Great in depth comparison. As for the suspensions on the Slash, I read that somewhere (or heard) that Traxxas intentionally makes them too soft to allow body rolling at top (and stiff later) to imitate the real SCT they have sponsorship of.

Yes they're metal but I don't think they really stripped, the gears just slipped but they're fine

Yes, the Slash is slightly faster
Would be nice if the motor could be lowered too help with rollovers .
Use dual battery packs, then the car gets somewhat more heavy down below and gets better to drive (as well as double the run time of course).
