I really enjoy your catch and cook videos. Showing how you prepare the catch and eating them makes your videos very interesting. Thank You!!!
I don’t own a boat so do mostly land based fishing. Living in NE Florida gives me access to either beach, inshore and pier fishing. Lately I have been doing more pier fishing and really have been enjoying it. Like you I bring a few different rods and set ups. I really think my skills have been getting better because I have to be more dialed in while on the pier. Thanks and great video
Channel your inner beach bum is hilarious 😂 I just recently found your guy’s podcast and love it. Keep up the good work
I tried to explain to my sister, who has told me she is a fisherman, that the reason you need so many rigs is because the wide variety of fish that you may possibly be fishing for. You also need something for bait.
I have found that you can clean the live bait fish, put them on a stick, tempura, and deep fry. Eat bones and all, and they are quite tasty, depending upon the variety of bait fish that you were using.
Wishing I was there, it seemed like a fun day to be on that pier. Florida law says boats including personal watercraft need to be at least 300 feet away from structures designated for fishing.Swimming is another matter. It's up to the local municipalities to enforce the distance, usually the lifeguards.
Great video Brant what a beautiful day on the pier complet with a nice variety of fish as always the catch and cook looks delicious
Love the pier story brother. I as well spent many days and nights on a pier with my dad so I fully appreciate it.
I love your videos...so entertaining and educational as well. That little. Hehehe...that is So cool.....you need a tee shirt that says that! You say that often!
Back in June I fished this pier and caught about 40 Spanish mackerel in a couple hours. Amazing experience at this pier and would love to go back🤙🏻🤙🏻
Great video Brant! Lots of great catching going on in this one. Certainly one of the calmest pier videos I’ve seen in a long time. Love the whole bake on the mackerel. And here in Atlantic Canada, loved going fishing for our mackerel and pan frying in butter with a light dusting of flour. Just like we did smelts.
Thanks for sharing!!!
I don’t get to pier fish much, but I love it. I really like your pier videos. But then again I like all of your videos. Keep up the great work.
Love this time of year to hit the pier, so many opportunities to target 🎯 different kinds of spices,🎣🐟🐠,, Lol that guy just knew that you were going to give him that fish, he was ready for u with pliers in hand 😊,, always a nice juster,,, Stay Safe God Bless,,,
Started my fishing TH-cam channel thanks brant for lighting the way ❤
Gorgeous water, great hustle keeping on top of them! And then. Yummy food looked great! Keep them coming! Thanld
Pescados super frescos del agua a la olla, 😋.
Nice job Brant, but they need to tell those people swimming and paddle boarding to stay the Hell back away from the pier if they don’t want to get slapped in the body with a lure with a treble hook attached! 🥴
Or a 4oz weight 🤣
Hell, shark!
Awesome vid great fishing
It's not the fishing but the sharks that hang out around the peir 😅
Loved fishing there. You must have went later in the day, the group that shows up at 6am wasn't at the end of the peir. Another great video as usual from you.
rockin my Beach Bum shirt and headed to the glades watching this!!!
Hopefully someone else is driving.
Que vista tan espectacular y más para ir de pesca excelente
i live in pensacola and i grew up on that pier and bob sikes keep up the good work
I live in the Destin area, and it is beautiful this time of the year.
I love the way you Rock the Pier! Every time I get there it's b4 or after a hurricane! Oh well luv ya
Try king, mackerel, fishing of Myrtle Beach pairs
Excellent video, Brant. Thank you.
Excelente contenido. Gran pesca la que hizo, y ese pescadito se ve delicioso; me gusta la pesca ,🎣
I fish the Venice pier in Venice FL,and this time of year it's packed, because the Kingfish are running and everybody got a trolley rig set up at the end.
😅 paddler beware. They can see you all fishing up there. Cavendars has a lot of msg. Nice video.
Oops foul hooked a paddle boarder😂🤕 Sweet mackerel 😮👍
Good job very interenting
Great job Brant!!! Keep up the good work!! That was a dang good Spanish!!! Tight Lines!!!
I love relaxing days on the pier like that. Really cool seeing those huge schools of nice sized Spanish coming through! I bought the Pier Mastery course when it first became available and absolutely loved it, it was extremely in depth and I learned a lot
Greetings From NC: Really Luv The Pier Fishing,Please Do More😊Whiting Fish Are Delicious & Do You Ever Catch & Cook Flounder? Thanks For Sharing❤
Your kids bring back a lot of memories from FWB area. Fished a lot of the same spots. When you hooked that ramora at 9:22, what is that giant fish investigating?
*vids 😂
I also learned to fish on piers! It is strange to see a pier so empty. Every pier I have fished always seems busy even in the winter.
"Channel your inner Beach Bum"...lol! Great video, Brant, thanks!
Man I love your videos. Keep doing what you’re doing.
Great video, Brant
Excelente video.
Where was that dock in Milton? Love you videos I fish in front of Crabtrap in Destin all the time
Que hermoso paisaje
Excelente video 😃
The lifeguards usually alert swimmers on the left side but surfers are usually on the right. Some goofs don’t know the rules
Gonna have to try one of those Whacky Jigs. Seen em on the shelf . But l didn't have confidence in em. Now I've seen them in action...
Being new to the area and a freshwater fisherman, I normally use bait casting reels and occasional closed face spin cast reels. I see most people use open face spinning reels here. Are they better for saltwater fishing?
What rod/reel and line would you recommend for someone wanting to start saltwater fishing?
Lastly, how do you rig for both live and lures?
Como excelente 👌 👏 👍 contenido buena 👍 pesca
I Want to know when you are gonna try some cajun two step. At walmart in the spice aisle
Was out there just this past weekend. Wasnt a ton going on, so I took off to grab some food nearby, but a bit after left apparently someone caught a big ole swordfish.
Excelente 👌 pesca
I’m stopping at beach bum outdoors this weekend, what color or style do you recommend for the pier in water land colors?
Not big on eating fish, but you had my mouth watering over that baked Spanish.
Why don't all you guys get together and ship it fresh express-maybe Bama Beach Bum could organize a fish of the month club! I mean, since both his gals out-fish you fellas...lol
Haha that was kind of you to give to the old asian man, love that
Me gusta mucho ir de pesca
Buena entrevista
I love your videos dude! Keep em coming.👍🏻
I love wat u do.
Some big choppers on those spanish .. wow
Great stuff. Rare to get a calm pier on calm water.
! Magnífico Video🤝👍
That term "beach bum whiting." Is gonna take off. That's all I'm gonna think about when I catch a tiny one now.
Que hermoso todo
Even at the gold pier, they are supposed to be swimming within 50 yards of the pier.
Awesome video, what type of rod and reels are you using?
Thanks for the video and share some of that rain 😂
Good 👍
Another solid video. Was that a barracuda that tried to eat your Remora or did you literally pull that thing off of a shark
It was a cuda
Great video brother thanks man 🤘✌️
Great day fishing when the pier is empty. Love the vids
Swimming, paddle boarding, and surfing near the FISHING pier looking to get treble hooks in your body is like playing basketball in the middle of a busy interstate. Dumb on steroids! They walk among us…🤓
This day would have been great to drop your cam beneath the waves! Please, next time!
Good
Great video dude !
Excelente
Saludos desde PERÚ
Excelente pescador
In my opinion.....you are a Straight Shooter!
Can someone give me info on what rod/reel combos he using? Looking to buy something soon. Thanks.

Have you ever consider doing a catch and cook with local chefs?
Lindo ver 😍 ❤️ ♥️
Awesomeness! Love the c+c videos! Presh8cha!

Lindo muelle
Metal
What rods do you use
Rumbo a la pesca
Was that a barracuda at 16:09? When you were reeling up the remora?
Let’s Go !!! 🧨🧨🧨
I've seen you use the Toadfish Reel for a while, how do you like it?
❤❤❤
Do Permit enjoy live crabs?
Aloha, and yup.
Hey Brant, how heavy casting spoon are you using? I’ve got some 3/4 and 1 oz but thinking about getting some 2 oz to cast out further.
I have that same es spoon from the store and I’m pretty sure it’s a 1.5 oz
Man when you can see fish like that it's like fishing in a barrel
👍
Why didn't you talkin about are the same whiting that is in New England not go up into the fresh water and breathe and you catch on with dip a crab nets
Great way to channel your inner beach bum! 😂

fish looks solid. stuff some lemon and herb in the cavity as well. making me hungry dog
Those paddle boaters have the entire Gulf coast and they decide to paddle next to a fishing pier, and get mad at the anglers 🙄
