Excellent review and video! While looking at Newgrahamknives website a week and a half ago, found a Cutleryshoppe Shaman exclusive with DLC coated blade available and picked it up immediately. Had no regrets on the purchase. Now I'm waiting for REC to offer their avocado Shaman again. Have a good one brother!

These are the GiantMouse Ace Grand and the Koenig Arius in a fairly standard Titanium Variant but without a Flipper which can be a bit of a grey area for Knives in the UK. Think there's a release of the Giantmouse Ace Grand coming soon, and there are a couple of Dealers over in Europe and the UK who stock, however I might have to be a bit more patient for the Arius as, of the big US Stockists, only DLT and Knifecenter will ship to the UK. Hey Jake. Just caught your review on the Harsey Folder Runes and Staves Edition there. I love that Knife which I've had for just over a year, other than the tolerances between the Secondary Scale and the Framelock Bar which are way too big for a knife in this price range. Incidently on your Harsey Video, I noticed your hand dexterity in relation to changing the knife from grip to grip! How do you do that! I'm well impressed!!?? Mark. 🤔
Incidently, just got my Arius that I was looking for from a dealer in Germany, " Toolsforgents" worked out at about 575 Pounds for Standard Titanium with polished flats and Titanium anodized hardware. How does that compare to US prices!? Very impressed though, so thanks for the great review which certainly helped to inform my purchase. Regards. Mark
Hi Jake. I have Terotuff Seafoam Green Scales on a blacked out Shaman which I think looks amazing. These were put on after your initial vid on the Terotuff Scales with your Satin Shaman. I must admit I've never been a fan of the factory G10 scales in any colour for the Shaman. There just too smooth for me. Mark
Hi Jake, guess what? Finally found a new Koenig Arius Gen4 titanium with the patterned handle and satin flats.. I bought it from a friend for 850. Granted it’s above retail, but not a massive amount right? Can’t wait to get ahold of it. I bet it will be my favorite like you. Carrying my Gen2 Vero Synapse in end cut carbon fiber. That thing is amazing too. Anyway just psyched and wanted to share.
All Spydercos made in usa i look at and think. If this didnt have a hole in the blade and 9 extra holes drilled to mount 4 pocket clips i might be interested. I have a Pro Tech SNG which is basicly that but i like just like knives and it's frustrating sometimes, i'd like to try out a Shaman but thats a deal breaker for me. There is after market scales wothout the holes but you still have all those holes underneath and you can get a black coated blade that helps with fingerprints on the blade with the hole opening but man thats a lot of hoops to jumpbthrough just to try out a different model.
Best and safest way to clean these? I just bought a BNIB on eBay and it showed up with a scuff near the Spyderco etching towards the base of the blade. Hoping it’s a material transfer and new to DLC
I thought about snagging one of these myself, but I already have an M4 Shaman, and I've decided I'm not going to buy multiples of the same knife anymore. That being said..I'm anxiously awaiting the drop of the Cruwear and micarta PM2, 😂 I had my M4 Shaman reground nice and thin by Brian @TransparentKnives, and a nub delete. It turned an already good knife into an absolutely GREAT knife! I also threw a set of micarta scales on it. I like it so much better now. It's a good slicer with the regrind! #geometrymatters
I have the same one and the scales seem too sharp leaving a lot of hot spots and for some reason the balde action has stayed very stiff. This is my first Shaman and to tell the truth I’m a little disappointed with it. Do think switching the scales will help?
