That small sequence at 0:42 with Prince of Egypt and Fantasia is so beautifully edited. Probably my favorite thing about this edit overall, it’s not just scenes cut to match the beat, some sit for a little longer and some mix together to play their own sequence. Love it
The text at 0:03 blows my mind. The animators hand-drawing the vast majority of frames earn less than 2$ an hour, and often less than 1$. How is this possible when the anime industry is bigger than ever?
With how fast AI has been trying to take over the industry, this truly hits so much harder. AI will never be able to recreate the passion and power that people have brought and still bring into their works, AI will never replace the beauty of animation, the animation that’s been made by human hands. Animation will always be human. Never AI.
Anime and Western animation are siblings. One is not better than the other. Together, they help illuminate the creative path of man in this dark and unforgiving cosmos.

Myself and a friend mix them ourselves - ill see if I can dig it out but it was a version of the song slowed to 84% in audacity and edited, increased the bass a bit, added reverb and echo.

It is my dream to be an animator, or take some sort of occupation similar. When I read those documents, I realized how mistreated they can be sometimes. But their job creates mind blowing, eccentric, and awing fictitious realities that still capture my heart and mind today. The amount of hurt I feel for those who put passion and a lot of time in the hardest form of animation just to be mistreated is phenomenal, and I hope it changes one day

They cover all its aspects; its ambition, brilliance, intelligence, philosophy, thoughts and most importantly of all; endurance and passions coveted with blood and sweat. I look at these animation to see man/woman creating art upon a mirror of reflections to the world.
Whenever I see these I remind myself that this isn’t gone. During these periods there were trash animated movies too. And there are still bangers today. You just gotta know where to look

Commercial Animation used to be a medium for brilliant films and art, now its mostly an engine for profit. Sure, we have been getting some great gems in the modern day, but nothing comes close to the beautiful hand drawn works of the golden age. It also breaks my heart to see how animators get treated by the big studios that hire them. A problem especially in the west the how much the studio itself doesn't appreciate animation at all (cough Big D cough)

There's a certain magic in animation like this, taking the time to fully realize a scene with its colors and sounds. And each movie has its own style and feel. Ghost in the Shell and Akira are both Cyberpunk but handle their stories differently, Ghost being more focused on potential cyber crimes and technologies and Akira seeing a new stage of evolution. It's sad to see everything is either 3d or a collection of stand still shots nowadays with minor exceptions from scene to scene. nothing can compare to this. This is art in every sense of the word.
Editing is fantastic. I'm very new to editing, yet can tell its perfectly timed, and at all the right moments. I love the song too, if you did that as well, its even crazier
@@ghemas25 There was a massive takedown wave a bit ago - tons of other versions also hit and taken down including a very good Berserk one. Since then it seems they haven't done it again as much which is odd because I have seen at least 1 other video which had lifted my audio directly from the original version still up while if I actually try to re-upload the original now its autoblocked at the upload phase, its frustrating.
Ghibi studio my favorite (idk if I typed it right) Moses The Prince Of Egypt is also my favorite. But this is the best, coolest, nostalgic vibe, edit ever. ❤
