Your point about revealing knives on your channel. Along with Slicey Dicey, Shabazz, Bearded Gear, it is great to be able to view and get your perspective about the knife anatomy. I have learned so much about the different knife makers and retailers. Thanks for put this content out.
I have a gen 1 delica which I turned into a sheep’s foot (the tip was damaged). It ended up being my favorite knife for farm work. A sheep’s foot para 3 is basically my fantasy grail knife.
Man, that Spyderco wharncliffe looks sweet. To bad I can't get it, but I like when you show knives I can't get or afford. At least I can get a good look at them on your channel, so thanks.
I like it, but not enough to fight for one. Got the Knives Plus Dragonfly 2 in acid wash regrind wharncliffe. It’s a great 5th pocket and or package opener that is visually cool while not being crazy if used in front of non-knife people.
Spyderco knives present different blade shapes, yes, but I think what’s most important about them are the steels they develop because I would say that they revolutionize the knife industry ... thanks for your reviews I really enjoy them ... thanks to your previous review I just ordered a Native 5 in Maxamet ...
These alternative blade shape PM2s need to be production models! Love the Tanto and can never get one. Imagine this will be the same.... Remember the first time I held a PM2.... Super awesome ergos
For sure, same -I also hated Spyderco for a long time based on looks alone. And my response to everyone that says the wharnie is ugly has been “all Spydercos are ugly.” Lol. I got the pm2 wharnie, but I already loaned it out and it’s getting sharpened. I hope to see a para3, and more premium steel runs in the future. I prefer the para3, personally, but plan to try out this pm2 wharnie as a workhorse until said other wharnies drop.
SPYDERCO PLEASE MAKE THIS A NORMAL PRODUCTION MODEL!!! I love the Wharncliffe blade shape. I was almost going to buy the Pacific salt LC 200 knife in Wharncliffe but it's only 3 in long for the blade, too short for me, I actually need a blade that's three and a half inches or longer, I have large hands.
Also please make a shaman in wharncliffe blade shape! I love the original Shaman and it's blade shape but that would just be very cool with the other blade shape too!
Having large hands whose fingers rarely fit into choils, I appreciate that there is separation from the edge. It does look weird though but so do Spydercos in general to me.
@@inquisitorgramaticus2250 yup Mc was even saying in a vid a while back (Think it was a giveaway) that the canis is a really nice knife totally worth it
@@desertsmeagol7073 I'm still making my way back through his catalogue of vids so I will see it here soon, I've only really just started watching m.c and he puts out a whole lot lol ive quite a bit of catching up to do , cheers 👍
Thanks M.C.‼️ VERY, VERY COOL!!! I would love to see that go into production. As you said she's no beauty queen for some but I like it and I like using Wharncliffes at work. Good to see Spyderco didn't crank up the price. Stay safe, stay sharp 👍🇺🇸👍🔪
I love the tanto version but this one just looks a little funny imo. I know the blade shape is very useful, I just can’t get passed the look of this warncliffe. It’s definitely got an odd look to me. Just my opinion though.
Now that's pretty. As I've mentioned, I generally find Spydercos a little boring, but every now & then one comes out that reminds me why I still follow their releases, & this is one I'd very much like to own!
Actually a guy has one for sale on a spyderco group on fb, for $200 right now. This video popped up as soon as I saw his post. Literally the same time. Creepy Edit: Spyderco millie, pm2, para3 group
It's not your fault there are knives like this that we can't get, it's the manufacturer's fault. I think Nick Shabazz made a video about the laziness of current knife manufacturers. These "Sprint runs" that are different blade shapes and different blade steels are laughable. Sprint runs should be color variations. If people want a Tanto PM2 in M4 then it's on Spyderco. Give the people what they want. Innovate. Change your designs. Take risks. Rant over, nice vid MC
We like seeing variations of our favorite knives even if theyre not available. and even if they look like the bubonic plague doctor masks.
LOL!!!
That’s why I love it
Its looks exacly like a plague doctor mask
Wait, am I the only one who thinks the PM2 is a beautiful knife? I love the lines on the standard PM2.
Wharancliffe, sheepsfoot, reverse tanto, those are pretty much all I buy
A good reverse tanto is hard to beat
Don't forget the one with the Emerson Wave😉
Holy bloody moly that’s actually beautiful 🤩
The tanto: beautiful
The wharnecliffe: beautiful
The Emerson wave one: nahhhh

A beauty. My little Plague Doctor
Lmfao! Is it just me or do they look like a pterodactyl skull? 🤔🤣

OMG, finally it became a real model!!!! PLEASE Spyderco, make this as an option for us wharncliffe fans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Waved PM2 is from Blade Ops

I love Spyderco Knifes. Multiple lock styles I enjoy.

More blade shapes is great but I don’t dig so many exclusives. Btw, the Emerson wave PM2 was BladeOps.
These alternative blade shape PM2s need to be production models! Love the Tanto and can never get one. Imagine this will be the same.... Remember the first time I held a PM2.... Super awesome ergos
Yes that is such a useful Blade shape, I’d like to see a lot more Brands offer that.. cool Video
Spyderco used to say their knives are built for the hand and not the eye. That fits their design aesthetic to the tee.
For sure, same -I also hated Spyderco for a long time based on looks alone. And my response to everyone that says the wharnie is ugly has been “all Spydercos are ugly.” Lol.

Really like that blade. I am in the "I hate how Spyderco's look" camp, but lately I have really been wanting to try one out
I managed to snag one of these and it immediately became my favorite work knife. I love it!
Didn’t know, but I need that in my life. Beautiful.
Agree, would love to see ones more available.
But kinda glad 💰
Would be in poor house for good.
Love them Spyderco's!😁
Not a big fan of spyderco with the hump by thumb hole...but I do like native and efficient.

It bothers me so much that the cutting edge don't go down to the finger choil. It's like they oversharpened it at the factory.
Having large hands whose fingers rarely fit into choils, I appreciate that there is separation from the edge. It does look weird though but so do Spydercos in general to me.
Wow, a wharncliff PM2, thats freaking strange, I like it! Any news on the Protech Rockeye drop? I'm chomping at the bit over here!
What’s your thoughts on the CTS XHP shaman coming out? I like it
I didn't know about that! I'll take a look 👍👍
@@metal_complex yea cutleryshope tomorrow at 10am mountain time 👍
It looks like they cut down the end of the tip and turn it around.
Love seeing new versions but Spyderco really needs to stop the exclusive limited run stuff.
Another spyderco yes one of my favorites brands
up the video pops, I hear Wharncliffe and Spyderco, very very sweet
what do you think of the canis folks?
The canis is worth every dollar. Really nice spyderco 👍

So here’s the thing: I have a civivi praxis and two kids. EVERY knife you show is not available to me XD still good content!
I am dying to own this knife. I love this new model
looks better in what cliff imo. looks like a bird beak

Para 3 needs the same treatment
Useless knife stuff for $300 Alex
Dealer exclusive Emerson Wave Opener PM2
What is BladeOps?
Correct
Love to own that jewel
My goodness what a hideous looking knife. Thanks!
:/
I neeeed this!!
Australian blade
What’s the “specialness” of a Wharncliffe? 😂

Wharncliffe blades are stupid. The tip does all the work, get dull fast.
Love the PM2 but that thing is F-U-G-L-Y FUGLY.
🦅💀
Just when I thought the PM2 couldn’t get any uglier...
This is an ugly blade shape imo.
