Normally I don't think it best for a singer to distort the line so much in order to convey more emotional heft, but Corelli is perfect here - his vocal acting seems to rise up internally, from the real soul of a man caught in an impossible bind. And of course he's got the voice to do it better than anyone else! The entire performance must have been riveting, breathtaking. 🎉

Quello che sta facendo in questa performance è il clone di Del Monaco...lui stesso sosteneva di studiare anche sui dischi di Mario...e questa ne è la prova lampante di ciò che ho scritto...la differenza è solo in "la mia vergogna Ahimè" ...Francone lo esegue con un fiato centrale,mentre Mario lo fa d'un fiato!!! Il resto è tale e quale identico...2 fuoriclasse che hanno fatto di Dick Johnson,un personaggio irripetibile...grazie e saluti
