I already commented on your video but I forgot to introduce myself... greetings from Croatia, Europe from a retired firefighter biker, All the best on your journey
Ditto to all the remarks on your work and your adventures. Always a real pleasure to view your channel. That AT cannot have such bad shocks with you guys carting a small house along with you and them holding up so well, even if they are standard issue !!
Thank you so much!!! I upgraded suspension in Santiago, Chile in 2019. I was writing solo with half of the gear on that leg of the trip, and by the time I arrived in Chile the rear shock was so blown that the bike would literally fall over on the side stand... 😂 I
You never disappoint, another masterful episode. Loved the recap, it really filled in the gaps. Always adventures within the adventure. Ride well you two. Cheers
Greetings to you both, as a new addition to my lineup to my TH-cam channel I just wanted to take a minute to say how much I enjoy your moto travels, I’m Rob from Alabama and an avid rider on two wheels myself, anyway just wanted to say how much I appreciate your channel, I have not looked to see exactly where I am in your travels yet and will eventually go back and forward to catch up, your either still in South America or, anyway will figure it out, and your logo, has to be one of the best, safe travels and awaiting your next post from wherever, safe travels. Rob
@@TwoWheelsThreeSheets I have owned a 2011 Roadglide cvo for years, just retired that bike I called her ole Betty, just got the new 2023 Roadglide, me and my riding buddy I take these long trips with both ride roadglides and avid long haulers riders, gearing up for our next adventure coming soon, last summer Newfoundland, this year across Canada again head over to B.C., we’re both in our 60s so trying to get the most out of life and then some. That trip down in Patagonia is incredible and a place I always wanted to venture into, so where exactly are you now, are you still down there?
Awesome!! Canada has some incredible riding! If you have a chance check out our 2nd season, when I ventured to the Arctic. We highlight some great riding through the northern Rockies, including the icefield Parkway and Going to the Sun Road! BC, Yukon and NWT are incredible as well, just do yourself a favor and avoid the Canadian summer vacation season! We're in Brazil now about to cross into Paraguay!
@@TwoWheelsThreeSheets yes I’ve already done B.C. a few times and the ice fields and took my ole roadie up to Alaska, you guys be safe out there, and thanks for your reply, unlike others you DO reply means a hell of a lot to this old guy, hang in there and keep sunny side up
It really didn't become an issue until we tried to depart Terra del Fuego in late 2022... Since then, it hasn't been too much of a problem, although it is an inconvenience at times... 😑
Improvised grommets for the win. Nice! What’s the smallest bike (cc wise) you’ve seen in your travels that was traveling significant distances? LOVE THE VIDEOS!
You got to do what you got to do!! Smallest?? I've seen people all over on 150cc Chinese bikes. Is far as smaller displacement "Adventure bikes" are concerned, 300 cc is more than capable!
Unfortunately the Argentinian economy is in a death spiral. Between inflation and duties you'll pay double for a lot of common items, if you can get them at all. Just for fun I priced out a pair of tires that would normally go at around $350 in the US - they were over $1,400 USD in Argentina! 😬
Argentinians regularly go to Chile to buy new tires. During covid, when the borders were closed, half of Argentina was driving around on bald tires!! 😬
Bummer about your business going tits up. Every cloud and all that. Kept your souls at The Crossroads I'd say. I emery cloth the clutch steel plates on my bikes when needed. Not around, but inner to outer. Makes the clutch grip the friction plates better, so it don't burn itself out lugging. So options? 1. Sponsored mini series, following you two's adventure? 2. Sell an organ or two on the black market? 3. Learn musical instruments, playing Tonight Only live gigs in the town square you chance upon that day to cost cover the next days adventure? 4. Go full on Bonnie and Clyde mode?. Thanks for the look around. Smile on you two, the world's now your oyster 😎
Ha! Thanks for the suggestions! No one would want my organs, and neither of us can play an instrument.. .So I guess it's either Bonnie and Clyde or the sponsored mini-series... 😬😁
@@TwoWheelsThreeSheets I vote Bonnie and Clyde mode!!. After your 1st bank job you could then maybe afford a decent rear shock, which kinda ticks the musicians box. New Ohlins 😎 (I'll show myself out)
the third world in all its splendor!!!!! 😂 we in argentina are already used to it but for those who come from abroad it is all bureaucracy it must be a pain in the ass
Honestly, the bureaucracy in Argentina isn't nearly as bad (from an Outsiders point of view) as a lot of other counties we've encountered! The economy though... that's pretty rough! 😪 I'm honestly not sure how y'all are managing to survive... 😬
@@TwoWheelsThreeSheets Each passing year is worse than the last before ! we get used to surviving while the politicians live luxurious lives with our money! There is a candidate for president name Javier milei who wants to open the economy and dolarize the country!! if this ain't working we doomed for ever! 😞

Superb as usual....and surrounded by fantastic scenery
Rosie chilling out with her feet in the river..while Chad makes wee rubber grommets..
Stay safe
Thank you! Can you believe we filmed the whole thing in the same Studio as the moon landing!?!? 😂
And whose grommets are you calling wee???
Another masterfully edited and narrated episode, filled with scenic views. I'm in aw of your adventure. Thank you for sharing. Eric

No, that's something entirely different... 🤪
Beautiful scenes and a Jazz fusion soundtrack. I wanted more. Awesome video.

WOW ...what you guys have been through. Grate attitudes you both have..
Well, you either laugh or cry... and we've done plenty of both, but the crying isn't nearly as entertaining! 😁🍻
You are living the life what most of us can only imagine…. Enjoy every aspect of it..

Good stuff, I've been watching all your videos. How many miles do you have on your AT?
Awesome, thank you for the support!
I think we're just north of 60k km... so probably closing it on 40,000 miles
@@TwoWheelsThreeSheets Wow, that's a lot, a lot of great memories. If you guys keep posting i'll keep watching.

Moto hobo’s. I love it.
Well, moto and hobo both have 4 letters, so it kind of works.... "homeless on two wheels" doesn't really have the same ring to it. 😁
How many kms are on your Africa Twin?
It's a 2018 or 2019?
Great videos!
Thanks!! It's a 2017 with just over 60k on the clock...

But if they had, imagine how impressed they would have been to find a clutch!! 😳
