Eh,I started off using the clutch as the brake also..but in reality the F1 drivers say themselves that the brake pedal is HARD to fully push down, so I switched to the regular brake and it feels a little smoother once you get used to it. When I use the clutch I fee like I may be slamming the brakes instead of controlling them. It especially works if you have anti lock off.
@@nekaneka-lo2js Yeah i prefer the regular brake since it easier to control. Likely because it gets harder as you push the brake down so I am able know how much force is on the brake. This also helps when trail braking.
Just got the G923 as my first wheel yesterday. I am still around 3 seconds slower on hot laps than with a controller so far but these settings have helped. Many thanks for the video.
The trick is to set your G-Hub to 900 degrees and put the steering saturation to 70 in game. These settings worked like a charm. I can finally compete with my controller times.

Is anyone experiencing no force feedback at all when attempting to at F1 22? It worked fine on release but since the newest 1.10 update it doesn't work at all. G hub uninstall, reinstalled, all registry files removed but still no luck. Anyone found a fix?
@antby11 So what I did was uninstall F1 and Logitech with Revo Uninstaller. Make sure you cancel the steam and Logitech pop ups and uninstall with Revo Uninstaller. Once the pc has restarted. Launch steam in big picture mode, check the wheel is being detected. Then launch f1 22 and go into a practice mode and then do a drive out or a flying lap. Forcefeed back won't work...yet. So what I did is unplug the usb while on track and plug it in. And now ffb should work. Feels strong just like on launch and the in-game settings actually make a difference. Best of luck.
How can I use all buttons on xbox. I can only use the normal abxy, d-pad and so on. But I can't use the other extra buttons like the + and - and I can´t bind them in the settings

I directly compared it on my Xbox Series (no TrueForce support) and I cannot get the same force feedback to work on PC since TrueForce is interferring. I don't know if it's just me but on f1 21 my wheel is fine however f1 22 my wheel feels so un resistant and light and sensitive as hell and my accelerator is like its all ways full throttle and I end up binning it on every corner even if I don't use any throttle and the slightest turning

Played the game for an hour or so, on a G29, understeer enhance ON, feels pretty good. I mean, feels pretty much the same as last year's so leave it at ON if you liked it last year.
Understeer enhance just isn't realistic. It makes your wheel go incredibly light when you start to lose front grip. Its helpful if you're learning where the edge of grip is, but beyond that it should be turned off.
If you have problem with oversteering either u put too much power to gas pedal or turning too much of the wheel A way I fix myself is give it 15 to 30% power to the pedal while your exiting the corner and as ur straighting up give little by little gas until ur steering wheel is straight give it full power Something you could do with hairpins like Monaco or Canada is short shifting too Also if you know ur bout to oversteer let your foot out of the pedal and counter steer Yes u will lose time but it’s better finishing a racing then oversteering and crashing but if ur new to f1 or racing games in general then put the throttle assist to medium I won’t recommend full bec you should learn when ur bout lose grip If ur still having problem then play around with ur pedal deadzone or saturation but I really don’t recommend this unless u have a throttle issue
Used these settings for my tmx pro and they were just about perfect but I recently upgraded to a ts xw and these settings were way to high lol it was a loosing battle trying to wrestle the wheel around high speed corners like Britain 😂 had to set the ffb to about a third of these settings

I have a G29 on PS5, and I use the regular brake pedal, not the clutch like other may do. I set my brake saturation at 15, and I've never touched the throttle settings as I think it's plenty good as it is for me now. Granted, I've only really been racing since the start of this year, so still new lol

Yes you absolutely should at the start of most braking zones. You won't risk locking your wheels until your car starts to slow at which point you start to release brake pressure.
Throttle Linearity has nothing to do with wheel sensitivity. I think you mixed it up with Steering Linearity. Throttle Linearity, as it's explained in the ingame text, makes the pedal less sensitive the higher the setting.

So I recently changed from Xbox to PC and now on PC with TrueForce enabled I feel like there is less actual Force Feedback meaning there is not enough resistance during steering. I'm thinking of selling the G923 for a G920 without TrueForce therefore. Did anybody else notice the lack of actual Force Feedback because of the TrueForce effects?
@@shadostorm8375 I'm now driving at 150% strength in the F1 22 Options and while some details might get lost, I still have a way better feeling of the car at this high setting. I had to reduce the rumble effects (kerbs, grass etc.) however since they are overkill at this setting. You can try to play around with the wheel damper (20-30%) as the feedback gets a little stiffer at higher settings. Overall I'm okay with the TruForce feedback now but I would rather have the option to play without TruForce...

Since the clutch pedal is not used in the f1 games I use it instead of the brake pedal and then it is much easier to control your braking

As a noob, I had the same issue. Steering saturation helped significantly, start in the 10-15 range.

When im rotating my steering wheel 180 degrees it only goes to "40" on the test menu. Thottle and breaks fine. Suggestions?
I changed the operating range in G Hub from 900 -> 360
