraid, even if it state UV protection. Some brands yellow within months some yellow over a year or two. I kept some early projects to see the impact over the years. When you add pigments it isn’t visible or as obvious but alas all Resin Will yellow over time. I even asked my manufacturer who makes it’s and they confirmed. But do your own research. The ones I kept have yellowed but only visible with clear sections mainly or if I have added a flush coat over a white area. I would recommend you do this yourself to see and have your own opinion. It may not be obvious if it’s in your home over time but it’s something that I always take into consideration the reality or Resin. Just wanted to share the knowledge I had as I am torn I love the clear resin in such as your but am always conflict if selling it. But like I said if people are using them immediately shouldn’t be an issue. Hope this hasn’t confused you, hope it has helped your research and make j formed decisions with your beautiful art
I love your art. You inspired me to try one of those draped resin bowels I just finnished casting my first one a few hours ago and I can't wait to unmold it tomorow!!!! If it turns out half as good as yours i will be over the moon!!! Thank you so much for the insperation
I love them!!!! I love the sparkle and probably would add even a bit more sparkle. I would use the Crystal side up because it's sooooo pretty!!! Great Job Julie!!! 💕💕💕💕GORGEOUS!!!(no surprise there lol, you always do such wonderful, beautiful work!!!)
I love these, they are so pretty. I am in the U.K. and just went on eBay to try to find your mold. They only had them from Australia, and it would cost over £100 with P & P !! Need to try and find one closer to home because you have really inspired me to make some. Thank you x
💜💎💎💜 so stunning and elegant! Your work is always some thing I expect to see at a high-end boutique but then again you have your own. I’d love to see each new mold come out. I too am Crystal side up but I think I would change it around for occasion depending on what glasses I’m using. Bling bling all the way! 💎 💎
I would use the coasters smooth side down. If you set some glasses on smooth surfaces they hydroplane, but on the rough surface they would be more stable. I would still put feet on the base to prevent the coaster from sliding around.
Those are wonderful, I have a coaster I made with the druzy insert, and I use the rough side...ik know they're even prettier live that on screen. Lovely!! 🥰
Well, only a year later (!), but I just love the simple, sparkly elegance of these coasters! The silver edging...so perfect! You have such good taste and artistic flair that comes through in all your projects. ❤ Oooh...what if...you used a teensy tiny bit of interference gold powder when making these? Ohmigosh...I gotta try that!
How about using clear in the center and letting it set, then add a bold color around the edge! Or using them in a larger round as a insert (like you have done with the paper flowers) and then fill with a bold color! They are beautiful!!!
The silver really pop the druzy. Idea to pop bubbles put the mold in a full. Baking sheet or on a piece of plywood. So you can pick it up a couple inches and then drop so the shock should release trapped air bubbles. Thanks again Ricky 🍷😎
I was thinking to use the popsicle stick to push on the bottom of the mold to release the bubbles then you did it! Course I also kept thinking 'more glitter!' lol. they came out really pretty! they look like crushed glass or ice!
Hi Julie. I know this is an older video and I’ve purchased other molds from you but don’t see this druzy crystal coaster mold in your eBay shop. Is this one something you still make? Love your videos and all the projects you show us how to make. Learned so much from you. Thanks.
Lovely! I wonder what would be the effect if one tinted the resin black...or another dark color? Would they still be as reflective and sparkly...? Lots to explore here!
I actually think these would be stunning to use in a bathroom as a back splash by the sink It would look expensive but cost very little compared to a look alike tile. Even in the kitchen I could find several reasons to use them. Could you use it as a trivet to sit hot pans on?
I love watching your videos! Very informative. Have you tried spritzing a light mist of 91$ or 99% alcohol in your mold before pouring and after bubbles rise to the top instead of using your torch? It works for me and I don't get any molds that are melted or stuck. What white have you found works the best for cells, lacing, and 3d coasters? Is it possible to put all the information into a list form or one video with the waiting times after mixing? Also including the information about when you mix the ink with the pigments for the different effects explaining the weights ect to achieve the best 3d resin pieces please?
Julie, I have just started watching your videos today. And I love your creations, instructions, personality! I definitely have your Druzy Moulds on my "to buy" list now. My question is: u don't look to use a mould release beforehand. What are your thoughts on it, others say it protects the life of the moulds and makes it easier to get the pieces out. As the Druzy Mould is $$ I don't want to ruin it.
@Marti Stinson I know this is a year later, but these are not druzy inserts, but a one-piece mold. 🙂 She *does* sell separate druzy inserts, though, in her eBay store, as well as this mold she is using today. HTH?
I would use crystal side up. Also i was like yay she has extra resin do a heart do a heart and then you didn't the hearts would make such pretty key chains!
Please do a tutorial video on how you make your silicon molds
That silver paint made it absolutely PERFECT!!!! I was drooling 🤣🤍🤍🤍 And I could listen to a 100 of them being unmolded, that sound is SO satisfying 👐🏻
I'm seeing Christmas ornaments and hanging light catchers! Can't resist a pretty sparkle! Love it!

I have silicone 'brushes' that work well to get into all the nooks snd crannies. It helps to get rid of bubbles in a rough surface.
