I cannot believe the guitar player can play that good without using his index finger! Wow major respect to him for not giving up! I would have probably quit playing if my index finger was cut off.
I never liked Zakks pinch harmonics. He over uses them and, to me, the tone is too compressed, making them sound mushy. Two contrasting examples of perfect harmonics, Eagles Hotel California and RR live Children of the Grave. Respectively, tasteful embellishment to a perfect song and incendiary crescendos to a perfect cover.
Yeah and to top it off his lost most of his index finger so he is playing with the remaining three! It is almost impossible to play really good without a index finger yet this guy did it! Major respect to him!
@@padywac1970 You need to get out a bit more. This was a bar band performance at best. You are right he wasn't perfect - he was average and he did not do it justice. There are much better on youtube. The drummer as well. If you are going to be a tribute band, learn the material. The drummer was a mess frankly and should learn how to play it properly. And yes Randy, was a perfectionist but when he played, even the few taped versions we have, he was bloody awesome and accurate. He would not be proud of the way this guy played but probably would be proud that people are still listening to and playing his music.

I had a manager who at least was working on getting me a booking at the House of Blues in Dallas for a "meet and greet" but they chose an Anna Nicole Smith impersonator instead. I guess tits trump ticks. I decided to scrap the idea simply because things just weren't falling into place for me with it.

To really appreciate the guitar in this song, just put mr Crowley after hours show in the search bar. And Randy does indeed make a mistake in it, makes a funny face and keeps going.

I think he's pretty much got it down. I started playing hair guitar and all things Ozzy in 1985. Was 15. This is the first time I'd ever seen these guys. I could do without the pinch harmonics, Randy opted to skip them, so they shouldn't be in there. Other than that, I was pretty impressed with this dude's program.
This 'Ozzy' doesnt fit with the 'Zakk' because of his shirt with Ozzy written on it and the tassles major time misdemeanour here, Ozzy didnt wear that top during the Zakk years so a major thumbs down for that 👎Reguarding the sound of the band not too bad at all

A tribute band should sound like one. Singer is good but the drummer is off and not playing the song correctly. It seems a bit slow as well. Guitarist is off as well. Just my opinion.
