This was amazingly well put together AND presented. This is one of those rare presentation that I can easily comprehend, make sense of it, and retain the information. It does not feel overwhelming and makes me feel like I can do it, and that this can actually be an enjoyable activity to do! Thank you!

Oh, I am sorry, I should have known that you go by Celsius not Fahrenheit! So, 5 to 10 C, I think in winter is 40-50F? Mine of course MUST be potted so I can overwinter them in my greenhouse.
I do know in the ground where they grow naturally or places like Italy and Israel etc, they can get quite old, the Bible mentions olives too. I don't expect mine to get big in a pot, maybe just 4-5 feet and that is maybe a little more than a meter. I think 4 feet is a meter, plus maybe a mans shoe size more, average mans foot size. Even if I don't ever get any olives on my 2 Olive trees, the tree is a nice tree for looks.
    Thanks for the reply.

Hi! thank you for the video! i bought my small olive tree, and it was in a soil that looks more like a clay rather than regular soil used for plants. Seller told me to not do any re-potting (as this is the right soil for the tree) and i followed this advise, but now the tree sheds its leaves and almost one half of the trea left without them. So now i am confused, should i repot it in a mix that you showed or leave it as it is now.

  • @davidhall75

Olives are fruits. And you know that.
So why say it? Why lie? Anyone who knows botany well enough to know what a drupe is obviously knows the definition of a fruit.
