It's always important to keep the base line you're comparing it to in view. Compared to buying liters of soda (or some "healthy" alternative) in plastic bottles, it might still be better. A single pod lasts/is supposed to last for 5-6 liters, that's a lot of plastic bottles.

The reason products like Air Up give you a weird feeling is that you only smell it when you inhale. When you eat or drink normal foods you also smell the food on the exhale because there is air circulating from your mouth back up to your nose. Your brain is very smart and actually is able to sort of ''subtract'' the smells from the inhale from the smells of the exhale. That way you know you taste something you are eating and not just something in your environment. Imagine eating a dessert at a restaurant when the table next to you is eating sizzling chicken fajitas, you smell the fajitas but you taste your dessert. These products can only ''sort of'' trick your brain, but can't fully trick your brain.

That's fascinating and explains the range in responses. I'd imagine there's an average range where most people's sensitivities to taste and aroma fall, and product testing cycles would likely lead the manufacturer to shape the product for that range's preferences. If you're an edge case in either direction then it's going to be unpleasant. I am like Grackle and usually experience fruit teas as "a blueberry once sneezed in this water" so I am definitely not the target consumer for that thing...

A lot of the fruit teas I’ve personally had have the exact opposite problem- I find them too often horrifically over saturated with fruit flavor.
If I have peach tea, the peach flavor punches me in the face. It’s ok with peach, specifically, but I had a blueberry one once… blueberry tastes real shit when it’s over concentrated.
Had a“Bubble gum tea” at some point that had little chunks of like, apple & hibiscus in which was pretty stellar though. You could taste fruitiness, but ALL the ingredients sort of blended together to create a cohesive flavor.

Manfred Mann's Earth Band tried selling literal earth with each record, they wanted to do a special edition album which buying it would entitle you a piece of land from Scotland the size of their album cover square and thus make you a "laird"
They then discovered that they couldn't advertise this due to the law being that you can't part sell land in that way.
The law in the UK is that anyone can refer to themselves however they want as long as they aren't defrauding someone or committing some other such crime.
So you can be "Barry" the big builder from Essex but tell your bank you want them to address you as Mrs Wendy Tiddlesworth, you don't legally have to change your name or chop your nob off, you're allowed to just ask and companies will generally comply.
You can't however be Barry the builder and say you want to be addressed as Dr Barry on all your mail and then use this as "proof" for why people should buy a medicine you recommend.
Lord is just another title like Mr or Dr or Admiral. So if you want to be addressed as "Lord Voldemort" then you can just ask your bank to do that and then ask for a new card and it'll be on there.

I had a Casetify case, not because everyone had one, but because they were one of the only places that had a good variety of designs for the iPhone SE, which has been my phone of choice for a few years. I honestly still have that case, it still fits, no problems unless you count me being nitpicky about the ugly white border.
However, to save on the international shipping, I switched over to a Canadian company, Kaseme. The cases are similar enough, and since the border is black I never notice.

i've had 2 casetify cases, and i really can't justify getting one again. i loved their designs and their durability, which are the things that drew me in. for the first time ever i wanted a clear case since i got a cool colored phone, and i liked that they had designs that could show it off. and in my experience they did protect my phone well, even one time when it fell from my pocket onto rough cement. there was actually a scratch in the case right on the corner where it landed after that but the phone was totally fine. so at the start things were great.
where it went wrong was with time. i am not the kind of person to change phone cases with every outfit. i get one case and use that forever, almost always until i get a new phone which i don't do until i have to, so i have had other cases for multiple years. with BOTH the casetify cases i had, they began to degrade severely around the one-year point. first the design started to flake off the back since there is nothing sealing it in. this resulted in the design i loved so much beginning to disappear, as well as little flakes of paint/whatever it is CONSTANTLY being on my hands or clothes or couch, wherever my phone had been. these didn't stain anything and could be brushed off, but it was constant. but then after that, BOTH TIMES, the soft sides began to separate from the hard back, i think you got the same style i had. at first it was a little section i could mostly ignore, but quickly it became so bad the phone could not stay in the case. the only reason i even tried it a second time is because with the first one i had fidgeted a lot with the edge by the volume buttons over time, so thought it was my fault, and with the second one i was extremely careful and conscious not to do that. still around the same timing it fell apart in the same way. it was awful. and 1 year is the longest time for a warranty from them, so it feels SUPER sketchy to have had it fall apart TWICE just after that. i emailed them about it even though it was no longer under warranty, and all they had to say was that i could have a 15% discount, which you can find on your own through any person who's been sponsored by them. it was ridiculous.
i feel like the quality of the phone case along with the way they advertise makes it seem like they expect you to use these more like a fashion thing. if you're someone who swaps the case out all the time to match your outfits or just try out different designs, maybe it lasts longer than one getting daily wear and tear for a year. but they're so damn expensive that the very idea of having a whole collection to rotate through feels absurd.

Like I love those cute, pretty phone cases that are thin and usually nicely stylised, but I know my phone is dead in the water if I buy one of them. So for my past, I believe 4 phones now, I have bought pretty much the exact same phone case for each phone! And while I would secretly love to change it up, they just work wonders for me and I am living by the motto of it ain't broke then don't fix it! I know a lot of people have already said that they love their wild deodorants and I too have stayed true to them for nearly 2 years now. I also got my boyfriend, my sister and my mom hooked on them. It gives proper instructions on the website on how to use and it also says there that your sweat glands need to get used to the natural deodorant. As to how to use properly: you have to rub it in a little bit so it doesn't stain your shirts and to make it work better. I've used mine at home, on holiday, at work...never been disappointed. I keep the minis in my backpacks and bags and even though they are like a paper, they've been holding up really well!! So, i don't know if all that makes it worth to have another proper go with them. But that is obviously up to you.

if you use normal deo/anti persperant it does take a few days for your body to adjust and in that time you can still smell a bit, but after that you'd smell lovely! and re the packaging, they are zero waste and so those sample tubes are all compostable which is why they don't have the plastic twist ups and will feel a bit flimsy. I 100% get your initial dislike, but give it a solid go (as in, a week or so without using other deodorants) and you'd most likely be a convert! :)

i tried wild a few years ago and i just could not get used to it. i was just constantly paranoid that i smelled and that with going without my standard deodorant for a couple weeks. and i wasn't even doing a lot of strenuous activity, i was sat at my desk most of the time and i just felt sweatier than ever

Lmao yes, and it's very unlikely you're actually malnourished to require a greens supplement. Unless you cannot eat greens (and in that case I would recommend just seeing nutricionist) you absolutely don't need to drink that!!!

I have 1 gymshark top, I got it in a second hand shop. I was so so happy to find something of that quality and popularity. I could never spend so much money on active wear otherwise so it was my ultimate lucky day.
It’s truly of great quality. It’s thick, breathable and nicely fitting. Can’t say a single bad world about it.
It’s a long sleeve skintight shirt (?) btw with the small zipper in the neckline.
Quality stuff, you just need the right size.

I just started using Wild too a few weeks back and have no complaints! I'm not a particularly sweaty person so maybe I can't test the limits too well, but I love the scents, have no issue with the application/feel, and I can actually get a whiff of it myself sometimes which I love
Its expensive but most natural deodorants are.

For a protein bar that isn’t ass and is actually good. I really love Robert irvines Fit crunch! I’ve only had the baked bars but it seems like they also have wafer bars. If you are in the market for protein bars lol.

Estrid is GREAT for the first use. But the lubricant runs out ridiculously fast like after the first use. You can’t use it after then, Becuase it’s too abrasive. Also, I’ve had to replace the handle twice Becuase it gets mouldy in the nooks and crannies. It also easily breakable if you drop it in the shower etc.
and I kid you not, my hair grows back so fast after using Estrid, almost like it encouraged hair growth 😂.
The suction holder also stops sticking to the wall after a while :/

gotta say casetify is one sponsored thing i've bought and actually love. the designs on the back do start to wear away but the protection for the phone is so good. after i cracked my screen with a cheap cute case i can't go back! and ones like otter box annoy me with how thick they are

Idk if you heard but casetify got into a lot of trouble because it was found out that they stole case designs from Dbrand and got sued for it. Glad to hear they were well made but still not cool from their part ^^
On a brighter note: ty for making this video cos as you said, I was really curious about those branded deals. There are brands I have never heard of but hey, it helps to know those too :D

Best protein bar is Barebell crispy cream flavor (sky blue and black packaging) and the cookies and cream flavor (black and white packaging). Only protein bar that doesn’t taste like protein, basically a candy bar, only 200 calories for 20g of protein!! I highly recommend.
I don’t think it’s naturally the healthiest, but if you are on the go and need something to eat, this will do the trick. If you want something sweet but still get some nutrition, this will also do the trick.

Primark have the best workout gear, lidl too! However, castify is definitely worth it! I have broken every screen on every upgrade, as little as 7 days after getting the phone. When i bought my first castify phone case (using a discount code from one of my fav youtubers), i did not break the screen of that phone over the 3yrs i had it. I just got a few upgrade a few months ago and wouldnt touch the phone until my castify case came. Ive never had their screen protectors though.

You do NOT need a deodorant "on the go" if you just use a regular 2 dollar one from one of the many regular brands.
They keep you non-smelly for around 48h but use once a day you are 100% certain to not smell bad.

I actually really like Wild - your body needs a week or so to get used to it, and it isn’t an anti-perspirant so you have to get used to sweating a bit, but I think it really works and I like not having endless plastic/metal deodorant packaging to throw away! Also once you have a case on it, the pushing up from the bottom/packaging is much easier to use!

  • @bimaloxley

I really love wild! Especially the purple flavour, best deodorant I've had and it's plastic free. It prob feels cheapy because it saves le planet :)

  • @isobelmay4544
    @isobelmay4544 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

I absolutely love wild deodorant. It hasn't worked for you yet because it takes a week or so for the natural deodorant to work. Also try lots of different scents for example I didn't get on with the first scent I got (coconut and vanilla) but once I used orange and neroli or some of the limited edition scents my pits didn't smell bad at all. The only thing I don't like is that it isn't a anti perspirant so it doesn't stop sweat. But overall I highly recommend. You just need to give it a chance to work (a week or so).

i used to be a casetify FIEND. when i was out working a lot it was the only case i'd buy. i dropped my phone when doing truck unloading at my old retail job and it fell out of the truck facefirst and didnt break. i do genuinely believe they're great, and worth the price, bc i had my cases for 2+ years
